Malenia vs the Slave Knight was perfect since it's Maestro against Gladiator. Matchless Swordsmaster against hardened Juggernaut. Both are particularly known for their strength of will, and their loyal service to the only one who loves them. The ending was utterly poetic, and evoked the feeling of a legendary old knight going into his last battle against an awakened god, giving her the fight of her immortal life with what's left of his strength before he is finished off by a coup de grâce.
What I love about Gael is that he has to be the most fair but challenging boss From has created. There is no bullshit moves and over the top anime AOE's like in Elden Ring.

The video is awesome: Gael is my favorite boss throughout the whole souls series. Also can you make a Phase3 Gael original scaling & same area scaling vs malenia? Feel like if Gael is phase 3 for the whole time, with the scaling bonus it’s likely that he’ll beat malenia even with healing

@@goddesssalem4842 yes because He was nerfed to shit, and the scaling of gael is much higher then radahn He is on the malekith Level of scaling, and even with that Radahn Held up pretty good
If Gael starts of phase3, he could probably solo everyone in the lands between. That phase 3 damage and stagger output is insane and helped him clutch through late game bosses (exceptions being malenia ofc)
Gael is super weak to status effects, like poison and toxic and bleed, and he can actually be cheesed in Dark Souls 3 with bleed or toxic very easily. So realistically, Mohg and especially Malenia would procc him very easily.
Love that Rennala blasted him with her signature opening glintstone beam and then Gael shredded her in turn with his machine gun crossbow. Truly, he is worthy of being an Elden Lord.
The tracking on malikeths attacks are such utter garbage- the attack at 12:23 missed Gael even though he was standing right before him - and it would have won Maliketh the match. Which shitty intern did they hand over Maliketh's ai to program lmao😭
Gael beat most of the Elden Ring bosses with only 15k HP, just by having insane defense & reduction/absorption to any damage type going at him - a 1000 dmg attack from Fire Giant only translate to 700-800 dmg on Gael. also, his 98 poise is not that impressive, but his poise recovery is fast enough it seems he wasnt staggered at all. his only bad match up is the Godskin Duo, due to probably the black flame shredding his HP regardless of his defense; and its still a surprise that he nearly beat them too. against Maliketh, lets say that his RNG helped him this time, as Destined Death shreds apart his HP even quicker than black flame. i cant believe Gael tanked the whole Rancor of Rykard and nearly bring him down with him. against Malenia, well she is Malenia, she is full of bullshits. still, Gael was able to make do with his feeble Dark Souls 3 stats instead of Haglitree area scaling - when he switch to the same area stat scaling as Malenia, he nearly beat her too. that top level defense against Rot probably helped.
Boss I'm interested in seeing have a go is Yhorm. Immune not just to status effects but completely to _fire_ as well, has the largest amount of HP of all the bosses too I think, more than Gael and Midir I know, and high damage absorption in the legs and torso. His attacks are simple though. I don't know how much damage he can deal. He can can be stunned out of attacks and even completely poise broken. And if any enemy manages to get him in the arms or worse the head, if it's something besides fire then that's a significant hit to him. As long as the bosses aren't made to autotarget the head or something then that might be a good watch. Not a boss people like too well but he's built well for these sorts of crossover battles. Much more so than say Sister Friede whose biggest problem is being able to be infinitely stunlocked. ER bosses would be knocking her out of every other attack she'd attempt to do (she could be given poise of sorts of course, Malenia-style startup hyperarmor for some attacks? I just remember seeing the video with the Silver Knights fighting her and she could not get a single attack out because she was forever stunlocked by the arrow barrage, something you can't quite do to Malenia because of those instant startup hyperarmor attacks of hers like waterfowl etc.)

