  • You won't make it very far through the cigar world before finding someone who has some... hostility toward Acid Cigars and other infused blends on the market. Hell, you may even be that person. So I wanted to take you through some important points on flavored and infused blends that I think all cigar lovers should consider. And if you want more out of this video, check it out on Cigarsdailyplus.com
NOTE: Neither Drew Estate or any other cigar maker incentivized me, in any way, to make this video. This video just contains my thoughts on infused cigars and their place in the cigar world.

I started to smoke cigars now and this with my dad and brother 40 years ago (at the age of 18). I smoked cigars on and off over the next 23 years then 17 years ago, went to a cigar bar with my brother when our family’s were vacationing together and I had the Acid Cold Infusion. This was the first cigar ever that I didn’t chew on and just enjoyed the aroma and flavors. Knocked my socks off. The next day we went back to cigar bar and I had a Natural, I think it was the English and didn’t chew down on that cigar either and just enjoyed the flavors. That did start my rebirth into the enjoyment of cigars.
Back then I smoked 80% infused but over the years learning more about the hobby, wrapper leafs, etc from watching reviews from you (and others) I now enjoy traditional sticks 80% of the time and infused 20%.
Great content today Tim and have a safe and enjoyable weekend🤗

Man. I was a former cigarette smoker. 8 years ago I found vaping. It got me off the cigs. Opened Vintage Vapors in Knoxville TN with my friend and boss Glenn Cate. We still operate the 1st Vape Shop in Knoxville. We're set up like an old speakeasy. We appeal to the older customer wanting to quit smoking. That's why we're still in business. I was introduced to cigars about 3 months ago. Smoked many different sticks, then found Acid. Man. I so get the point of this video. It gives me chills watching it. The political pressure of flavors and kids, it's so identical to what we've been up against for years now. We try to differentiate what we sell against what gas stations sell. We've lobbied 9n the state level all the way to Capitol Hill in DC. Your fight is our fight. I applaud how you approach this. Would love to talk sometime. Great mix intro for the times we are in right now hats off to you and yes we have lost our “agree to disagree” arguments....as for me smoking never been The big thing didn’t like to inhale Lol but smoking a stick on special occasions always came up throughout the year but when acids broke in the market I was a big fan !!! smoking Acids now not only on special occasions but monthly and now I will smoke a Cuban sandwich or a “true premium stick” every once in a while too .

First cigar I started with was an acid Kuba kuba less than a year ago. I still have a few acid's on hand at all times.... I tend to stick more towards non- infused now, but absolutely love coffee infused. Weather it be the Java line, and tabak especial....I do love them.

Factory Sweets, were my first cigars, bought online on cigars daily online shop. From there I got into more infused cigars, but also started branching out to the non-infused cigars. If I had started of with a Gurkha or a Perdomo, I wouldn't have bothered with cigars at all. I have found cigars I enjoy on the infused side as well as the non-infused world, and I have cigars from both worlds in my humidor.

it is the same thing in whiskey, cars, guns, etc... you name the topic and this type of "what i like is better than what you like" mentality is always there to one degree or another. I don't mind infused, but they really only make up about 1% of my cigar stock. I will usually smoke them when my family is around since they like the aroma better than a premium cigar. Also, i may have a coffee infused stick just because i like it.

I’ve been watching this channel here and there for a probably a year now and only smoke a cigar once every few months, ACID is my choice because I’m able to enjoy it between taste and smell. Many other cigars I’ve tried I tend to not care for but I look forward to trying many others in the future

I’ve only recently started to seriously get into cigars, and as stated eloquently in this video, the Acid’s are a whole other additional world of cigars, that have been genuinely interesting and intriguing to try, and I’ve so far very much enjoyed the premiums I’ve tried, but also enjoyed the different experience of infused.
TL;DR - it’s fun to try different things.

I’m a new cigar smoker , 1 yr in. Till this day I prefer a flavored cigar over a traditional one. I’m from the Bronx Ny and Rosario’s cigars made me a fan hands down they make absolute delicious flavored cigars from grey goose vanilla mint to henny white to milk cream flavors that are to die for! They also make premium traditional full body ones that I do enjoy but I always go back to something that has flavor paired with a spirit like henny or wine. I do enjoy acid cigars for the aromas and flavors. Smoking a kuba kuba as I’m watching this video and must say I’m enjoying it 💯

I love Acids. They got me into cigars. The flavors are amazing. I have a humidor just for my ACID collection.
I started with their cigarellos because I don't always have the time to smoke a larger cigar. The cigarellos are perfect for a 20 minute break to myself.

I'm just finishing my first $11 acid cigar...a cold infused cigar. I couldn't identify the flavor but there was one. It was mild and there was no ash taste after I re-lit it. I like it. I don't like it enough to replace my A. Fuente Natural Gran Reserves go-to smoke though.

You should smoke what you want the way you want it. My first flavored stick was a Swisher Sweet. My first premium was a Macanudo. It was the early 80's. I generally don't smoke flavored cigars and I found myself being a snob about it. My son-in-law handed me an Acid Kuba Kuba and I fought with the idea of smoking this stick. I finally lit the thing and I was surprised at how tasty it was. The tobacco used is premium, they just add a flavor that I found really nice. I guess what I'm saying is to be open. Try new things even if it pushes your standard. Ever tried peanut butter whiskey? It's amazing. Will I drink it every day? No. I still want to try a coffee infused stick. Will these be daily smokers? No. Are they fun to try? Yes. Thanks for bringing this up Tim!

When I am with a friend at our local cigar bar who chooses an Acid, I roll my eyes and say, "Why don't you smoke a REAL cigar?" But when I get one as a gift, I have to admit, damn they really are good! Especially in the final third when the infused flavors settle down and blend in with the natural tobacco flavors. I even buy one once in a great while. But if you tell anyone, I'll deny it!

I’ve been smoking pipes and cigars for 10 years now. I see infused cigars as the same deal as aromatic pipe tobacco. I like them and don’t consider them lesser than regular sticks. The Kuba Kuba with the candela wrapper is my favorite.
I get looks from other smokers when I pull out an acid or when I pull out a Kentucky leaf. I just don’t care what other folks think about what I smoke. I like what I like.

I'm all about the taste when it comes to cigars. If it's good, then it's good. No matter if infused or not. I have had some Acids, and I liked them. My problem is their naming convention, like I can't tell what flavor it's going to be. Lol.
