    BRI, sweetie , pour the big bag of shampoo and the conditioner into a already used bottle of AG shampoo and conditioner so you won't pour too much or waste any... your hair is beautiful. I have the same bags. I transferred the product. I'm a mess when washing my hair...I dropped my bag in the shower.... I wasn't happy about that..... but I get it done!!.. Thank you for your hair content.. I need it .. GOD BLESS

      The frizz definition is cute… normally for me when I do a mousse as a styler by like day 3 it’s really shrunk in and soft so I just reapply a moisturizing gel on top to just re activate the curls to last a bit longer than 3 days

    the side part in the thumbnail got me so excited. it looks great on you!! 🤭❤️
    my hair is at that twa length where it’s too short to section but too long to detangle by just running a brush or comb through it so detangling is becoming complicated 😭

    Your results are pretty as usual. Different look though. I'm still not a mousse curly. I can tolerate it in summer but otherwise too much volume for me. Your side part is giving. The heat cap is one of my must have. Really enjoy it. As for pre detangling I'm now using the Curlsmith intense serum (its a bit shea butter heavy for me) or the Melanin leave in. Fingers crossed I'll shed less. We will see.

    I’ve just started to incorporate a hair oil serum after watching a couple of The Blowout Professors videos. I only use it after my hair has been dry and set with gel or foam. I find if I use hair oils/serums it affects the gel and foams stylers to be able to perform. I’m using up The Douxs honey collection oil but then want to use the olaplex bonding oil on my ends moving forward. I still don’t prescribe to raw oils and butters.

    You should mix the curl maker and Moco de Gorila Hair Gel Punk. But make sure you put more curl maker and less of the gorilla hair gel. Like a 3:1 ratio. Trust me when I say that it does not make your hair flake at all. Maybe after a week or so, tiny flakes will show up but they can be easily fixed with a little bit of water. It’s the best combination of gels I’ve ever tried!

    IMO no hair product smells as good as the Balance and Boost products from AG. I do not understand why they don’t make that their signature fragrance and put it in all their products. It’s the best botanical, spa fragrance I’ve ever smelled.
    Oh, also, you might like Liquid Effects more than Mousse Gel. I find Mousse Gel eats up the products I put on underneath and can leave my hair feeling a little dry. Still a great product but Liquid Effects is more moisturizing imo.

      @@BrittanyMia Hey Brittany, you may not see this since it’s been so long. When I first tried it as a wash n go, I didn’t section or anything just got a small amount and rubbed it into my hair. Of course I didn’t get much definition out of that but it made my hair soft and so easy to detangle even after a week. When I tried it again for a twist out I actually took the time to properly detangle each twist section and apply the grease. When I took out the twist a few days later 1) my hair was still very moisturized 2) my hair was super defined. I think because I added so much water and leave in my hair shrank up more than usual, but was so defined it looked more like a wash n go than a twist out because of the grease. I’ve used the Camille rose gro grease and AdWords beauty blue tansy leave in. I also go in with the ouidad water works shampoo to get it off. I still feel some residue that’s usually gone after I follow up with the curl quencher conditioner. I usually wear my hair in single twists or flat twists so I haven’t tried an outright wash n go yet. Sorry for the long answer and I do appreciate you replying back tho! Wishing you and your channel success! 🙏🏾

    I’ve been playing around with the OGX coconut miracle oil as a pre-poo for about a month. So it’s introduced a few things: an oil pre-poo, a product with silicones pre-wash and this idea of using a “penetrating oil”. So far? I like it! I find that my shed hair slides out during my shampoo, and I can wash it out with my standard shampoo routine. First wash K18 detox, second shampoo moisture shampoo (trying with Pureology and Amika right now).
    About my hair - my strands are very fine, low porosity, medium-high Density and prone to both over conditioning and protein sensitivity.
    Also congrats on being back to work 🎉

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  Рік тому

      Thank you for sharing those details. I appreciate it! One of the reasons why I am wanting to try an oil is to detangle, but also it’s safe to fall asleep in. My hair does get overly conditioned easily and if I fall asleep in a conditioner pre-poo, I don’t want that to break down the bonds in my hair strands that I’ve been using olaplex to rebuild.
      And thank you so much 💕

    • @laurendaniels7528
      @laurendaniels7528 Рік тому +1

      I should add that I never sleep with it. I apply maybe 2 hours before I wash. Last week I played with tossing on a plastic cap to trap head and increase penetration. I liked the outcome

      ... how do you know if your hair is prone to OVER conditioning? Because now that I'm reading the comments I feel like mine may be too! I'm also super fine, low density, sensitive to over protein 🫢

    • @laurendaniels7528
      @laurendaniels7528 Рік тому +1

      @@germanyluv I can tell when after I rinse a conditioner out my hair feels soggy or almost mushy. It's like the structure of my hair is softened. I can tell it's over conditioned vs something like hydral fatigue because if I keep rinsing (especially with warmer water) I can get my hair back to normal. I just used a product that left too many conditioning agents behind on my hair. An example is the Not Your Mother's bond repair mask.
      For the opposite, if I use a mask or conditioner with too much protein my hair feels crispy when I rinse it out. I hope this helps.

    I appreciate this content because I think I have been washing my hair too much. My hair really does not get dirty. It begins to frizz in about 4 days do I re wash it. I have been rotating Curlsmith cowash, but now I’m thinking that cowashing without the added surfactant might be more helpful. I heard you say that you’ve been cowashing with the Olaplex no 5. I got some and co washed with it. I see water insoluble and water soluble silicones in it. I have not used a silicone in years, but I went ahead with this one. Do you notice any buildup with that silicone so high up in the ingredient list of Olaplex 5. Can you just tell me some of your thoughts on it. I’m thinking that as we go into winter here in MIchigan, the silicone might be a help to my hair. I don’t know. I just want the best for my hair, so I keep trying. Thanks so much.

    U should try using an oil on your face to help with the dryness my favs are jojoba, carrot, or castor oil depending on the time of year

      I’m going to start using castor oil. I heard really good things about it for a night time moisturizer. On top of my moisturizer.

    I have been pre detangling before washing my hair but I prefer using a cheap conditioner. Right now I enjoy using pure zero biotin or invigorating conditioner. My back up would be raw sugar volume conditioner. Any thin and light one will do. Also prefer the pattern detangling nectar to get extreme tangles out.

    Just started using the Sarenzo pre poo.. makes detangling a breeze. Also, Naturelle Grow has a phenomenal marshmallow root and slippery Elm DC treatment that I use as a detangler. Slips those tangle away. Can't wait for Black Friday

    That side part is GIVING! I freaking swear by oil. I usually use babassu oil or argan oil as a prepoo. Sometimes I'll use an aloe vera based prepoo if I'm feeling extra. Looking forward to the videos!

    Can you try the helix hair tube instead of a bonnet im curious on your thoughts. Also, do you filter Chlorine out of your shower water? A shower filter makes products work better and my hair is softer

    For your detangle comment. I pre-detangle before I wash. I use the pattern detangling nectar on dry or wet hair and the tangle teaser brush (purple one with the handle). I usually watch hair videos like yours lol to pre-detangle. It has saved me time in the shower and saved my drains. For a cost-effective alternative, I used to use the African pride pre-poo hated the smell, but it washed out.
