God bless all the Catholics trying to be more Catholic than the Catholic Church and slipping into schismatic mindsets (e.g. from being weary to outright rejection of the documents of Vatican II). Who want to be so stuck in their ways and minds that are not willing to listen to this video and humble themselves under the Teaching of the Church they claim to belong to. This inner division amongst Catholics is the most toxic and painful thing to witness. If we are Catholics we WILL listen to what the Church has to say and we WILL strive to grasp it's meaning, truth & accept it.
We will stop this second-guessing, schismatic mentality which at its core really has stopped believing that while yes, the devil has infiltrated into the Church, ultimately the Holy Spirit is guiding Her and certainly it's behind official, normative documents out of a Council.
What Br Casey has said is what y'all are repeating as well - there is no salvation outside the Church, outside of the Atonement of Christ and the fullness of grace it provided for all peoples. Some are actively receiving His redemption, some are indirectly (are you praying for them?). Those who KNOW about the Church's truth and reject it, are at risk to be lost if they persevere in that direction.
How many know that they know that they know, though? How many angry Protestants have really grasped it and still deny it? I believe not many. Certainly we should pray for them rather than throwing hell fire on them and feel self-righteous about it.

You are mistaken TpM: 'Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.' Acts 4 : 12. This is as Catholic as the Church gets. It is a defined Dogma of the Church, even in the New Order of pastoralised liturgies it remains binding.

Also, the Council of Florence taught as dogma that outside the Church there is no salvation. The Council of Vatican II never made any dogmatic proclamations, therefore not everything in that council is infallible (only that which had been infallible before the council). Again, St. Pope Paul VI said as much when he closed the council.

shaz the ‘orthodox’ communities are dead. They are dead because they only follow the first 7 councils so they admit the Holy Spirit left them afterwards. They have died after they separation from Rome. They are unable to organise a pan orthodox council. The last attempt in 2016 was a disaster. The bishops of Moscow and Constantinople are enemies. The spirit of division is the spirit of satan, not of the Holy Spirit.

This is a very succinct explanation of a complex topic. CS Lewis talks about how atheists demand answers to complex questions but get mad when the answers are complex. Christians sometimes do the same thing with issues like salvation. There's no simple answer. We're not God and we don't get to decide who is saved and who is not. The mesaage of the Gospel may reach people through means we may not understand, and it's not our concern how God does that. Our job is to spread the Gospel and let God do the rest.

We never judge individual cases, even our own, because there are subjective factors and hidden factors, but when speaking in general we can say that none but Catholics go to Heaven, except in truly extraordinary cases. For one thing, except for schismatics, non-Catholics are not eating Jesus' Body or drinking His Blood.

    • @GeorgePenton-np9rh

The main reason non-Catholics do not see the truth of Catholicism is because they really aren't looking for truth, they are only looking for something thst feels good. All a non-Catholic has to do is ask God, Dear Lord, of all the world's faiths and religions, which one do you want me in? and God would quickly show them that it is the Catholic religion. In my own case, I grew up Methodist. One night I asked God to show me which of the world's religions was the true religion, and that very night God showed me it was the Catholic religion. If non-Catholics do not convert it is their own fault.

Still, I hope you got the context of what I was saying. The blaspheming is not limited to verbal but since it pertains to God, it is called blasphemy according to commentaries of Bible experts. The context of that passage is God speaks to you His Truth through His Spirit and if you go against it, logically, how can you become repentant and let forgiveness enters your life?
regarding salvation and work. The salvation of men and women started with God. It didn't start with us. But God's salvation is not a passive thing. It is not "once [I'm] saved, [I'm] always saved". Didn't Jesus said, " And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:27). Didn't Jesus said, " "Not everyone who says to me, 'LORD, LORD,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)?

For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
But God's salvation is not a passive thing. It is not "once [I'm] saved, [I'm] always saved".
Depends on what is saved does it not? OSAS is true if it refers to your spirit but definitely not your flesh. You must be born again = scriptural. You can be unborn of the spirit = not found in scripture.
But God's salvation is not a passive thing
Very true and Eph 2:10 says that God has plans for us . However we work because of the free gift of salvation ,not for the gift.
The next time one of your children grieves you make sure you take a gun out and shoot them? Blasphemy is attributing the works of God to satan , grieving is not blasphemy.
God speaks to you His Truth through His Spirit and if you go against it, logically, how can you become repentant and let forgiveness enters your life?
1 Cor 3:5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role. 6 I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
The Holy spirit does not give up on the sinful person but continuously prompts them towards belief. Some just will not believe. regardless. Only two destinations after we die and the world only sees one.

The Creed of St. Athanasius (Athanasian Creed or Quicumque Vult)
Whoever wishes to be saved must, above all, keep the Catholic faith.
For unless a person keeps this faith whole and entire, he will undoubtedly be lost forever.
This is what the Catholic faith teaches: we worship one God in the Trinity and the Trinity in unity.
Neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the substance.
For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, another of the Holy Spirit.
But the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit have one divinity, equal glory, and coeternal majesty.
What the Father is, the Son is, and the Holy Spirit is.
The Father is uncreated, the Son is uncreated, and the Holy Spirit is uncreated.
The Father is boundless, the Son is boundless, and the Holy Spirit is boundless.
The Father is eternal, the Son is eternal, and the Holy Spirit is eternal.
Nevertheless, there are not three eternal beings, but one eternal being.
So there are not three uncreated beings, nor three boundless beings, but one uncreated being and one boundless being.
Likewise, the Father is omnipotent, the Son is omnipotent, the Holy Spirit is omnipotent.
Yet there are not three omnipotent beings, but one omnipotent being.
Thus the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.
However, there are not three gods, but one God.
The Father is Lord, the Son is Lord, and the Holy Spirit is Lord.
However, there as not three lords, but one Lord.
For as we are obliged by Christian truth to acknowledge every Person singly to be God and Lord, so too are we forbidden by the Catholic religion to say that there are three Gods or Lords.
The Father was not made, nor created, nor generated by anyone.
The Son is not made, nor created, but begotten by the Father alone.
The Holy Spirit is not made, nor created, nor generated, but proceeds from the Father and the Son.
There is, then, one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three sons; one Holy Spirit, not three holy spirits.
In this Trinity, there is nothing before or after, nothing greater or less. The entire three Persons are coeternal and coequal with one another.
So that in all things, as is has been said above, the Unity is to be worshipped in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity.
He, therefore, who wishes to be saved, must believe thus about the Trinity.
It is also necessary for eternal salvation that he believes steadfastly in the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thus the right faith is that we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is both God and man.
As God, He was begotten of the substance of the Father before time; as man, He was born in time of the substance of His Mother.
He is perfect God; and He is perfect man, with a rational soul and human flesh.
He is equal to the Father in His divinity, but inferior to the Father in His humanity.
Although He is God and man, He is not two, but one Christ.
And He is one, not because His divinity was changed into flesh, but because His humanity was assumed unto God.
He is one, not by a mingling of substances, but by unity of person.
As a rational soul and flesh are one man: so God and man are one Christ.
He died for our salvation, descended into hell, and rose from the dead on the third day.
He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
At His coming, all men are to arise with their own bodies; and they are to give an account of their own deeds.
Those who have done good deeds will go into eternal life; those who have done evil will go into the everlasting fire.
This is the Catholic faith. Every person must believe it, firmly and steadfastly; otherwise he cannot be saved.
    Amen.

