I like how you first lay out the foundation and then follow up with techniques that can enhance your work, makes the vid very simple to follow and beginner friendly.

Pure genius, straight to the point, easy to follow with a great result.
I presume you could do the same thing with geo nodes but you'd probably have to use another 50 nodes to get the same result.
Love your channel & content 👍🏼🦘

Fantastic. Useful beyond glass. I’m thinking tiles, interesting logos, even perhaps masks? Great work as usual. Thank you.

this is awesome. I believe that I'll never be able to figure this type of thing out by myself, I feel like you need to have a higher understanding of math and stuff that I really don't have. Nodes are fun but seeing how awesome some people are at them makes me lose hope

      Thanks for watching.
Being good with maths definitely helps, but I don't think it's necessary.
The good thing about nodes (shaders or even geometry nodes) is that it's based on only a few fundamental concepts - once you get the hang of those, everything suddenly becomes clear. The other good thing is that you only need to memorize a few (4 to 5) of the nodes to practice those fundamentals.
Don't lose hope. If I were to suggest a practice plan, I would say a good start is to skip any tutorial that uses any more than 8 or 9 nodes.

You just make these looks too easy :D
But one newbie question, on the moment: ua-cam.com/video/UPpHwWpq_tY/v-deo.html it looks like you have only one image there. But on my own I do have the logo on the front face, but also on back face. And sides as well. How did you make the log to be visible on one face only? Different material on front face? Other option could be keeping object enough thin, but your object did not looks to be thin.

      Glad you like it, :D
Yes, as you guessed correctly, the material is different for different faces. I used "vertex groups" for this.
