This week I will definitely drink more water, I want to stretch/deep breath more throughout the day (I hold a lot of stress in my shoulder/neck area), take my vitamins every day, make my bed everyday (I know sounds weird but makes me feel better) and move more each day!
These are perfect habits to get you started! And yes making the bed that’s a great one!!! I will definitely add that to mine over the coming weeks!!! So glad we are sharing this journey!!
Mix the collagen flavour in your big hydro flask with water and drink it throughout the day. It entices you to drink lots of water throughout the day and it keeps the water cool in the flask, I do this everyday and have done for over 5 years and drink much more water because of it.
Hey Lisa. I just wanted to send you all the encouragement to you. And good for you for putting yourself first for a change. I personally don't have a weight issue, I guess it's all in our genetics. But just on the topic of your 'bald spot' the herb Rosemary helps with hair regrowth. You can buy oils or you can make your own spray and you spray just that particular area or you can spray the entire head. Now if you can grow your own Rosemary in a pot you can make your own spray and you at least know that the herb hasn"t been chemically sprayed. You just boil water and infuse the herb for 10 minutes or so, strain it and then place it in a spray bottle. ❤️

I’ll join you, Lisa. I’ve just ended up in hospital for not looking after myself. I’ve been absolutely shocking. Had back surgery last year after spending a year in agony and very immobile. After surgery I got into a rut and continued the lifestyle of no movement, up all night, barely any sleep and not eating. I would just make toast or eat rubbish if I got hungry. A few weeks ago I got terribly sick and my son who is a nurse told me I was having a DKA. (Google if unsure). I had never been diagnosed as diabetic so tried to argue with him but he wouldn’t have it. Took me to hospital where they diagnosed diabetes and a serious infection which caused the DKA. Endocrinologist told me I would have been dead by the next morning without treatment. Thank god for my son! So big lifestyle changes for me now. Won’t be easy but we can encourage each other. ❤

I have lots of back and leg pain due to an accident and I know if I could get the weight off it will help. I'm 39 and I definitely to start taking better care of myself. My skin needs help along with thinning hair. I just went a few weeks ago and bought some stuff and just haven't started using it yet( I know its ridiculous 🙃) At the end of the summer I got a treadmill at a yard sale for only $25 so I'm going to do the 30mins on that.... more water....vitamins.....skin care routine and definitely need more sleep so I'm gonna try to make a new relaxing but not complicated before bed routine. Make your own home bone broth FULL of collagen, add carrots, onions celery etc and drink when you want, you can also do chicken broth and make it into a low cal soup full of goodness. X
I like to use my cheap battery operated milk frother to mix up these types of cold drinks. Seems to dissolve power better especially in cold drinks. I need to work on a consistent sleep schedule and only eating when hungry (am I hungry or thirsty) and leveling up on healthier foods.

Oh Lisa you're so beautiful I mean it, inside and out but I hear you and I'm in the same boat I'm a short fatty, I started keto last week hubby went to hospital for cancer treatment I ended up with a cold felt like shit LOL and keto went out the window, but I'm back on track tomorrow I'm with you girl friend I want to walk around the block daily if it's not raining, I want to stop emotionally eating and I want to spend some quality time in my craft room < I tend to neglect this as I find other things to do like housework even when it's not needed. That's my three, I already only drink water during the day my weakness is chocolate and ice cream 🍦 😋 good luck Lisa and to everyone else who is getting on board xxx

Isnt all the cleaning the 30 minutes exercise? I think it does - as does my physio - all the bending, moving and scrubbing does raise your pulse for that little bit of cardio. Housework is all the exercise I can cope with. BUT IM so glad- coz..ive been on the same bender with the house (not intentionally with you...but youve been great encouragement), but I have to lose about 30kgs at least in weight for medical reasons.... i will try working out insta, but im not good with tech. I hope your videos will keepo me on track! I started a new and different habit last week, And that is to make up bowls a few days in advance, of pieces of raw carrots, celery, cauliflower, snow peas etc...and i MUST finish the bowl. It turned out harder than i thought even tho i love them...but itsboring. But including stuff thats VERY good, is a good way tostart - not removing things. Im mean..i do have a degree in nutrition and pathology....geez you would think i have this sorted. But im very immobile from spinal and leg and foot injury. And ive gained too much weight, and im miserable. So awesome!!
Oh 100% cleaning counts.....any activity where you're moving your body counts cause it will all make a difference. And meal prepping like you have been doing is fantastic and makes it easy when you are starving to grab something healthy already prepared rather than junk food. maybe try to find some different sauces you enjoy to dip your veggies in, to keep it interesting for you, maybe one day try a chilli sauce or mayonnaise style sauce and mix it up that way. Thats exactly right focus on the good stuff you can eat rather than all the stuff you shouldn't.

I totally agree with this and also rub castor oil in the scalp but not too much as its very thick