God in His infinite Mercy and Love (which is beyond the understanding of all creatures) will not exclude from His Kingdom those who have never had the chance to know & understand the Faith. THink about the millions of people alive today, in all kinds of situations, in society or in the jungle, who have never heard of God, of Jesus Christ.
Catholicism is not a club of "lucky" people who just somehow happened to be born into a Catholic family or society and were "lucky" enough to maintain their faith.
God is not a "club director" for the elite and lucky few - He is way, way beyond our understanding and knowledge. We little mortals can never with absolute certainty, pin down any condition on God.
Who is saved and who is not is ultimately between God and each single individual.

And this is binding to all Catholics to follow. Holy scripture, by itself affirms one needs to be baptized to be saved, but all the Church's theologians, including all the Holy Fathers all affirmed that you had to be baptized in order to be saved. You can by baptized by water, as our Lord commands in John 3:5.
And you can be baptized by having a desire for baptism, along with perfect contrition for God and charity, as well as love for God in order to be saved. You can also be baptized by blood, where you aren't baptized by water, but martyrdom counts as a baptism since you died for Christ.
Those people, who with invincible ignorance, still attempting to conform themselves to the will of God, and following their conscience will be able to get the grace required to be baptized, andGod will reveal to them the explicit mysteries of the Trinity either before they die, or by a priest, angel, or something else; but no one who enters heaven, while on Earth, never knew Christ explicitly, or the Trinity explicitly, and were never baptized. This has been the Church's consistent teaching going back to before the Council of Nicaea.

I've been studying in Catholic schools all my life. We were taught that only those who actively reject Christ and His teachings even after they've experienced the light of His Gospel are liable to go to hell for their disbelief. It's irrational to expect people to convert to Catholicism just because they've heard of it. As Bro. Casey has mentioned in another video "No one has ever converted to Christianity because they lost an argument. Conversions happen only when a person has felt God's presence in his personal life." Therefore, those who have not yet had the opportunity to experience the light of Christ in their lives won't be doomed to hell for as long as they live reasonably good lives.

Drich, what you have been taught is only partially true. Every human has the duty to search for the truth. And to anyone who merely asks God to show him or her the truth, God will show them that it is Catholicism. That's all that I did. I have making this argument for years and a couple of years ago I found out that St. Augustine, a convert, said the same thing.
If non-Catholics would ask they would receive. If they sought they would find. If they knocked the door would be opened to them. If they fail they have no one to blame but themselves.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - Jesus. With all due respect as a Catholic, I think many are fed up with the pandering and politicization of the church to be "appealing". If Jesus himself said there is NO WAY to the father except through him, I expect our most trusted interpreters (the hierarchy of the Church) to re-iterate that message. Some of us dont care about "appealing to the masses" some of us want the actual word of God. I might be a bad Catholic because I dont agree with much of what the current pope's views and interprestations are, but when Jesus himself says something in scripture I believe Him over the Pope. The reason we are losing our brothers and sisters is because we make light of the scriptures. It is proper to state the word of God unequivocally and with conviction! With all due respect, I wish our leaders would be more hard line and stop pandering to politics of the day. There is no salvation except through Jesus, and if you are the true Church, and your interpretation is true, then it would be right to say there is no salvation except through the Church. If you dont believe it strongly, why should I as a Catholic?

Almost 1900 YEARS after the start......he says the "practice" of the church has always been the same. YET......we can zoom out and see that practice and its development and error as it gets older. So VERY obvious.....it has not always been the same. It was simpler back at the beginning. In Protestantism defense, it was more like them than the current Orthodox or RCC transitions and what they have come to today. The council of Jerusalem was extremely eye opening in Acts. "Yea, if you are a gentile believer you do not have to become a Jew. Just stay away from idols, sexual immorality follow the tenants of the gospel and your good! " Wait what?! Where is everything else? Where are my hail Mary's (or anything even remotely close) or icon veneration or intercessory prayer from dead saints? if anything this is an extreme eye opener to the negation of adding things to the Gospel. Things that don't even effect me. Like the priesthood being celibate. SOOOO late, when in scripture we have a command that Bishops only have 1 wife. Or that priests of the temple in Judaism have children and wives as well! On a more scathing note. Has it always been the practice of Christians to murder those they disagree with......since things have ALWAYS been the same? The slaughter of the Waldensians? The slaughter of the Lollards or Anabaptists? The Hussites? Jan Huss? The inquisition? Does the church still do that? you know, because its ALWAYS been the same. Pope Leo XIII is so obviously WRONG in his statement. There is one thing that the RCC in its magisterium did not expect in the future that would show what amny of them say to be a total lie or a farce. That is, the Internet.

If Christians, despite their divisions, can grow evermore united in common prayer around Christ, they will grow in their awareness of how little divides them in comparison to what unites them.
“It is absolutely clear that ecumenism, the movement promoting Christian unity, is not just some sort of ‘appendix’ which is added to the Church’s traditional activity. Rather, ecumenism is an organic part of her life and work, and, consequently, must pervade all that she is and does.”

As a Protestant, I get annoyed at other Protestants who say that Roman Catholics aren't Christians because of the idolatry. At the same time, I find the same irritation when a Roman Catholic says their is no salvation outside of their organized group.
Most Protestants believe in the "catholic" (universal) church and that within it (including Baptists, Pentecostals, Methodists, Lutherans, Catholics, Orthodox, etc.), is the message of Salvation. Therefore, whenever we hear any one of our fellow denominations claim that Salvation is through Christ but only by also being a member of their denomination, we're going to disagree and (borrowing from your Ten Commandments Video), you certainly shouldn't blame us.

