    I really wish ACE had videos like this. They advocate understanding client's different learning styles but only offer one learning style to their trainers. I'm a visual learner. I can understand through reading but it really sticks when I'm able to see it!

    Thank you do much, have been waiting for someone to do this. I can read it all I want, but if it's shown in video demos on the test, I feel more comfortable knowing what the compensations look like, rather than guessing.😉

    Regarding the raised leg component ,(hip hiking of the stance leg). Have u researched on it to find out on the underactive muscles , or we can assume tat it since unable to do posterior tilt, it’s the hip extensors tat are underactive/weak.

    • @rebelwithadream3303
      @rebelwithadream3303  3 роки тому

      If hip is hiking, it also means it's going into adduction. Therefore adductors are getting tight and abductors (glutes - which is also hip extensor) are weak.

    • @ivanwendy
      @ivanwendy 3 роки тому

      Tjnx for d answer. Jus wana clarify hip adductor muscles are listed as pblmg,( pectineus brevis, longus, magnus, gracilis) and hip abduction muscles are ( tfl, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus and bicep femoris). Correct?

      I gave my exam on September 2019. I passed and english is not my first language either. The way they word the questions on the exam is a little tricky I must say. However, if your concepts are strong, you will pass. Just put in the work Natalia. Give your best in the preparation. Leave the rest to fate and luck 👍🙂

    Any exercises, stretches or asanas you would recommend to lengthen and strengthen the muscles for 2 & 3 i.e. Knee valgus and Hips. It is also impossible for me to do the Archer or Cossack squats.

    Brutha thank you so much for all the info. I've been watching your video alot lately preparing to write my exam in june. I have a question on youtube theres the ace personal trainer test client interviews and assessment flash cards test! I been watching too. But it seems way too easy! Is test anywhere accurate to the actual ace fitness exam? Thank u

    • @rebelwithadream3303
      @rebelwithadream3303  4 роки тому

      If you bought the course from ACE, you get two practice tests with the package. They are good. If you score well in those, you have a very good chance of clearing the actual exam. Also there is this website called www.tests.com. I had purchased their 750 questions + answers kit. I didn't get exact questions from there on the exam, but it was good for practice and helpful to know which areas I lacked or required more preparation.

    At 5:23 you said knee is deviating from sagittal plane...but it is frontal plain I guess 🤔

    • @rebelwithadream3303
      @rebelwithadream3303  4 роки тому

      I had this same confusion while studying. In the book it's given "knee deviating from sagittal plane". I could be wrong, but my guess is, if you look from the side (sagittal view), the knee goes sideways instead of straight up while raising the leg/knee.

      @@vamsipatnaik6184 Knee raise and Hip flexion, Hip Extension, Shoulder Flexion, Shoulder Extension, they all happen in the sagittal plane. So, my guess is, if you view from the side (sagittal plane), the knee is deviating during the knee raise/ Hip Flexion. That's what they probably meant when they mentioned knee deviating from the sagittal plane. (Table 7.10);

    Bro in the first point the weakness is in posterior tibialis...is that anterior or posterior

    • @rebelwithadream3303
      @rebelwithadream3303  4 роки тому

      "Posterior" Tibialis. If you do a quick google search about "fixing flat feet", you will see most physiotherapist working on Strengthening the posterior tibialis group to stabilize the feet and reduce Pronation, etc.

      I didn't make ch 12 and 13 Because there will be zero questions from those two chapters in exam. So I didn't make any notes even for myself on those two chapters during my own preparation. You can read those chapters for knowledge but not important from exam Point of view.
