    i always heard to never use brake cleaner on anything but metal, wouldn't soap and water be better to clean the dirt out of the filter housing?

      Partzilla I was looking for oil for a 1999 Polaris Sportsman 335 and an oil filter

      Jason, the recommended oil for your Sportsman 335 is 0w40 Syn. We have Yamalube 0w40 syn that would work great. www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/yamaha/YP-LUB-00W40-FS-12.html

    Why did you skip the part when you reinstall the wing nut with the bolt in it. How do you hold the inner nut in place?

    Meh! Just shake the water out good and reinstall it. The engine will dry it out in about 90 seconds. Tiny bit of water vapor won't hurt it a bit. Water injection!

    KLR 650's are not dirtbikes. They're dual sport bikes. Get it right!