I know for myself. It was when I came to that place of being broken, empty and not seeing any point in my life, no purpose. I was a broken vessel. Then I asked God "let me know who you are". I wasn't religious, I'm still not. I was ready to make that change. To stop living for myself and start living for God. I asked God for forgiveness and for Him to me my Lord and Saviour. Then I received the Holy Spirit baptism in my bedroom. I hadn't even been near a church and still don't attend a local church building as they all teach false doctrine and are not the true church. The true church are the called out ones, it's the people, rather than a building.
    Like the aopstle Paul said:
1Co 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
It's all about Jesus and accepting His sacrifice and fully repenting. Changing from following our own will to God's will, which is an ongoing process of sanctification in the word.
    Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Living a new transformed life in Christ. Someone can be a bible expert and not know Christ. He calls all men everywhere to repent and beleive in their hearts.

ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “The universality of salvation means that it is granted not only to those who explicitly believe in Christ and have entered the church. Since salvation is offered to all, it must be made concretely available to all. But it is clear that today, as in the past, many people do not have an opportunity to come to know or accept the Gospel revelation or enter the Church. The social and cultural conditions in which they live do not permit this, and frequently they have been brought up in other religious traditions. For such people salvation in Christ is accessible by virtue of a grace, which, while having a mysterious relationship to the Church, does not make them formally part of the Church but enlightens them in a way which is accommodated to their spiritual and material situation. This grace comes from Christ; it is the result of his Sacrifice and is communicated by the Holy Spirit. It enables each person to attain salvation through his or her free cooperation.”

While I can see how your question relates to this one, it is definitely a separate issue that requires a different explanation. This video is concerned with a post-Resurrection world.
As for those before, we have to remember that the same God who died and rose here on earth is the one that will judge the souls of those who lived before the Incarnation. This God is loving and merciful and wants all to come in union with the Triune God. There is no reason for us to believe anything other than the fact that Jesus Christ will judge them fairly and that his resurrection now applies to them.

Joseph Hamm, the Church teaches that there is such a thing as baptism of desire, which can be explicit (a catechumen has a fatal heart attack the week before his scheduled Baptism), or implicit (they lived at a time and place where the Gospel had never bern preached, but were repentant of sin and would have been baptized had they known God wanted it).
God is reasonable. But He still commands all to search for the truth.

*R Catholicism has nothing to do with God and His Words. R Catholic Church contradicts Scriptures in every possible ways!*
    1. Catholics say Mary was sinless. But BIBLE says Mary offered a sinner's offering. She was a sinner. Bible says Mary needed a Saviour. Lk 2:23-24, Lev 12:6-8, Rom 3:10.
    2. Catholics say clergies must be celibate. Yet BIBLE says Peter (supposed R Church first leader) had mother in law. Bible says celibacy is not a qualification for clergies. Mat 8:14-15, Mar 1:30-31, Luk 4:38-39.
    3. Catholics say Mary was forever virgin. Yet BIBLE says Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mary was not perpetually virgin. Mk 6:3, Mat 13:55, Mat 27:56, Mar 6:3, Mar 15:40, Mar 15:47.
    4. Catholics say confess to R priests in a box. BIBLE says nothing about confessing to priests in a box. Bible says confess to GOD only. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6, Romans 10:9-10.
    5. Catholics say drink of the physical blood of Jesus. Yet OT and NT both say do not drink blood. Acts 15, Lev 7:26.
    6. Catholics say pray to passed on Mary and "saints". Yet BIBLE says do not contact the dead. NT Church did not record a single case of NT believers asking passed on saints to pray for them. Deut 18:11, Isaiah 8:19.
    7. Catholics make and bow down to statues. BIBLE says do not bow down to graven images (statues). Deut 4, Exo 20:4-5.
    8. Catholics sprinkles “holy water”. But NT Church of the Bible mentioned nothing about “holy water”. There was no record of any Apostles sprinkling “holy water” on believers. Catholics claimed “holy water” came from OT. Yet Num 5:17 says “holy water” was water used to test adulterous women in OT temple. Hardly the same. Those were for Old Covenant Jews. Not New Testament Christians.
    9. Catholics say Peter was pope - bishop of all bishops. Yet BIBLE says Peter was just a leader of the Jerusalem Church. Bible says nothing of the office of bishop of bishops. Gal 2:9, Mat 16:18.
    10. Catholics say there is a seat of Peter. Yet BIBLE says nothing about it. Jesus said “not to lord over others”.
    11. Catholics has clergy priesthood. Bible says clergy priesthood was done away with in New Testament. There is no clergy priesthood in NT. Heb 7:27, 9:12, 10:10.
    12. Catholics preaches Works Salvation (faith + good works + partake R sacraments + submit to R pontiff + be in R Church + devote to Mary = to be saved). Yet Bible says “believe in Jesus to be saved”. Bible says Works Salvation is cursed. Gal 1:8-9. Acts 16:30-31, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10.
    13. Catholics says they must do Penance to atone for their sins. Yet Bible says repent, confess and sins will be forgiven. Catholic Bible changes the word “repentance” in NT into “penance”. Original Greek NT does not use or mean the word penance. Penance = work to atone for sins. Repentance = change of heart. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6.
    14. Catholics say Mary went straight to heaven without dying. Yet Bible says nothing about it.
    15. Catholics say Islam and Christianity have the same GOD. Yet Islam doesn't believe in death and resurrection of Jesus and Trinity.

Other forms - were the Church of England was not established - had 'Christian', but if this were ticked, a Protestant minister would be called, not a Catholic priest or religious (whether Roman or Eastern). The Roman communion did distinguish itself from other Ancient Petrine churches (e.g. Antioch or Alexandria) with God's Beloved called to be saints at Rome, Rom 1 : 7-8, or the Holy Roman church/ the Holy Roman Catholic church, and also from other ancient churches that were both Catholic (credal catholic) and Roman (in the Roman empire), e.g. Jerusalem/ Caesarea, Antioch, Damascus, Cyrenaica, Edessa, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, Smyrna, Laodicea, Galatia, Cyprus, Alexandria, Pompey, Lyons, Milan, Trier, Verulamium (St Albans), Armenia, Nicea, Elvira, Savile, Carthage, Hippo, Byzantium/ Constantinople/ Second Rome/ Istanbul, and Third Rome/ Kiev/ Moscow, et al.
Note well, many of these churches no longer exist, other than in name, having been swept away under the tide of Islam. If I mean the Roman communion (Rom 1 : 7-8) or the Holy See (the Holy Roman church, aka The Vatican), I tend to say so. But the Catholic Church covers all the above, in communion with the Successor to St Peter (and that is as true at St Mary Trastevere or downtown Susquehanna); I am a Catholic, but I answer Roman Catholic on English forms (in the dwindling hope I may still get a Catholic priest in Extreme Unction and not a layperson - or a Protestant).

