Remember: this is not prime Havel, he does not use miracles, despite the fact that he invented some, like Anti Magic Barrier. Gideon was lucky to even live that long

DS3 Havel is just DS1 Havel but nerfed.
Havel is arguably the strongest NPC in DS3, and it shows here. Despite Dark Souls bosses outright struggling sometimes, here comes NPC Havel bonking his way to four great runes... with no heals, spells, or ranged attacks of any kind. And he's also getting grabbed and tossed around like a ragdoll while he's doing it, which is more impressive.
What an absolute unit. He better be a spirit ash in this mod!

Npcs usually have the immunity to survive the meteor.
@@mewxtherealitygod4706 No, they just dodge it, Npocs can and will be one hit killed by Radahn's meteor if you aren far away enough from the landing zone because they take a while to start following you.

I'm not terribly surprised. Havel's Armor has massive Physical and Fire Defense (which are the two types of damage the meteor does) and his shield also passively increases Fire Defense even when worn on the back.
I knew from the beginning he was going to get absolutely fucked by later-game bosses. Havel is ultimately a slow tank, and Elden Ring is a game which absolutely does _not_ want players playing tanky against later bosses. The endgame is one long Vigor check. Still, the fact that he did as well as he did is a testament to how much of an absolute slab Havel really is. If his AI was better at dodging, he would have cleaned house.
Melania is proof of that fact lol. Even if you COULD tank her, she then heals off of hitting you. Hate that boss lol

So he more or less caps out at Radahn/Morgott, that's actually not bad from a lore perspective as Havel is only Human. Morgott and Radahn are Demi-Gods. Some of the most powerful, feared, and respected figures in the setting.
I want to see the king of the parrys holy knight hodrick, or halflight spear of the church and champion gravetender and the gravetender greatwolf.
If K***ht Hodrick is the king then Anri is the queen, during Sulyvahn she'll just throw out a parry randomly saving my ass

Havel was always my favorite npc in the dark souls games so this is really neat. Be cool to see how the other npc's of elden ring fare against him. Thanks for the video.👍
He's a boulder with legs and his preferred weapon is a dragon tooth, Havel was the "hold my siegbrau, I got this" man of Fromsoft. Fighting him is literally bashing your head against a rock hoping it will break. Brings back fond memories seeing this.

@@RedHotChiliPepper31 i didnt mean the entire fight. I meant how his AI handled the waterfowl. Instead of charging in he defended/dodged really well.
Havel traveled to the Lands Between, to search for dragons to slays, cause all their kind were purged after the events of DS3.

The dragon tooth grands the welder fire and magic resistance and wears armor made of literal rock thats very resistant to all types of magic... And yet he's also being tossed around like a ball that's being thrown back and forth between a father and his son

It's almost like someone designed tons of good armor, then designed a bunch more armor while being overly careful not to recreate any armor from the first set, which severely limited their choices because that first set covered a wide variety of great designs and archetypes, leaving only a bunch of weird, overdesigned garbage for the second set.
@aprinnyonbreak1290 Elden Ring really fumbled a lot of the armour designs. They're no where near as cool looking as ds2 and 3 which is such a shame.

Poise does work in ds3 it’s just that it isn’t passive anymore like in ds1 so you can’t brain dead chug through enemy attacks and r1 spam
@@rigorm136 Poise was unnoticeable in DS3 or DS2. There is no incentive to wear heavy armor.
@@Crestfallen_Warrior Pick up a heavy weapon, i.e. a greataxe, ultragreatsword, greatsword, or greathammer and wear any armor set with more than 30 poise and while you are attacking you will not be staggered out of your attack.
@@rigorm136 Oh, then suddenly my armor does something? But when I'm swinging my puny dagger around, the armor acts as if it weren't there. It just doesn't make sense. I'm a damn boulder! No simple hollow should be able to make me flinch with a broken shortsword.

@@Thegoodhunter225 I'd rather not have that, the original stats should never be changed for video purposes unless they hit there limit.
I like seeing the data of what they can do before they get charged around. Dark Eater Midier never got buffed and he cleaned house, until he hit bosses with high holy resistance which is interesting because that means Dark was changed to Holy from DS3 to Elden Ring.

Havel lost his will to win after the fire giant. he also had trouble locking onto the enemies from the giant onward. he sank like the Rock he is.

Bosses have the edge until Havel decides to 2-hand.
It's interesting that he can beat all the bosses up to the Morgott but after that he losses against the rest of the bosses (except Gideon). If anyone puts him in ER via mod I hope they take note of this and place him in the mountain top
All bosses they say, where was the one against the ulcerated tree spirits, or the cemetery shade, OR EVEN ERDTREE AVATARS

He completely destroys no diff. Because there's no stance mechanics to nerf him in Dark Souls 3
@@Vengeance_Im Some DS3 bosses can be defeated due to the fact that Elden's bosses are easier to knock off balance. Especially the likes of Midir, Gael, Frieda, and the Nameless King.
@@user-lc9cv6th7y well if modder does justice to Maliketh, he still destroys all of these bosses. Since Maliketh in Elden Ring is too fast for DS3 bosses to attack, he can jump on walls, Maliketh also has highest damage in Elden Ring because of Destined Death percentage damage, so again I don't see how DS3 bosses have a chance against him unless modder nerfs Maliketh
