@@ericsparks4288 lol. I can't even afford that. I buy Thompson Cuban Rounds Candela for around $ 1.75. I have tried $20 to $25 cigars but like the Thompson's better
Smoked my first Padron 2000 Maduro because this channel recommended it. This channel in general is my inspiration to get into smoking and enjoying cigars. Best quote that resonates with me is “it’s about the ceremony of smoking a cigar”. Everything about it, from deciding what you’re in the mood for, what to drink with it, that first draw and everything else; completely changed how I relax and take time for myself. The Padron 2000 Maduro is amazing and I’m glad I found this channel that’s full of great tips. I’m halfway through it and it’s definitely my first favorite cigar!
Practically had the same initial experience with Padron. I went to a Cigar Fest early on in my cigar days. I got a bunch of sticks in a bag. kept passing over Padron due to the unassuming plain band. Finally smoked it and was like WHOA!!! this is not like any of the other sticks I'd smoked. Immediately fell in love with Padron. And like you said it has been so consistent over the years. Flavor/construction. Unwavering consistency.
Thanks for the review. I too found Padron cigars early in my smoking experience twenty five years ago. I always have a box of 2000's in my humidor. You can't go wrong with any line of Padron cigars. The Family Reserve Maduro is one of the finest cigars in the world.
Honestly some of favorite sticks. I like the maduro, 7x54 or whatever it is. I love that pepper at first and then how it smooths out in that sweet flavor. Always burns good. Always tatses good. Gave one to my uncle on thanksgiving and it was first time trying one. He was texting me later that evening thanking me. One of my tops.
Agree with everything you said. And the same for me when I first started. I almost didn’t give it a chance because of the simple band. I’m so glad I did! It doesn’t matter if I can’t afford one of their higher end lines. They all have that Padron flavor. And the QC is always on point! I’ve never used my perfect draw on a Padron.
If it wasn’t for this channel I wouldn’t have tried some of the cigars I have. Through your suggestions and reviews I’ve landed on some I really like. This Padron is one of them and at the top of my list at the moment. Thanks again and keep them coming!!!
I'm mainly a Cuban cigar fan but non Cuban wise, Padron is hard to beat and of all the different varieties they offer, I really just enjoy the bog standard 2000. Great cigar. A timeless classic.
Hi there. It was very interesting, listening to the interview you did with Mr. Padron about how the 80th is rolled by one person and one person alone. My all-time favorite cigar is rolled by one person. I found that very very interesting so thank you for that. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to more reviews from you guys . Out.
I'm a Dominican guy and not crazy about Nicaragua sticks but the Padron in 2000 is one of my all time favorites. I still think this is the best constructed cigar I've ever had.
I started out buying different cigars to find out which I like best. And this cigar is my #1. Each one I've bought has tasted just like the one before. Excellent for me.
My first two cigars were the Padron and Romeo y Julieta reserve. Both were fantastic. Made for a great entry into the cigar world. Thanks for your videos, keep them coming. 👍🏻
Since December 2007, the 7000 maduro has served as my baseline cigar. For ~$11 a stick, you're easily getting a $15-18 experience. As Mazz mentions, its a completely different flavor profile than say an Ashton maduro, which I consider to be one of the finest after dinner / dessert cigars ever blended.
Yay! About time. While EPCs remain my favorite portfolio, I have a ton of respect for the consistency and quality of this particular cigar. Other than a Perdomo, it is what I point any newcomer to. Great stick.
I would agree with consistent. I would also add “flavorful.” No matter which Padron I’ve had, I can always pull flavors from each. Excellent smoke and taste. My favs
You hit it on the head. It's an easy draw full-body. I grew up in Miami. it's a big cigar culture. I love the 1000 series . If a shop doesn't carry Padron than later.
I agree 100% been hunting for past couple weeks bought 15 cigars maybe cause I didnt have a humidor at camp, every cigar tasted little off ACCEPT for my 2 Padrons they tasted like they were just made, will always be by fare my favorite brand!
Have only bout a year now into cigars....been spoiled done many brands many varieties and the padron has to be top of the line, had davidoff, crown diamond,Ashton to the habana yes again padron is my celebration cigar life is good!! Cool video
Couldn't agree with you more Anthony. I cringe when I'm down to 4 or 5 Padron 2000's. I tend to alternate; one box of maduros and then a box of naturals on the next go round. Razor sharp burn, perfect draw and that unique beautiful flavor profile all the time. You really do get what you pay for evertime you go for Padron. Everything from the blend, construction, elegant presentation to the tobaccos plus serial and batch controled boxes exudes quality in every sense of the word.
I agree with him. It is my number one favorite cigar. I've been smoking them for over 2 decades and like others have never had one with an unacceptable draw or burn. The maduro is what I love, but the natural is a very nice switch once in a while.
So I watched this video before, but I just came back to it tonight because I’m smoking Padron original tonight and wanted to compare notes while smoking it. Man, this cigar is something else! I think the only mistake I made tonight is the whiskey I chose, which is Old Forster bottled in bond and I thought this was overwhelming to the cigar. Next time I’ll try a scotch and maybe coffee and see which could match best with it. Thanks for the review!
When I first started smoking cigars, I came across the Padron 3000. At that time, I didn't understand how to taste should hit my pallet, until I smoked the Padron 3000. After tasting the cocoa, the espresso, and the peppery finish. It unlocked what I was looking for. That has been one of my favorites ever since. But you have to do a review on the Padron 6000 series. That's if you haven't done so already.☺
I just did 18 holes , 2 hours away . Had one of these in my humidor , and boy she hit the spot . I was smoking davidoff Churchill belicosos on the course which are phenomenal . Happy to end the night with this stick it was great . I usually save my padrons for special occasions. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of trying cigars lol .
Spot on review I came here to decide between the Padron 2000 3000 for upcoming trip to Mexico and the consistency in the Maduro. whether you pick the 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000 probably is the Maduro 3000 series because it's the right size for me. thanks!
Hi there my BOTL. So I was wondering, what are your thoughts on purging your cigar. For me if I get to the being of the third and my cigar is tasting a little off or a lot. I find that if I purge it. It brings it back to tasting like the middle of the second. Thoughts. ??? And I think it should be talked about more. Would really like to hear your thoughts. ?¿?¿?¿ Out
Do you have one particular cigar that you smoke on a regular basis? I’m new and I have been trying many different ones and to see which one I like best but hard to choose.
Just had one of these tonight. Phenomenal cigar! I am fairly new to cigar smoking and your channel and I have a question. When do I know when to stop smoking my cigar? Like how far down do I smoke it till it’s “done”.
Until you're done with it, plain and simple! If you're enjoying the cigar go until you can't hold it anymore. If you're not enjoying it stop at any time
These are one of my go to-s. Ironically they are harder to find than the anniversary series. I think because they sell out faster. Unfortunately Padron unlike Feunte doesn’t have a real mid priced stick. It is either spend 8 to 12 dollars for a 1000 series or extremely high teens mainly 20s to 30 plus for the Anniversaries. Most of us can’t afford to buy 64s 24s or 80th as a weakly smoke. Especially when most of us smoke daily or numerous cigars a day. The 1000 series offers that great Padron flavor at a fraction of the cost. However, they are butt ugly. Single cap, lumpy and extremely rustic looking. The Anniversaries are beautiful. But the taste and burn quality of the 1000s are still on point. The quality of the actual tobacco is almost equal to the 64s in my opinion. I said almost. 😉. Padron is the king of Nicaragua tobacco in my opinion. Sorry Garcias. You are my number 2 when it comes to the Nicaraguan leaf.
Padron also has a distinct cap. Anyone that smokes cigars will be able to ID a Padron instantly. It would have to literally be a blind tasting. Not just the band removed but the eyes covered. Facts
I love Padron's but in Canada they're a little more expensive. A single Padron 5000 costs just over $24. I only know of one store in Canada that sells them. Thankfully it's an online store with Native American pricing. Screw paying 300% duties. In a non-Native cigar retailer, this stick would run $40.
Didn't Padrons have a unique hint of flavor to them about 15 years ago? Just a wisp of coffee and chocolate, but just barely. The construction is still the best, never a bad draw, still my favorite but I do miss that hint of flavor.
Another prominent cigar channel stated Padron doesn't age their tobacco .. these are awesome sticks but I'm not digging how much the information about them differs depending on who you listen to.
Consider the family reserve, but in the smaller vitola. That way you aren’t out too much $ but get the special experience they bring. EP Carrillo’s Pledge and La Historia also great special-occasion cigars at 1/3 of the price of that FR.
I can’t afford the 1926 or 64 often but the 3000 sticks in the $10 price range is a super good value!
Same here man, I’ve had the Anniversary lines, wish I could afford them all the time but the $8-10 sticks are great!
They're $19.88 for Canadians without tax (Cigar Chief)
@@ericsparks4288 lol. I can't even afford that. I buy Thompson Cuban Rounds Candela for around $ 1.75. I have tried $20 to $25 cigars but like the Thompson's better
~$28/stick here in commie Canada
I tried this cigar 33 years ago in a cigar shop. it is still one of my favorites. it is unique
Absolutely
In my opinion, Padron cigars are the best on the market today, I completely agree with you, this is the best cigar