However, unlike Armenia, Ethiopia and India, the above were also of Rome Romans, imperially, and much of their own temporal jurisdictional authority rested on that (the three Petrine Sees, Rome, Antioch, and Alexandria having spiritual and temporal authorities resting on his witness not imperial and metropolitan position alone .. if only through Mark, at Alexandria).

I could not help but notice, that during the Brother's talk, never once was the Bible or any Scripture discussed regarding how one is saved. The entire support for the doctrine of "There is No Salvation Outside the Roman Catholic Church" was based on arguments brought forth by "church fathers", church councils and the Magistarium.
The church has been, and continues to be, comprised of individuals who posses varying view points, perceptions and education. This is true even today. One need only read the comments following this video to see that Catholics disagee with not only Protestants but fellow Catholics alike. Over the history of the RCC, members of church councils debated and argued over the development of doctrines and religious traditions. They were never cut and dry because they were products of men.
The RCC also has a very troubling history. During the Inquisitions, individuals were tortured and killed if they did not swear allegiance to the Church and recant reformed theology. Many Papal seats were bought and sold, fought over and stolen. There were many very good Popes but unfortunately, some very bad Popes too. Desire for riches, authority, recognition and sexual lust are an ever lasting stain on the Papacy. And why did this occur? Simply, Popes, like all men, are human and subject to sin. They make mistakes just like everyone else. And because of this they, like all men, do not have the right or the authority to pronounce who will and will not be saved. Salvation is a gift from God and He, and He alone, will pass judgement.
Throughout the Bible, it is repeated time and again, even by Jesus Christ himself, that salvation is a free gift from God and one only need faith in God to recieve this gift.
No church can save you. Only Christ can save you and he offers salvation to anyone who believes in him. It is dependent upon the person to truly believe in Christ to obtain salvation.

Christ's church was built to teach the Gospel; the Good News of Christ's free gift of salvation. It might help you to read Paul's letter to the Church in Corinth. (1 Corinthians) There was some division in the early church there and Paul wrote to inform them of their responsibility to teach the Good News. As stated by Paul, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Good News ..." 1 Corn 1:17.
"It is the Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you ..." 1 Corn 15:2
Take your time reading this epistle. It really is a fascinating glimpse into the early church. It will also show that the purpose of the church is to teach and salvation is only through God's grace.

Incidentally the SSPX (but not the FSSP) teaches that there is no baptism of desire. Historically most schisms sooner or later begin to teach heresy.

I have a simple question, then why would a Protestant have the need of being Catholic if there's salvation outside the Catholic Church?
Do you guys think it doesn't matter which church you go to?
As far as I know Jesus Christ has only one body and that unity with the most holy Trinity is found only in the EUCHARIST, Jesus is not divided, not one of his bones where broken , he wasn't dismembered like John the Baptist.
So I believe with all my heart that Jesus founded his church ONLY ONE CHURCH , the Catholic Church and outside of this church there is no salvation, for a lot of reasons one of them are the sacraments specially the holy EUCHARIST.
And I believe all the bishops like the early church father's knew this very clearly.

    • @Kitiwake

      That's a complex question.
Protestant churches are apostate in that they reject the authority of the church. They are therefore outside the church and of the possibility of salvation.
If however a prostestant desires in good heart to be part of the church but is prevented or feels he can't for a variety of reasons, than that person has the possibility to be saved.

While there were some bad Popes throughout history and there were some major crises that took place over the centuries, the dogma had always been the dogma. Suddenly, major dogmatic teachings of the Catholic Church did a 180 during the 1960s. Why did they change so radically? Why are Catholics now being told not to proselytize and not hold their Catholic faith whole and inviolate?
Unfortunately, we did not heed to the warnings of Roman Pontiffs who specifically mentioned these types of false doctrines invading the Church more than a century ago. True traditional Catholic Popes such as Leo XIII and St. Pius X warned us about freemasonry and modernism, respectively. Sadly, both of those evils have seduced many Catholics into thinking that this "modern" doctrine is the way, the truth and the life.
"Feeneyism" is a popular target for modernists. They like to think his teachings were novel or revolutionary, which is completely false. All Father Feeney did was preach the same message all the Church Fathers and Doctors had preached for centuries. Sadly, the bizarre admonishment of Feeney by his modernist overlords clearly proves that the demons of Vatican II were creeping into the churches and seminaries long before Vatican II actually happened.

      1) "Can be saved" doesn't mean "will be saved". Invincible ignorance means they accepted the grace they had, even if it was few. It's like the servant who received fewer talents but still worked with what he had. With that attitude, he will say yes to God if discover explicit faith. But there are still people who are like the servant who hides the talent, and you can't tell one from the other if you don't see his soul.
      2) Even if I received a vision in which universalism happened to be true, I would still preach the Gospel. Because having God also in this life is worth the risk. And because He deserves everyone to love Him and glorify Him. "Love isn't loved!" was saint Francis cry. Salvation is infinitely important, but we should love and make love God for Who He is and have done, independently of that. Attributted to saint John of the Cross: "Even if there were no Heaven, I would love You". Saint Therese of Lissieux: "Even if I end up in hell, I'll praise You from there".

*The Old Covenant Priesthood was already obsolete. Heb 7,9,10 says there is no longer a need for clergy priesthood, altars or sacrifices. Since Jesus said "it is finished". It was completed. The Old Covenant Priesthood was gone. The New Covenant priesthood was Jesus as the Great High Priest and all believers as the priests. 1 Pet 2:9 - priesthood of all believers. Not clergy priests.*

what is obsolete according to Hebrews is the Levitical priesthood in the line of Aaron of the old covenant. Christ has a priesthood in the line of Melchizedek, who blessed Abraham. And just as a high priest appoints priests, Christ appoints them to offer the perfect sacrifice of the new covenant, himself.

