For anyone woundering why the arrows hit so damn hard, please know, those arrows were the 'waterfowl' of Dark Souls 3. Even if you know how to douge it, it can and will eat you alive.
sadly, it doesn't make sense that Aldrich survived three Nihils since it is a percentage-based attack, and I know for a fact that he doesn't have enough bleed resistance for it to soften the blood procs. they had to have messed with mohgs nihil here or something.
Aldrich to Radahn: "I hear you are the one who plagiarized my patented Arrow attack" Radahn: "Yeah? So what are you gonna do about it Sludgepile?" Aldrich: "I will make you eat those words"
To be fair, it seems like the only time she was in danger from the arrow rain was when she summoned the wolves at the end, she'd get staggered and knocked down too easily by that attack and get some i-frames, but because she is immune to stagger during summons, she ended up taking the whole thing.
Really just depends how merciful the ai is feeling, I remember seeing a good few Aldrich v bosses fights where he would just spam it like he's saying "I ain't in the mood for this shit, you die now"
Yeah for example he only did it once during the Gideon fight and then just chose to spam melee attacks and Lifehunt Scythe on him for the rest of the match
This totally showcases just how OP a. Aldrich’s arrow attack is and B. What a huge difference it made for Elden Ring to allow bosses to be posture broken from any position, while in DS3 it was body-part dependent.
I've seen a gamer fight using the Destruction Meteor before. As a result, Malenia used Waterfowl almost ten times. She was elated after finally defeating Malenia. But after watching the CG, she went completely crazy@@Akd6869
Ok i never expected that 10:38. I am shocked and impressed by their performance. Do the arrows do magic damage, cant really find any info online about it?
Aldrich took a shit ton of damage from Rennala despite having like 80% magic resistance, i assume it works differently in Elden ring. It is also kinda astonishing how much poise damage his tiny blasts can do, enough to easily knock down most dragons.
I think some of those bosses had bad rng. Mohg using no ranged attacks, Godfrey not starting with the axe throw and not using his rock buster attack, Astel just overall behaving weird. Also we didn't get the godskins.
Thats all the good da3 good bosses dobe for boss 1v1s. Whats your next boss to port into er? Would love demon of hatred but hes gna be hard to do as its sekiro.

Dude I like your vids, but this is is just mad suspicious - beast clergyman always gets folded within seconds in bvb , but here he brought aldritch down to 30% health, _just in time_ for him to use his arrow attack _right when maliketh phase appears_ . Yeah sure. Normally the fight would go like this- beast clergy gets folded before even bringing him to 60% health, and maliketh would appear and with a very high probablity kill him before he gets to use his arrow attack. So how many times did you run this fight for this outcome? Considering the poise damage and damage aldritch deals ,unless you did like 50 rounds, or outright modded aldritch to be passive (he wasn't spamming magic attacks against beast clergy for some reason like he did with other bosses.) there is no way beast clergyman, with his low damage and poise can go that far against aldritch. Also Mohg's nihil is supposed to deal 130% of a healthbar- a instant one shot against single phase bosses.
one round. If only I could do more rounds. I could have him defeat the Fire Giant as well. Also, he has bleeding damage reduction. 130%nihil is impossible.
Those arrows have to be the most powerful attack in any fromsoft game, it does a ton of damage, tracks, and he can do it as many times in a fight as he likes.
First time I was cheering for Malenia in a bvb ngl, still, Aldritch sure had a feast. Malenia's super armor might be as ridiculous as her lifesteal honestly.
I imagine what the mirror knight would look like here, he would summon npcs or summons like knights who died in the war like redmanes, cuckoos, etc. I'm left with this question now, which one would be better?
YTB transcoding speed is very slow. It will take at least half an hour. He told me that SD was completed. But after sending it out, it still seems to be only 360P.
Twin Princes are pretty strong actually, watch "DS3 - Gael vs Bosses part 2" from Pantagana and you'll see the Twin Princes were the only boss (and Yhorm) of the main game that took Gael into phase 3, not even Nameless King was able to do that, and the twins got close to beating Gael than even Sister Friede got.
That's just the difference between Elden Ring and Dark Souls bosses. Elden Ring bosses do more damage but get poise broken super easily. A lot of Dark Souls bosses have insanely high poise and do ridiculous poise damage because the developers didn't want players to be able to just tank through their attacks. As a result it makes heavy armor and poise practically useless against end game bosses...which is why all the "pros" just fight bosses naked with a bleed weapon. A perfect example of how dark souls poise damage works is Midir who literally does max poise damage at 999 for half his attacks. It's extremely punishing to fat/strength builds and forces you to dodge. At least in dark souls 1 poise could keep you from getting stunlocked by bullshit attacks and attack/cast through boss moves. I would say Elden Ring is a lot easier than Dark Souls simply because of the bosses having less poise. The reason everyone sucks at Malenia is because they can't poise break her 10 times a fight like Morgott and Placidusax, and everything else due to her hyperarmor. Dark Souls veterans struggled a lot less on Malenia because they were already used to dodging everything in DS3. Also, Dark Souls bosses like Midir are immune to all status effects...so no bleed, no frostbite, and no other overpowered bullshit gimmicks are effective against them. You literally just have to dodge them and do enough damage. Personally, I like the direction Elden Ring went as it's more fun than dodging constantly and sneaking a few hits in, but I do wish the bosses had double the poise at least so I wouldn't be staggering Morgott every 3-4 hits or knocking down Placidusax so easily.
That's a perfect example of why Dark Souls is a much harder game than Elden Ring. You're forced to dodge and can't stunlock bosses or tank their attacks. Midir literally does 999 poise damage for half his attacks since the devs didn't want players to be able to tank through his attacks. I love Elden Ring, but I find it ridiculous how easily you can stagger bosses like Morgott, Elden Beast, Placidusax, etc.

Just keep running. Hated this fucker. He’s as strong as full-strength Ranni right?
It was a lot easier than waterfowl dance tho
Literally how to avoid it.
First phase: step to the left so that the arrows won’t hit you
Second phase: RUN
Godskin duo: *skinning a god*
Aldrich: you gonna eat that?
Aldrich: "I'm the Devourer of Gods"
Rykard: "TOGETHAAA!!"

Except Aldrich's isn't fake news like Rykard, the god devouring serpant only ate a demigod, Aldrich ate an actual god.
😂😂 true
Gideon: A man can not kill a god.
Aldrich: I'll just eat them
Rykard and Aldrich are more likely to be friends than enemies.
That Mohg steamroll with the arrows was savage: barely surviving the Nihil and just liquefying the omen

incredible how Renala endured all the magic arrows, she has very good defense against magic
The rng gods were really on malenias side today

Right? Astel loves spamming his range attacks but for some reason he kept swinging his arms. Like what?????
