Just to add. I myself had a super childlike hairline. Got on TRT at 26. Went from a 0 Norwood to a solid Norwood 1.5/2. I took finastride from the get go. Even with an extremely low DHT level, I was still shedding at the temples pretty quickly. I stopped TRT, and my hair has stopped shedding/receding, however the thinness in the corners of my scalp is still apparent. I was only on 90mg a week, and had a total T level of 970. If you’re worried about your hair… maybe think twice. // don’t go above 800 total
Why did you need TRT at 26? Were you stacking with steroids for competition? 900 is high, though what was your free T? Also, how high was your dose per week?
This conflicts with what you said in you video about if creatine accelerates hair loss. In that video you said creatine increases DHT levels but does not accelerate hair loss because it doesn’t raise the DHT levels in the scalp, it only increases in the circulating blood but it won’t diffuse to the scalp because the scalp naturally has 5-10X the amount of circulating DHT. So if this is true, it shouldn’t matter if trt raises DHT
Creatine & trt are 2 different pathways .. effectively remapping your bodies chemistry. Just because creatine gives u a small boost in ACUTE test/ dht and you’ll be fine, doesnt mean trt which is chronically keeping T & dht lvls Elevated for days will do the same
Hi Matt, I had a hair transplant about a year and half ago, I am noticing hair fall, even though I do many daily treatments to protect my hair. I am think of using finasteride, could I use 0.5mg daily? Will that be enough to block the DHT and Maintain my hair?
hey matt, does finasteride loses its effectiveness over time? i have been on it for over 10 yrs and its not as effective as it used to be. maybe time to try dutasteride? what u think?
Hello Matt hope you’re well. Matt, will sustanon 250 cause MPB? And, can I take sustanon 250 and finastride so that I will reap the benefits of being on sustanon simultaneously maintaining my hair? Thank you Matt.
I just got on finasteride about a month ago. I’m also on minoxidil. My hair loss has slowed down I believe. Would adding topical be overkill?? January will also be a year since I got my hair transplant.
Hey Mattdominance :) Can you make a video about Mesotherapy and tell about 1) what it is, 2) how is working, 3) the evidens about mesotherapy/the benefits?
I did a video on mesotherapy in conjunction with topical Dutasteride. Mesotherapy in itself is like microneedling. Its effectiveness will be potentiated by an effective topical product. If you don't have a potent topical, then mesotherapy may not be successful for hair loss management.
Find a doctor that can perscribe you a minoxidil/finasteride topical spray, and use it twice a day, buy the derminator online and combine the treatments
Do you feel like the minoxidil usage for your beard effected your hair negatively? I would like to try it but I’m scared of losing scalp hair since there is a lot of anecdotal opinions that it might thin the hair out after using it. I’m also on finasteride so that might prevent it, what do you think?
Unfortunately I haven't tracked it before when I was using Minoxidil for my beard. But I don't see any reason why it would make your hair thin if you use it for beard.
Yea dude minoxidil will go systemic meaning your topical hair will shed faster. That doesn’t mean youre gonna go bald its just shedding at a faster rate. Ive been using it on my face for almost 3 yrs and my beard is full and the hair on my head still sheds alot BUT im not bald. I stopped putting minoxidil on my face for about a month and the hair on my head felt full and thick. So yes once you stop using minoxidil on your face your hair will recover.
hey matt i do have a question. i do have 90 ml of stemoxydine how much of oral finasteride should i put to the 90 ml to make it 0.25% topical finasteride ? if i want to use 1 ml 3 times a week i am 19 years old and i am realy afraid to take it oraly
Guys, I'm looking for positive experiences here. I started microdosing finasteride and now I have dizziness. I am only 3 weeks in. I had anxiety, ED and brain fog in the starting weeks but now they are gone. I do not know what to do about dizziness. Please help
Simple question nobody seems to answer: With topical finasteride along with trt, will total systemic DHT levels be higher than prior to using both substances?
@@PeteFarce HCG mimics LH which in turn increases intratesticular testosterone while also preventing atrophy. Kisspeptin-10 is a peptide that also does the same thing but in a different way because it works at the top of the hormonal cascade causing the body to produce both LH and FSH. Any time you take exogenous testosterone you shut down production of LH and FSH which in turn shuts down intratesticular testosterone and testicular function. This in turn stops the upstream hormones from being produced hence the reason why men on TRT should always take either HCG or Kisspeptin-10 otherwise they risk a decrease in other hormones such as pregnenolone. Problem with TRT is that it drives your SHBG down thus even 100mg of T per week will yield an dramatic increase of Free Testosterone which will cause miniaturization and shedding regardless of nuking your DHT. Without a Topical Anti-Androgen like RU or CB and Fluridil it's a lost battle.

thanks for sharing your experience! I also think that most of the guys who use TRT should be fine on the big 3 hair loss protocol with potential use of Dutasteride.