*95% of R Church doctrines were unheard of in 1st century and not from traditions of Jesus and Apostles or Scriptures or contradicts Scriptures! Jesus, Apostles and Nt Church of the Bible had not heard or practised any of these Rc doctrines.*
    1. Purgatory 2. Confessing to priests 3. Office of pope or priests4. Pope being the vicar (representation of Christ, usurping the authority of God)5. Praying to Mary, saints6. Penance 7. Worshipping idols/images, placing idols images in church8. Church in the Bible is not building, but the body of believers9. Sacrament was never the real body and blood of Christ as RC church claimed (Real meaning real blood and body, bcos it didnt really turned "bloody" did it?)10. Salvation by (works (7sacraments) +faith) was never in the Bible. Real salvation is by grace through faith as seen in Bible. 11. Rosary, set repetitive prayers, hail Mary 10000 times12. Mass - putting Christ on the altar again and again13. Mary as queen of heaven 14. Mary as Ark of the new covenant. 15. Mary as the mother of heavenly Jesus thus Mary exist before Christ16. Immersion of infant for baptism17. Holy water18. Celibacy of priests (no office of priests in NT anyway, only priesthood of all believers)19. Kissing of statues20. Changing of 10 commandments. COmmandment of graven image removed by Catholic CHurch in Catholic Catechism. Splitting of another commandment into 2 commandments. 21. Catholic church changed Bible verse Gen 3:15 (And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."). 'He' and 'His' referring to Christ.
Catholics changed it to (Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; She shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise Her heel.") 'She' and 'Her' refers to Mary. 22. Catholic Church use Rev 12 to refer to Mary as 'queen of heaven', when Rev 12:6 clearly refers to Israel escaping the Great Tribulation. Mary cannot be alive to escape the Great Tribulation. 23. Catholic Church refers to Mary as 'Queen of heaven', but 'Queen of Mary' in the Bible is a demonic entity Astoreth or Ishtar, the female deity partner of Baal. 5 verses in Jeremiah as proof.24. Catholic church refers to Mary as the Mediatress, Co redemptress, helper of Christ, firstborn of all creation ..
Mary cannot be the mediatress. Jesus is the one and only Mediator between God and man. Only Jesus redeems. Only the Holy Spirit is the Helper sent by Jesus. Only Jesus is the firstborn of all creation. 25. Roman Catholicism has “saints” one can pray to in order to gain a particular blessing. For example, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla is the patron saint of fertility. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. There are multiple patron saints of healing and comfort.
Nowhere is even a hint of this taught in Scripture. Just as the Roman pantheon of gods had a god of love, a god of peace, a god of war, a god of strength, a god of wisdom, etc., so the Catholic Church has a saint who is “in charge” over each of these and many other categories. Many Roman cities had a god specific to the city, and the Catholic Church provided “patron saints” for cities as well.26. Mary is called the gate of heaven? Mary has keys to paradise?
Here are roman pagan teachers saying their man made goddess is their savior. None of these quotes have been denounced, on the contrary they are cited.
"Open to us, O Mary, the gate of Paradise, since you have its keys! " St. Ambrose
"God has entrusted the keys and treasures of Heaven to Mary." St. Thomas Aquinas
"No one can enter into Heaven except through Mary, as entering through a gate. " St. Bonaventure
"Mary is called "The Gate of Heaven" because no one can enter Heaven but through her means." St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

Heartfelt thanks for this clear explanation, very well presented!!! I was so disturbed some months ago, after having seen another video in which a priest maintained the old, strict view of "no salvation outside the Catholic Church" - neither Jews nor Protestants, not not even aborted babies (the latter would be sent to a limbo for the unbaptised). The sermon was so disturbing that I couldn't watch to the end.... I felt in my heart of hearts that it couldn't be right - such a strict, narrow definition of salvation was not in line with the infinite Mercy and Love of God. I well remember the Scripture "the will of God is the salvation of all men".
Finally, I also felt that this (Salvation) was a truth which is beyond human understanding/knowledge, since, apart from the Saints & Mystics, we do not know with absolute certainty who has been saved and who hasn't. And even the Saints who 'taught' that only a tiny percentage of humans would be saved --- even the Saints are not free of error.

Had He wanted clones, He would have created clones!! Instead, He created individuals. He will know how to deal with the whole spectrum of opinions & ideas. Peace be with you too!!

How do Catholics define the “Church”? I’m a Protestant simply trying to learn the Catholic perspective. It seems there are some who think the Catholic Church is the end-all-be-all “Church” - but we Protestants don’t believe that. Well I guess I can’t speak for all Protestants - but I’ve always interpreted that the “Church” is a collective of ALL people who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior regardless of the institution. For scriptural reference, see Mark 9:38-41. Peter sees others driving out demons, but they weren’t with Jesus, so he rebuked them. However Jesus corrects Peter and says they are not against them, and indeed for them since they belong to the Messiah. I really don’t know how else you could interpret that text. I realize the Catholic tradition is that only their Church leaders have the authority to interpret Scripture... but how else could you interpret that? I mean, let’s just assume the Catholic Church is the “official” Church or whatever... I’m starting to be convinced that it actually is the church that Jesus and the disciples started. However, wouldn’t Jesus himself be perfectly okay with Protestant churches since they proclaim the Gospel and do good works in His name? We have a different view of works within salvation, but we are doing good works nonetheless. Some see works as a means unto salvation, and others as a result of it... but at the end of the day, we’re all doing it for Christ right? Anyway... I’m just a humble Protestant trying to understand.

The Church is the mystical body and spouse of Christ and household of God. It is not all believers in Christ. That is a protestant error. The Church Fathers never said that. Even the heretical schismatics of ancient times believed in Christ. But they did not belong to the Church and they did not have the faith of the Church. The same is true today. All believers in Christ are do not belong to one body - they are not in communion with each other and they don't have the same faith - so they cannot be members of the Church. The Church has been governed by bishops of Rome since St. Peter established the church of Rome. The bishop of Rome is the source of unity in the Church. Communion with him defines the body of the Church.

@Edward Nehls At Matthew 16:19 Jesus gave the pope the authority to "loose and to bind", that is, the authority to make rules for members of the Church. So what you might consider a man-made rule, for instance clerical celibacy, the rule that requires Catholics to marry in the Church, the rule that requires Catholics to attend Mass every Sunday, or the rule that requires Catholics not to est meat on Fridays during Lent, are actually rules that God backs up----God will send people to Hell for violating these rules (these kinds of rules apply to Catholics only, unlike the ten commandments, which apply to all).