Yet another great video, Anthony. The Padron 3000 Maduro is fantastic!
I love these cigars. Padron 2000 & 3000 are oustanding and consistant from cigar to cigar. A regular in my humidor.
I like these affordable cigars. They're absolutely beautiful and enjoyable, even for beginners.
Couldn't agree more!
This is one of my favorite blends. I don’t smoke much Pedrons anymore. But I’ll smoke this blend once a year.

Great timing. Picked up one of these last night at local shop. Looking forward to it. Only have had Damaso which was great.

Thinking about cigars without having padron is depressing. We’re lucky to have them. Aj, too
Need to try it. I always skip it and grab the 1964 which is my favorite cigar.

7000 maduro is my go to
I still love the 2000, 3000, and 4000 in natural. Used to be the best deal in cigars, But prices have crept up.
Still a good price for what you get
Considering Cuban prices now I mean, holy shit I used to buy epicures for 300 a box they are now over 700 a box
My dream would be to see you do an episode with Kirby Alison, your channel with Davidoff (London) are the creme de la creme of channels.
This is my go to stick❤
Love my occasional 1964 Meduro Exclusivo. Is this cigar comparable?
Definitely, give it a shot and see what you think 👊
☑️ My 1st time hearing it as the "Original Blend" for the Thousand Series. Btw i like the Oliva V better 🆚 1964 Anniversary.
Nothing wrong with that, taste is personal 👊
For me, one word describing Padron original maduro (7000 is my favorite size), is quintessential.
Next to the Padron 3000 what would you recommend for a NICE Birthday cigar? P.S. can’t wait for my subscription box, last one was Awesome!!
The Andre 3ooo Moorano 🌬️🪈🎼🎼🎼🎼💨
In the UK, these Padron 2000's are about $22 a stick. the cost of new world here is the same as the cost of Cubans.
Yes!
In my best brick and mortor, best I got was £24! 🥺
😅
One of my favorites… the 3000 Maduro. They’re becoming harder and harder to find for a reason.
I smoked the 2000maduro and a 1926 no6 the next day and I prefer the 2000 all day. And it’s almost half the price
