Hey! I noticed a lot of you saying I should try without a leave in but honestly the spray I used was VERY lightweight. I also didn’t use it on every section and the mousse still performed the same with and without it. I still just prefer the hold that a gel gives!
Hey Kaice, wondering if you’ve ever tried Jell-O shot jel? Literally the banana cream deep conditioner from eco slay ( can be used as a leave in, just used a small amount ) and the Jell-O shot gel. Results🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 definition 7+ days on god hold is strong

I love this mousse! On the bottle it says for a firmer hold use it on dry hair. I let my hair air dry for a while and then use it. It holds so much better and I still have plenty of definition.
Yes and I have tried this and used it on dry hair that I washed and conditioned and left in twists the night before. Then did and wash n go. Once it got old (2-3 days later) I did a double cast layer and it lasted another 3-5 days
THIS was the game changer for me! I let my hair almost dry, then use this foam.. curls hold for a week!
Hi. You used too much water. Use on damp hair with a spray in leave in. Or use with with Adwoa Beauty leave in then The Doux foam on damp hair. That’s what works for me in this Texas heat! 💕
Girl you got to try it in damp hair no added water! I used the W.O.W dream coat spray with it as a leave in and I have to say it was one of my best wash n go i had in while!!! ❤

I have 4b hair, and it doesn't work that well as a wash and go, but it works very well for twist outs.
The doux in opinion is best for rod sets, twist and braid outs

I agree with both of y’all, I’ve tried it on a wash n go 2 times. With product and without and it did nothing for me😂
My hair is 4a, and fine but a medium density like Keice's and a professional cosmetologist that specializes in natural hair used this on my hair my the rod set didn't look good on me. I know what my hair looks like with a really nice twist out. When I used to have time in HS to do a twist out, my hair would look very defined for almost two weeks. Nowadays, I usually do a protective style or just go about my natural curls and use my revair.
The mousse I prefer to use is the camille rose spiked honey but I NEVER just put mousse in my hair, only to refresh, that is it.

It definitely was the technique! Unless the directions say differently, mousses work best on damp to dry hair!

I would say styling on drenching wet hair quite possibly played a factor. I get best results when I style on freshly washed hair right out of the shampoo that's not soaking wet.
I have a super twa and I used Texture ID curl cream along with the Doux foam as a was and go. It was ok. Honestly I can use the cream on it’s own. It really defined my hair. The hold was there. It didn’t dry out my hair like the big poppa gel did 😫
This is how I felt when I first tried it. I now swear by it and won’t use anything else.
It doesn’t keep my hair moisturized
No leave-in and on damp hair only. I have 4-A hair and I thought I hated this until I read the directions 🤯 this a really good product.
When I saw your video I clicked on it so fast I love watching your content and your facial expressions was saying it all LOL but to be honest with you I think maybe if you would to try the mouse and hair gel together I think it would work out better because to be honest with you I want to try them together as well so if you decide to give it a try let me know your thoughts on it
I love their products, the first I tried going natural and baaaaby love love love, the mouse gets better as you go especially if you use the pomade for a bit more moisture and hold once dry✨ gained a follower! 💕
You are not supposed to use oil with this product trying it again without oil...read the directions 😊
When I use products that don’t give me what I’m looking for 😂😂 I rinse is out and try something else ❤ and sometimes my hair doesn’t cooperate because it’s to long,,,,, so then I’ll cut it 😂😂(but your hair is beautiful)
Just did my washn go with this. Sometimes I use a light leave in like kinky curly knot today because it doesn’t have oil in it. But the hold and definition is there for 4a/4b curls. It works better on damp to dry hair. I’ve had my style last for 6 days before.Your hair was too wet. I was in a rush yesterday and only towel dried a few minutes and my style came out not as defined and soft hold. So I touched up this morning on dry hair and it’s perfect with definition and hold.
I actually use this mouse as a leave in under gel
I want to try this method with those kind of blow dryers but I have low porosity 4b/c hair 😭
I love the way your hair came out personally. My daughter’s hair can’t take mousse either! She recently did braid out with mousse it came out bad
I haven’t used the curlsmith pre shampoo in a min but loved it when I used. I just been stuck with the briogeo scalp cleanser. The pattern mask is still on my list to try

I have type 4 fine Full hair. I had a curly hair stylist try this on my hair, I hated it! No definition! My hair was damp before she used the product and she only used the mousse. I was shocked because I never get definition on my hair with only a mousse on a wash and go!

I really need to try that Pattern hair mask. It had your curls popping. I have tried the Doux mousses on 2-strand twists but never for a wash-n-go. They were both great for my twists.
It looks like we have similar curls and texture… try it with that Big Poppa before ruling it out completly, it might come out amazing.
I tried this mousse with Camille Rose Honey Hydrate as a leave-in and got really good results. However, Camille Rose has changed the formula on that product so I can no longer vouch for it until I try the new formula.
My friend was begging me to use this mousse. Said it would change my life. Never thought I'd pay $16 for it, but i said wth. Lol. I used it with and without all the extra water, and i will say without the water was soooooo much better. I'm a 4b, and it defined my curls very well. Girl i made the mistake of putting oil on my hair before the mousse, and my hair was ruined! I had to was it out! 😂😂 I will never let my gel go tho!
The mousse was lame like its name. Stick with the gel girls.
My hair type just needs a gel also to get the lasting hold I desire.
You’re not supposed to use this product with any other products.
I spray I used was veryyyy lightweight lol Iike I could barely feel it on my hair. I just wanted to try it out. I also didn’t use it on every section and the mousse still performed the same.
@@KaiceAleagirl I said the same initially. But when I decided to try it on its own the results were soooo different! My hair is short now so it’s my staple. Not sure if I’d feel the same if my hair was longer.

i use the uncle funky gel first then this mousse. i def think you’ll like it better that way!
I liked it but thought your hair would be dry on day 1 or 2. I also saw some frizz but it wasn’t bad.
Use a leave cream leave in first. I think the directions say not to, but I definitely think it works best on my hair with a leave in.
We have similar hair , the same thing happened to me, I like the Bee gel by the Duex. It gave a tighter hold

The leave in was very lightweight and didn’t make a difference, I didn’t use it on every section

I was told that one has less of a hold
Where have you been for so long