As a Catholic, ex-Protestant, I can say that the work and will of God is bound by no rule or law of man. The work of the Holy Spirit is not entombed only to the confines of the Church. To believe this would be to refute the will of God, and denying the life Jesus lead among the marginalized and the fringe. Sometimes, the bureaucracy and red tape of religion, is a humanistic failing. We narrow our vision and miss the true work of God. We attempt to bind Christ's mission into a societal box, so that it is clean and easy to understand. His mission was simple, yet we have convoluted it, twisted it, and made it into something, that at times, pulls us farther from our Lord and Savior. I'll end with this, if you only see the hand of God and the Holy Spirit at work inside the Catholic Church, your eyes are in fact, closed. To know God is to know and understand mercy and beauty in the transformative process that is happening even in the worst of places and under the worst of circumstances.

Except in some exceptional cases, more or less as described by Pius IX, I think salvation outside of the church is impossible. The point, though, is not so much how you define outside, but how you define the CHURCH, and certainly the Church of Christ is not limited to the Roman section of it. In fact, the Roman section is very problematic, theologically speaking, so day it softly. The true Catholic Church is something different, and much broader.

One has to question whether a Muslim, particularly one raised in a Muslim-run country, can truly understand what they are rejecting. In reality, it is often not an active, fully-conscious rejection, put a passive acceptance of what they have grown into. Even when they encounter a Christian and hear of the divinity of Christ, this does not mean that they have fully encountered it as they are not necessarily free to do so.
There are always many factors to be considered. While some might be attracted to the clarity of the early Church and find current times to be more confusing, we should not equate this with weakness. Rather, it is wisdom and humility. The arrogant comes to quick and clear pronouncements about God. The wise is careful and is open to mercy, recognizing that he or she does not have all the answers.

At 8:11, one of many a "non sequitur". There is Salvation ONLY and SOLELY in Christ because it is WHAT he did and he ALONE which ACTUALLY and REALLY saves, that being his DEATH on the cross, 2000 years ago. As it is written, without ASSUMPTION, without DOUBT, without SPECULATION, without HESITATION, in the Word of God:
    (Heb 10:10 [HCSB])
By this will of God, we have been SANCTIFIED through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.
    (Heb 10:12 [HCSB])
But this man, after offering ONE SACRIFICE for sins FOREVER, sat down at the right hand of God.
    (Heb 10:14 [HCSB])
For by ONE OFFERING He has perfected FOREVER those who are SANCTIFIED.
"His church", i.e, his people, a "body" of BELIEVERS who have placed their TRUST in the RESURRECTED "Christ", hence called "Christians" (little Christs), CANNOT save anyone. One BECOMES a member of the "body" of Christ, when one BELIEVES/TRUSTS in HIM. The PROCESS is simple. First, one must place their "trust, his "faith", in Christ Jesus, and by so doing OBTAINS Salvation, Eternal life; trust in a "church", an INSTITUTION of people, does not and CANNOT give anyone Salvation. No INSTITUTION owns the "rights" to the Savior Jesus Christ. He is OFFERED to all by God Himself.
    "But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
"For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
"For the Scripture says, 'Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.'
"For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.
"For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' " (Romans 10:8-13) ESV2011
The way to be saved, OBTAIN Salvation, according to Scripture, is by "calling on the NAME of the Lord (Jesus Christ)". After one "calls" on Jesus to "save" him then one is MADE a member of Christ's "body", his "ekklesia/assembly of people". Christ's "church" is not an INSTITUTION nor a DENOMINATION nor a BUILDING. It is a CONGREGATION of PEOPLE who are ALL BELIEVERS in Christ.
So the question posed here in this video makes NO SENSE for there is neither Salvation "outside of the church, any church" nor is there Salvation "inside the Catholic or any other church". Salvation DOES NOT RESIDE in ANY "church", it RESIDES SOLELY in a Person and that Person is Jesus Christ, who is sitting at the right hand of the Father '"as we speak". No authority or power to GIVE Salvation was ever transferred or given to a "church", a group of individuals; that power has ALWAYS remained exclusively in the hands of God and His son the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, one must go DIRECTLY to Christ, who is in Heaven, and FREELY OBTAIN, by faith through God's UNMERITED Favor and Mercy, eternal Salvation, by "CALLING" on him.
"Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
"For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a DAY OF SALVATION I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.
"We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry..." (2 Corinthians 6:1-3)
The only thing any Christian "church" can do is to POINT you - as I am doing now - to the Man Jesus Christ so that you can "go to him" for your Salvation which HE alone paid for on the "tree" 2000 years ago.
"...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
"Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
"For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
"More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
    "
    (Romans 5:8-11) ESV2011
YOU do NOT have to DO anything to "save" yourself; Christ HAS DONE that for you! His Sacrificial death on Calvary 2000 years ago is still the ONLY sacrifice for sin which can still EFFECTIVELY and COMPLETELY sanctify, cleanse, and save anyone who "goes to him". You do NOT have to go to a "church" because a "church" CANNOT save anyone nor can it offer Salvation to anyone. Only Christ can do that because HE is the Savior of the World, whom God the Father gave so as no one should perish. As Jesus said about his impending death:
"...And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM may have eternal life.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish but have eternal life.
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be SAVED THROUGH HIM.
"Whoever BELIEVES IN HIM is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
    (John 3:14-18) ESV2011
God GAVE his Son to the world so that the world could be saved by HIM. He did not give a "church" to believe in so that whoever would trust in "her" would be saved. He said that whosoever BELIEVES in "him", NOT in a "church" or what a "church" has to offer, in "him" is Salvation, Eternal Life, because in "him" is the ONE time, never to be repeated/re-sacrificed, ONCE and for all time, ONLY acceptable atonement/propitiation for the sins, available for mankind. This Salvation which is in Christ alone is offered as a FREE Gift, without any "merit" on the believer's side. You cannot work for a "gift" otherwise it is not a "gift".
"But the FREE GIFT is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the GRACE (unmerited favor, my note) of God and the FREE GIFT by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.
And the FREE GIFT is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.
For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the FREE GIFT of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
    (Romans 5: 15-17) ESV2011
Salvation is NOT and NEVER has been in a "church" nor in a "church's" Sacraments; Salvation has ALWAYS been solely in ONE Man, the Man Christ Jesus. Paul was POINTING people to Christ, not to a "church" nor to her "sacraments" when he penned these words:
"This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
who desires ALL PEOPLE TO BE SAVED and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
"For there is one God, and there is ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a RANSOM for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
"For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle ( I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
    "
    (1 Timothy 2:3-6) ESV2011
There is but ONE "ransom", but ONE "mediator", and no "church" nor any other person can MEDIATE, nor RANSOM, nor SAVE anyone EXCEPT the Lord Jesus Christ, who sits at God's right hand this very moment. Call on him to save you NOW and he will GIVE you ETERNAL Salvation, which he alone PURCHASED with his blood, 2000 years ago. It is STILL EFFECTIVE for today!

