Your hair looks shinier after the co-wash. I actually started co-washing my hair after watching your videos and my stylist is so happy with how moisturized my hair is now. I was having issues with dry hair, but I think the co-washing has definitely changed that.
I’ve really enjoyed your content. Will you do an end of the year recap on what you liked, what works, what didn’t work? Recap on products and/or brands you liked 2023?
I like everything about their brand . I like that it’s affordable , I like the scents , the packaging , the quality of the products . the only reason I’m not using many of their products rn is bc I’m on a hair detox (no oils & no butters) but I don’t plan on being on a strict detox forever so I will be using their products soon !
I have never tried the mousse. Never had luck with mousses but that cream is BAE. I have type 4 hair and I use it as a one product wash and go and it works really well for me. Then again, I do prefer softer, more voluminous hair. I work from home so it's my go to when I don't have a very active social week and I just need to do my hair and keep it moisturised. If I have a lot going on during a particular week I will reach for products which will give me better and more long lasting results but it's still a good product especially for the price tag! Anyway, I love your hair!
I love the Texture ID foam, and the smell. Been using it for a few years. It works great for touch-ups, and refreshing a week old wash and go. I normally shampoo, etc once a week, but when I'm feeling lazy the foam comes in clutch.
I prepoo I guess with cowash to detangle! and dont apply to my scalp. I think id want to apply a cleansing shampoo to my roots and cowash the ends. So I dont have any build up
I watched the blowout professors video on bonding treatments, and the Redken treatment was his topic so I’m curious to give it a try myself! That’s probably going to be a black Friday purchase.
@@BrittanyMiaI watched a UA-cam video by Abby Yung comparing the Redken bonding concentrate to the Loreal version, and she said the ingredients are identical. The drugstore one is only 10 to 13 dollars. They also have a mini kit with the treatment, shampoo, and conditioner for around 15 dollars. I've seen it on Ulta's website and my local Meijer. Hope this helps.
Thanks to you I started using Olaplex and when I tell you…my hair is sooo soft and hopefully it’ll start holding moisture better. I have high porosity hair (I’m color treated although I think my hair was HP before lol). Thanks for posting and showing your progress ❤
Thank you for the insight. Your hair always look beautiful. I love to put a plastic bag on my head after shampoo, conditioning, and adding my base gel. I would usually keep the bag on until I'm dried off and after putting my clothes on. Sometimes that could be an hour after the base gel. Like you said, it really allows the products to marinate. I like it so much better.
Please don't feel obligated to try more affordable options. Do what you want! It is your hair and no one else has a say lol. We just love watching those curls bounce! I will say it is definitely hard finding staple or favorite products when there are so many on the market to try. I can honestly say it took me 10 years to find them. Surprisingly I have yet to find the perfect rinse out conditioner or hair gel. Can't wait to see what you have in store next. I am making my list for black friday and Pattern is #! right now.
There’s my issue. There are so many options out here! Have you tried Olaplex No.5 or AG boost 👀 those two are my current favorite rinse out conditioners. Have to let them sit in the hair and marinate for a few minutes before detangling but they’re great! Saaaame. I’m ready to stock up on that custard! The leave in and the custard is my most reliable wash and go rn.
I wasn't able to get the regular one in the tub but it lists the jumbo size with the pump as a "new" product. So maybe they're just phasing out the regular size? 🤔
Hello! Would you ever try grease for your hair? I’ve started using the Camille rose fro grease and 1) my hair has never felt better 2) it actually has a bit of a hard like not hard crunchy hold but like a moldable flexible hold. Ive used it for flat twists and single twist, but I want to try it for wash n gos too.
Hello 👋🏾. I may but I’m a little like 👀. It’ll add more time to my shampoo sessions but it may be worth it. Once you try it for a wash and go, let me know how you feel about it!
The results were pretty decent especially after the cowash. I might try these products when I finally experiment with wash n gos again. I've only ever tried the leave-in spray which I liked a lot and used often and the deep conditioner which was just okay so I didn't buy again.
Lovely wash-n-go. I saw in a video somewhere that Texture ID was being discontinued. IDK if it's true or not. Currently, I'm enjoying the TreLuxe Smooth and Restore mousse and Curl Primer.
Hey Brittany! I really like this combo for your hair. I feel like this is one of your best most wash and gos. Each time it just got better! What wash and go(s) do you feel tops this combo? Did you ever get a chance to reschedule and/or visit your hairstylist Breanna? Do you get single strand knots and if so do you feel you have/get them a lot? How do you deal with them considering you do regular wash and gos?
Both pattern beauty wash and goes that I’ve done, or all three, top this wash and go for me. The leave in with the Custard, the cream with the Custard, and the curl gel with the mousse. I saw Brianna in July and I will have part one of my salon visit posted tomorrow. I still get single strand knots a lot and I think that pre-pooing and finger detangling will help me mitigate those. I get so impatient when I finger detangle, so it’s really, really hard for me. It’s currently my Achilles heel. When I see them, I cut them out of my hair. Also, my Ola Plex treatments help a ton with that. They don’t get rid of the knots, but they do make my hair strands stronger. I dealt with single strand knots even when I wasn’t doing wash and go’s, so I believe that they are par for the course. However, I can definitely reduce the amount that I am getting by finger detangling. Even if that means I have to do my hair more often so it’s not as tangled when I go to detangle it.
@@BrittanyMia I’ll try rewatching to see why you feel that way. I think your hair always looks beautiful but it is also about preference, how it feels, application… I guess the whole overall experience.
Hi, do you mind do a comprehensive video on making wash n gos the go to hair style. I would like it if the video contains information like shape, nighttime maintenance, next day revamp, co-wash schedule. Products recommendations will not be necessary but are welcome. I just want to know how best to maintain health, length retention with wash and go styling. The Anthony-dickey method is to intense for me. I can’t imagine washing my hair everyday. I know this is a lot. Thank you
maybe try that cream with a different stronger mousse? Your results were better than mine but last time I tried that combo my hair was not as healthy as it is now so I want to try it again!
It potentially would work with a stronger holding mousse, but I’m retiring these products from my stash. They work, but I have better. Thanks for the suggestion though ❤️
this is completely unrelated but i love your hair! i was wondering if you have any tips for someone planning to do a big chop? like tool & product recommendations, etc?

That is awesome! I love cowashing, so I’m glad you and your stylist are seeing the benefits 💙.
This!!! I started too.Y hair is less dry and brittle.
coily hair is so beautiful
Ain’t it?❣️

I can, but I need suggestions. So please share!
@@BrittanyMia the aunt Jackie’s ice curls I’m thinking about trying that soon
@@BrittanyMiamixed chicks styling cream is very similar to the texture id, but it has more hold and no protein
Aunt Jackie mousse is a good one. Its in my top 5 and I’ve probably tried like 10-15 different mousses

They are discontinuing some Texture ID products. I think The mousse is one of them 😢
Wooooow. No wonder I can’t find any links for them.
This is one of my best combos. Sad to see the mousse go. Hope they’re planning on launching a replacement 🤞🏾
Texture ID has a wash and go gel. Your hair looks great!!
Hey girl where did you buy the cream ?
I purchased it at Sally’s. All of a sudden they aren’t selling it anymore. The only thing I can find is the jumbo size.
Looks great