"I NEED HELP!!!"
he was like "shut yo bitch ass up"
His AI seems much better here not broken like those other videos
The way he just walks right through Godrick's fire at the start of phase 2 is the epitome of badass
I'm glad to see a fight between a DS3 boss and an ER boss without a stun effect every three hits that gives the DS3 boss an advantage.
The superstun stuff is mostly just Midir and Nameless King. The rest do more reasonable poise damage. Except for maybe Dragonslayer Armour.
They do get stunned too just not to same extent. Its mostly the loud ass thunk noises makes it sound so bad lol.
ER bosses have way lower poise than in Ds3 though. Buffing up their poise would be giving the er bosses an advantage they shouldn't have.
May have not been about to beat Malenia. But he was worthy to become Elden Lord
Doesn't need to have lot of bullshit to be good and challenging
Easy top 3 along with Ludwig and Isshin, maybe Malikwth/Godfrey for top 4
Ahh! Every Soul has its Dark.
I love watching these and thinking "holy shit, we fought that?"
Yes...I beat him once with that magic pixel of heath left by the end and no healing the slave knight is the goat
Gael I always say was my hardest fight. Before they nerfed Radahn into meme levels I used to say he was.
@@Slay_No_Morestar scrouge radahn was never nerfed lol, it was a fix that tuned down the broken hitboxes
@@Asimi12 he was nerfed the first few months after release, astronomically such.
For whatever reason there's a common misconception it was just a projectile and hitbox nerf, while it's true, they also turned down his aggression, attack speed, projectile tracking, movement chances and other things that never got rolled back, he's still a husk of his former self.
Ring city dragon was WAY worse
Maliketh, mohg and malenia gave me chills
i think people forget his kill count before meeting the ashen one is literally the whole living population of the world, and that in order to fulfill his quest you need to go back in time to before he got big
I've never been one for these types of videos, but good lord do I love watching Dark Souls Bosses kill the hell out of Elden Ring bosses.
Really sick video, would love to see Midir fighting the elden ring bosses - though I suppose he wouldn't fit in a few of the boss rooms, the ones that you could see would be amazing. Dragonlord Placidusax or the Elden Beast vs Midir would be sick
Malenia: I have never known defeat.
Gael: I have known constant loss
What I love about Gael is that he has to be the most fair but challenging boss From has created. There is no bullshit moves and over the top anime AOE's like in Elden Ring.
The slow stomps towards Gideon followed by the inevitable interruption was so awesome
Gael using those Way of White Coronas like that at the end of the Astel fight was something so insanely accurate ONLY an AI could do... It was perfection
The multi hit at the end of that fight was from his crossbow
We need more gael vs malkieth , that fight looks extremely 50/50
They're both inspired by Kentaro Miura's, Guts from Berserk so them both being a perfect 50/50 is about right.
@@lizrengaming5133so is miquella and radahn
Alternative title: Mall santa’s bizarre adventure, painter’s crusade
30:05 Gael finishing off Gideon with ring of light was ironic and really funny 😂
5:15 this sequence is unreal, looks amazing in slowmo
2:48 walking forward through a kamehameha stream is the most savage thing ever
*"The Everlasting Dragons hit harder than that, Boy."*
incredible how well you ported every asset into elden ring, waiting for a soul of cinder perfect port!!
2:00 slave knight skywalker slaughtering the younglings
He has the high soul
29:49 Slave Knight Skywalker destroying a guy with the high ground
It is because Gideon underestimated his power
15:42 That's the best moment.
Can't wait for the other bosses done in your ways like soul of cinder and nameless King. and as well for more coming like yhorm in the next year considering how big you are doing in this battles and putting a lot of effort to making them great and awesome.
I am so happy that Gael didn’t die to Radahn’s meteor
Everyone gangsta till The mall santa pulls out The
crossbow minigun.
5:33 but for Real nice finish!
Godrick: I am the lord of all that is golden!
Gael: I'm a dlc boss.
Godrick:shit...
I've been curious for a long time now. If the highest scaling in ER is 7.4 roughly for Haligtree roots, what's the numerical scaling for the Ringed city and how much lower is it?
imo these videos are so much cooler then watching elden ring bosses fight elden ring bosses
no destined death no rot no bleed no OP shit and he destroyed the fire giant. this is how great bosses look
edit: holy shit that fight with maliketh was awesome
😂 ah yeah... and no ds3 insane stun values transferred directly to elden ring 😂 That's not OP at all... to render the target defenceless for a whole 10 seconds every 5 seconds😂 how not OP at all😂😂😂
He has busted af damage resistances/absorption and basically no poise, when are you guys going to understand that the strongest bosses will *ALWAYS* have some sort of gimmick.
@@virael3801you can still stagger the man even in base game.
That aerial combo at 31:38 where he goes for Godfrey’s blind spot is so sick
Need to see Best of 5 of Gael vs Godfrey. Both of them looked like they’re fighting evenly. (Also both are two of my favourite bossfights Fromsoft has made)
I loved how Maliketh killed him while he was just staggered before he died.
Walking through the moon beam like Broly through the Kamehameha wave holy shit that was sick
minute 31:39 it's fantastic!!!!! to see Gael take that Turn in the Air to hit Goofrey. That beautiful movement moment is worthy of a movie😮😮😮😮😮😮

Yoooo the Godfrey and Gael syncronized AOE was amazing lmao
16:04 Gael just casually tanking like a chad the Astel laser beam lmao
Gael straight up said "let's both be in phase 2" with Radahn
Gideon running his mouth while Gael stalks up to him has a certain type of "in over your head and you don't even realize it" energy.
Dude literally made Gideon stand in the corner.
Maliketh , fire giant , godfrey , and Mohg fought superbly ! Also Godskin duo battle is worth mentioning !
He somehow wasn't even at his full power throughout all of that slaughter.
That only happens if he is immune to rot and can't get poise broken. Malenia would be nerfed hard in the fight.
5:46 the best and most fair fight ive seen
Enters Maliketh's boss room.
Thou who approachith, Destined Death.
Yes. Hand it over. That thing; your Destined Death.
Gideon: I am all knowing!!
Gael: quiet child. I’ve forgotten more than you’ve ever learned
Its crazy how fast malekith shredds bosses
But respect to Radahn He gave gael a Real fight
And gael vs godfrey was awsome, 2 giga chads who kick the hell out of each other
I know. Two iconic souls gilfs in the heat of battle, rubbing up against each other. It was so hot.
Radahn got to be the worst boss I've ever seen, weak and always losing
@@goddesssalem4842 yes because He was nerfed to shit, and the scaling of gael is much higher then radahn He is on the malekith Level of scaling, and even with that Radahn Held up pretty good
Nah Radahn just has one simple unfair attack
@@Vengeance_I_m Ur opinion He has 0 unfair moves
28:51 that walk looks crazy
That attack has a predetermined position, it's not meant to track the player.
morgott dodges and slide slice was so clean
4:50 was awesome, Morgott straight up ‘running through the bamboo’ dodging those bolts
Gael vs radahn is absolute cinema