    • @anthonypuccetti8779

No there is not salvation only in Christ. That is not a teaching. Christ is not alone in his divinity or in saving people. The Father and Holy Spirit are also God and they also save. And God saves through his grace and his Church and through faith and obedience, not through Christ's sacrifice alone. Otherwise everyone would be saved by that even without having faith in Christ. And the word of God is not limited to scripture it is also the sacred tradition of the Church which includes scripture. Scripture doesn't say that scrpture is the word of God or inerrant and it doesn't name all its books. The Church taught those things.

@@anthonypuccetti8779 - We understand and even "take it for granted" that God is the ULTIMATE Provider of Salvation; God ULTIMATELY is our Savior. But God has a SPECIFIC way of Salvation and that way is ONLY in and through His Son. Christ was SENT/GIVEN by God for a SPECIFIC purpose, as the Apostle John clearly states:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he GAVE his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God SENT not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world THROUGH HIM might be saved.
Is John also wrong in saying that it is "through Christ" or "in Christ" that a Man is SAVED? Are you going to condemn him also for not ADDING that the "church" is necessary for Salvation? Did God send Jesus to start a new "church" so that men could be saved through that "church"?
The Apostle Paul tells us plainly what God was doing "in Christ".
      2Cor 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath RECONCILED us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of RECONCILIATION;
2Cor 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, RECONCILING the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of RECONCILIATION.
What did God PROVIDE as a means of RECONCILIATION, i.e. Salvation? Did He provide a "church"? According to Paul He provided a Savior, One PERSON, His Son, the Lord Jesus of Nazareth. What did Jesus HIMSELF -alone, with no help from anyone- actually DO that would save a Man? To whom is every man supposed to LOOK AT?
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the SON OF MAN be lifted up:
John 3:15 That whosoever BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have eternal life.
You see, the "good news" is about Christ and that Christ, "who knew no sin" BECAME "sin for us" (as a Sacrifice for sin) and that ATONING and RECONCILIATORY work was accomplished on the Roman execution stake 2,000 years ago. The "good news" is not about a "church", nor "sacraments", nor a "priesthood", nor a "sainthood", nor a "motherhood", but about a SAVIOUR, a REDEEMER, a MESSIAH, and a Kingdom to come of a King of kings on Earth.
Payment FOR sin has been made, by Christ ALONE, God's only begotten, with his own shed BLOOD. Read this carefully: Christ has PAID the PRICE for the "wages of sin" with his death whereby, since God resurrected him from the Grave, he can DISPENSE Salvation to:
      Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the WORD OF FAITH, which we preach;
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess (acknowledge as true) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made UNTO SALVATION.
Salvation is not "automatically" given to all men simply because Christ has "paid it all". God is clear that TRUST or FAITH "in His Son" is necessary for Salvation. Primarily it is FAITH in his RECONCILIATORY work on the Roman "cross". The Jews had a tough time accepting that "no more sacrifice for sin" was needed because of Jesus' ONE TIME FOREVER ATONING/RECONCILING WORK on the "cross", i.e., the New Covenant, which God had made with the blood of Jesus as the Sacrificial Lamb.
Rome also has a "tough time" in "getting" what Christ's Sacrifice means which is why they have a, as they call it, "repeated or continual sacrifice of sin", which they call the "same sacrifice" as Christ's Sacrifice, which is IMPOSSIBLE. The Scriptures say ONE Sacrifice for sin, not "many of the same kind". What Rome doesn't get, or does get but does not want her people to understand is that, AFTER Christ's Sacrifice for sin on Calvary, God Himself REQUIRES no more sacrifices for sin, PERIOD. To offer "sacrifice" for sin AFTER Christ has ATONED for sin is AGAINST the will of God.
Every Roman Catholic should read the book of Hebrews, ON HIS OWN WITH NO ONE LOOKING OVER HIS SHOULDERS. It states as follows:
Heb 9:26b ...but NOW ONCE in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Heb 10:10 By the which will we are SANCTIFIED through the OFFERING of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.
Heb 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
      Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had OFFERED ONE SACRIFICE for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
Heb 10:14 For by ONE OFFERING he hath perfected FOR EVER them that are SANCTIFIED.
Heb 9:28 So Christ was ONCE OFFERED to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Rome DENYS the efficacy of the ONE SACRIFICE of Christ on the "cross" which historically took place 2,000 years ago. It is THAT ONE "bloody" Sacrifice and THAT "bloody" Sacrifice ALONE which Christ ALONE took upon himself that Sanctifies and Cleanses any man that TRUSTS, i.e. has Faith in Christ, as God Himself requires of a man. For "without faith it is impossible to please God" as says the Scriptures. The Father has SENT the Son and any man that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father.
It is through God's Grace (unmerited favor), in making provision for sin, through the obedience of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ in submitting himself to the Father's will by suffering death, so that reconciliation for man's sin could be made, IF A MAN BELIEVES, will OBTAIN that FREE Salvation which Christ ALONE has FULLY PAID for and which God FREELY Gives upon a person's COFESSION of Faith in the Gospel message being preached. Salvation is a FREE GIFT of God given to anyone who TRUSTS in Christ; God WANTS people to TRUST in His Son; no TRUST in the SON is no TRUST in God.
Christ is "the door" of Salvation therefore he is the ONLY one whom God has for a man to preach. Paul "preached Christ" for Salvation and through his death on the cross; he did not preach salvation through ANOTHER Name nor through a CHURCH. A "church" is just people and people CANNOT save anyone. No "church" was ever given to provide Salvation. The Son of God, Jesus Christ was GIVEN to provide Salvation through HIS WORK and HIS WORK ALONE on the Roman execution stake. It is through Christ and Christ ALONE that any man can "go to the Father"; it is not a "church" through whom one goes to the Father.
      1Tim 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
1Tim 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
      1Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Tim 2:6 Who GAVE HIMSELF A RANSOM for all, to be testified in due time.
The fact is that Rome minimizes the POWER and EFFICACY of the HISTORICAL death of Christ. It is THAT ONE TIME historical sacrificial death of Jesus alone that God accepts as PROPITIATION for sin; nothing else will do; it CANNOT be repeated and never will be repeated. No "church" has a monopoly on Salvation for Salvation is freely given by God, as it is WRITTEN in Scriptures, to "whomsoever" believes in Christ.
Rome is selling "snake oil" with her Sacraments; there is no Salvation in Rome. The Roman Catholic Church is a man made Religion based on Apostate Christianity and Paganism as all historians duly note. The "Bishops of Rome" and the "Roman Emperors" were the ones who CREATED the Catholic (Universal Empire) Church, i.e., the ROMAN denomination which was seated on the 7 Hills founded by Romulus and Remus. Now, either Salvation is solely "in Christ", as the Scriptures proclaim, or in the "traditions of men" whatever they may be. Choose ONE, but you cannot have both as Jesus said.
Matt 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
Matt 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matt 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Beware of putting "tradition" BEFORE the Word of God, i.e. the Scriptures.

