Hi i have installed same Unit in my 2005 Honda Accord , regarding climate control everything is working fine but back window defroster is not working and it doesn't heat up back window. Can you please help me with that is there any setting to do fix this. waiting for your comment.
The touch screen function for the a/ c does not respond. The control buttons work.
I reconnected all inputs and removed others not being utilized. It worked afterwards.
Is the 8888 code used to unlock like a secret settings menu? I have the same radio but my center vents aren't blowing just the sides and defroster I have a 03 accord coupe single zone ac btw any advice?
@Felix Medina make sure you used the correct ac harness

@@Swi2thMummbles the speaker harnesses,I didn't need, even the camera one. Only left the needed a/c. I reconnected to make certain it was fit. Everything begun to respond afterwards.
Where do you mount the USB connectors & the mini input jack? My 2005 Honda Accord EX does not have USB, Bluetooth, Dual AC & Navigation just the 6 CD OEM radio.

Does the rear parking sensor still work?
The AC buttons don't work. I can only control the AC through the touch screen. Any suggestions?
Debating one of these.....out of interest how is it holding up now 1 year later? Has it crashed or had any other issues? Also, trying to understand why you didn't get heat until you moved it to F. Canadian here, so I'd want to keep in it in C but would obviously want both heat and cool depending on the temp I set/the temp outside.
I've had the xtrons head unit for about a year now and it recently started glitching like crazy. Do you run into any glitching issues? ex. climate controls self operating, carplay display staying dark but audio continuing when wired connection is connected,

Great video. Thinkinh on getting. I see a lot of other videos with the same radio but none mention the microphone and where it goes? Does this come with a microphone or has a built in one when you use your phone when you need to talk?
I have a similar one to this, and had a previous aftermarket radio that had a microphone for bluetooth phone call functionality. Teere's an input jack in the harness labeled "mic", so you connect a microphone there, it's not that the unit has an actual mic on it, just the ability to connect one to it.
I would read the reviews on this, it messes with your factory climate control unit.
I was wondering how well it controls the ac blower. I had a different touch screen head unit that even on the lowest setting it blew way too hard.
I bought this unit based on your recommendation over the less expensive similar units. His has none of the logos, the ac UI does nothing and displays nothing, no ability to customize the Home Screen,and the additional settings you have aren’t there. It’s a 2006 Accord did you upload a firmware change or update of some sort???
How good is the DSP feature?
What camera did you get? I bought the wireless car auto one, and is super good.
Which one? I can't figure out the wiring mine is saying no signal and makes a buzz when I have it plugged into the reverse light. Does this unit support 1080p video for reverse? Xtron recommends 720p cam but the unit is 1080p. My camera is 1080p so maybe that's it? I changed the settings and all it did was bring up a picture of a car like a cartoon looking car like wtf man can't figure this out.
Anyone had their phone unpair & now refusing to pair?? It shows my phone as a USABLE DEVICE, but now won’t pair
can it survive in the super cold winter temperature like -30C?

It sounds as tho it doesn't change the vent door inside your dash. These cars do not have factory dual climate control so this function will not operate the climate control properly. They need to make a unit that has single climate control functions to match the factory settings.
I just put wifi in my car so im trying to figure out how to update the radio because it shows its connected but it still wont get online like it used to when i 1st got it. I went without wifi in the car for a about a year so I'm thinking its out dated.

Hi, I change the temperature unit from C to F. And it is still blowing out cold or room temperature air. And I set my CAN type to 75 and tried single or double mode. But I’m not really receiving any heat.
Even when you change the knobs to heat? All the way
I fixed it! Turned out I didn’t need to use the extra two green square plug. I just used the plug that was provided in the car

@@TechReviewsTV Thanks. I just emailed the customer support for xtrons. Hopefully they can guide me in the right direction. Also, which usb cable will work for the carplay? The mirrorlink or the unlabeled one? I have a carplay adapter to install in mine and i'm just trying to figure it out first haha. Thanks!
@@accordmods sounds like the mirror link cable should work, you can always test it before you reinstall it back into its spot.

I have 3 issues with my Xtrons head unit. I have single zone climate. 1. Power button only mutes/unmutes sound. 2. Touch controls for climate do not work and image is for right-hand drive. 3 there is an orange and white connector that is attached to the can bus harness that connects to nothing. Where should that be connected?

1:31 mine does not do that when I press the turn up fan. Also, the home screen on mine does not look like yours.
4:32 on boot logo as well, I dont have those logos. Is there like additional stuff I have to do to have those?
You bought the wrong one then you brought a cheaper option for the radio all the models look the same but are made by different manufacturers. Xtron is the one you should have which cost almost $300
@@beastwithredpill mine is android 12 probably why it’s a different Home Screen. I reach to xtrons as well about the logos, and they said they removed those car brands due to copyrights issues.

I honestly haven’t used it as much but on start up sometimes it starts on auto and goes to the highest setting
@@TechReviewsTV oh okay I see its because the auto parameters for the climate control unit of that car actually was part of the original radio head unit.
What radio you had originaly? You had the one with navigation or the basic radio?

and possible to tell if u have zlink app link to connect carplay i can’t connect carplay with this unit

I just installed this today (version 12) & I do not have ANY car logo options for the boot up screen. Only 4 random android ones.
I just got the new android 12 version today also I will be doing a comparison video of it later on this month. I’ll give you direct instructions when I install it tomorrow
@@TechReviewsTVthat would be greatly appreciated because the interface & the wiring diagrams are all different from what I see here. On screen AC controls are 50/50 as well. As of now, I like the version shown here best.

Hi I have Honda Accord LX 2004, single climate control unit. I have tried two units, one from awesafe which gave no sound, second one from Junsun in which fan/ac worked for a day and then it wouldn't work (radio worked). Is it my luck or these units are hit or a miss, or do you recommend any.
Where is the control panel lighting adjustment? I don't see them lite.
When you have your headlights turned on it turns them on and the color you chose

@@SpicyE827 90% of them are user error they either buy the wrong one for the wrong car completely or something like that. I’ve had 5 of these units from multiple companies and each one has never had any issues

Talking with your hands in front of the stereo, waving in front of the camera, is massively distracting.
I know and it kept making the camera out of focus, if anything just watch the 1 year version I don’t do that in that one (I don’t think)
