Of all the degrassi actors I could picture being in a country movie musical, munro chambers is at the bottom of that list. Actually, he's not even at the bottom. He just isn't on the list.
My sister went through a bit of a christmas movie phase last year, and at some point she came to the realisation that the christmas movie formula is the same for every one. One of the "rules" she came up with was that there was always an actor/actress that you recognize from somewhere but can never tell where. 5 minutes later, the actress who played Sean's Mum was on screen.
The actress who plays Sean's mom has a career out of being in tv Christmas movies. I was rewatching Degrassi and I was like 'OH IT'S THE CHERRY CHIP LOAF LADY FROM 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS'.
haylie duff is in a lot of christmas movies and plays the exact same character. it irks me bc her movies are always recommended to me but now i can’t stand her as an actress
i love dogging on christmas movies, especially the amount of them that feature dead parents for some reason 😭. it’s always “this year is different without dad around…”
I love that Country Crush did the thing that bad musicals do where before every song there a line that you can tell in the script was Bold AND Italics. The directors was like "this is suppose to inform the song, emphasize it."

Okay so i remember coming home from school one day when I was young and my dad was watching devils diary but he was asleep so I was watching it unsupervised. I had no clue what it was called or the point of it but it lived in my head rent free for so long and it honestly still does and the fact that the only way I’m figuring out what it’s called is through a degrassi related video is making me scream

Walked into the living room the other day and thought my mom was watching degrassi but actually it was Picture Perfect starring Ashley Tisdale, Shane’s Grimes, and Lauren Collins. Last time I saw that movie was before I’d seen degrassi I guess bc I was shocked
Your hair is giving me prime “Did you flip a switch and erase me from your memory?!” Clare Edwards vibes and I’m living for it

i have never wanted to watch anything more than this video
So glad I found this channel again
i haven't watched degrassi besides when i was 12 in my best friend's basement at 4am when everyone else was asleep, but i'm obsessed with every video you make about it
You forgot to mention that Miriam McDonald AKA Emma Nelson was also in a seductive provocative teen thriller called Poison Ivy 4: Secret Society and Alex Steele was in "Friends Who Kill".
😊
❤
Yes, she did forget to mention that film; Country Crush is pretentious and dumb..no offense to the fans of the film.
I haven’t even watched it yet but this video has already made my week. Thanks Jane, I love your commentary!
YES you have made more Degrassi content! I was just thinking about your video on it the other day.
too many months my hearts been waiting for this sequel!!!
what if all the clocks were suddenly broken …
Oh God the Truth or Dare movie- me and my sister watched it and I still laugh about the bad affects, mostly bc a girl cuts off her toe and I am /positive/ that when she tosses it they use a (cut in half) GREEN GRAPE- no fake blood or anything, it's amazing
😭😭😭 that is so funny I'll have to rewatch that scene
Your original Degrassi video was a year ago?! I feel like I just watched it a few weeks ago. But I look back and see my comment on it from a year ago. Time is going too damn fast. I feel like my life is on greased wheels to the grave.
JAAANE I love your hair!!! so happy to see another video
I would be traumatized! there's a scene where the main girl chokes on her own vomit and dies?? very gross I'm glad I didn't see it as a child
Theory for hellions: was the weird pink color grading supposed to be “womb lighting”?
I’ve been waiting for this one…TURN IT UP😭
8:35 is that PAUL DANO?? 😭
Love the curly hair! Also, I’ve never seen Degrassi but I still enjoy these videos immensely
i have been waiting hunched over the computer with drool dribbling out of my mouth breathing heavily like a mad man who just ran a mile for this next installment .
This was EXCELLENT. Thank you Jane
Add degrassi to the list of media i will never consume but know so much about
I love all of the videos you make that have to do with degrassi or degrassi actors. I could listen to you talk about degrassi all day, everyday! 💚
Walked into the living room the other day and thought my mom was watching degrassi but actually it was Picture Perfect starring Ashley Tisdale, Shane’s Grimes, and Lauren Collins. Last time I saw that movie was before I’d seen degrassi I guess bc I was shocked