the church was founded from a simple question...Jesus asked His disciples...whom do men say that I AM...one answered John the Baptist risen from the dead, one said Elijah, one said they said you are one of the great prophets...then Jesus asked His disciples who do you say I AM...and Simon Peter said i say that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God..Jesus answered him you are correct...and I will call you the rock...the church is not a wooden building, nor one made of cobblestone, but the church is understanding who Jesus Christ is, which He is the Son of God...we can not find salvation in Buddha, Hare Krishna, Elijah Muhammad Confucius, nor the virgin Mary for that matter...it is only through Jesus Christ, the only name given under heaven by which a man can be saved...it doesn't matter what denomination we are, we must be rooted in Christ Jesus...it was only by His blood that justice was pleased because it is able to remove all guilty stains.. believe me, there is no entering into His kingdom without Him!!!

Thank you Br Casey but I'll stay with our Lord on this one. If we truly believe that the Catholic Church is the one true Church and the Roman Pontiff is the Vicar of Christ, then we believe that when he speaks "ex cathedra", it is INFALLIBLE. Thus, this teaching below is directly from God our Lord and CANNOT be changed or be ignored:
“The Most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, also Jews, heretics, and schismatics can ever be partakers of eternal life, but that they are to go into the eternal fire ‘which was prepared for the devil and his angels’ (Mt. 25:41) unless before death they are joined with Her… No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ can be saved unless they abide within the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.” -Pope Eugene IV, ex cathedra,

Ex cathedra declarations are only 2: about Mary, God's mother over the last 200 years. And these beliefs were already held by the people -- the sense of the faithful, so it was no problem. Encyclicals and sermons are meant to evolve as the Spirit reveals the Truth in time to the Church on earth.

*Roman priesthood is illegitimate. Consequently all roman sacraments.*

Our separation from God is a supernatural problem. No amount of our own work can get us there. Hence, we need a supernatural solution: the Sacraments. It's theoretically plausible that God can work outside the Sacraments (He is God, after all) to help those who have not received them. For instance, a person who wants to be baptized but is killed beforehand still is blessed for his desire for baptism.
How often does this happen? Well, God knows. Keep praying for the conversion of the whole world.

Yes my brother, that also reminds me of a certain theory that: Sin is brought about by a supernatural being like the devil, hence, it will take another super natural being to combat it. Any view in this matter?

      @@erningpaguirigan5831
Hello, brother! I believe the correct view is thus:
In a theological sense, the devil is not a supernatural being. He is a præternatural being. Only God is supernatural Being (hence there are certain miracles that God can do that the devil cannot, though there are things that the devil can do that we cannot). The devil used to be an angel, and still holds such præternatural powers (which are above the natural order). However, he is severely limited in what God allows him to do (in the restrictive, not moral, sense; when I say "allow", I mean in the sense God allows me to sin as opposed to restraining my will and stopping me from sinning, and not as though He morally approves of said actions). For instance, God will not let the demons tempt us beyond our ability to resist a temptation.
We sin because we are weak willed, let our disordered passions get ahold of us in this fallen world, and because we are tempted by the devil.
All good comes from God, and without God's help, we cannot go any long time without mortal sin. We need to recognize that when we avoid sin, it is the grace of God that lets this happen. His goodness shows forth like a spring; He is Love. It has been said that when we pray for grace, we receive it in that instant. We need to grow more in God so that He can grow in us, that we take in more and more Grace and do not shut His Grace out.
      God bless us, truly!

In the old covenant, there was both a universal priesthood that Peter is referring too, but also a ministerial priesthood (the tribe of Levi). Hebrews is saying the Levitical priesthood is no more, but it is not saying there is no ministerial priesthood in the new covenant. Once again, there's continuity between the new and the old, not abrogation. Jesus assumes the high priest job, believers have a common priesthood just like in the old covenant, and the high priest appoints a ministerial priesthood to assist him (just like Aaron did with the Levites). Jesus did this when he appointed some disciples as his 12 apostles, they became his ministerial assistants.

*Roman Catholicism Turns People Away From Christ*
The Roman Catholic Church counterfeits almost every work Christ does for Christians-thus turning people's attention from Jesus to something or someone else.
    1) It points people to church sacraments, turning them away from trusting in Christ alone.
    2) It emphasizes church tradition as the guide to life, turning them away from the Bible.
    3) It directs people to the priest as mediator, thus turning them away from Christ as mediator.
    4) It teaches people to pray to saints, thus turning them away from praying to God.
    5) It urges people to pray to Mary, as merciful, thus turning them away from praying to God, claiming Him to be harsh, unwelcoming, and unapproachable.
    6) It points to Peter as the Rock on which the church is based, thus turning them away from Christ as the true Rock.
    7) It directs people to popes as Pontiffs (bridge builders), thus turning people away from Christ as the only hope of salvation.
    8) It teaches people to do works of penance to gain God's favor, instead of accepting Christ's promises of forgiveness.
    9) It requires people to believe in Catholic doctrine and papal infallibility as their authority, thus rejecting the voice of God speaking to their conscience.
