    I own the PRX Chrono Blue and it is a great watch. Really a bargain in that price point. Still my one and only chronograph.

    Am I the only one who enjoys a louder rotor? I feel it gives me a better "mechanical watch" feeling.

    Been eyeing this watch for a while now, btw it does have a milled clasp, it's just butterfly style, milled refers to how it's made, as in a larger block of material is cut down by machining instead of a thin piece of metal that is stamped like you'd find on cheap bracelets.

    I have the PRX Panda but with the black sub dials and gold tone hands. Even though it's a cam operated chronograph it has a great tactile feel when operated. The finish with that great bracelet combined with the spec it's brilliant value. Being a butterfly clasp with smaller links I have no issue with sizing but I can appreciate that it may not be for everyone. Thanks for sharing.

    Tissot cares about its customers. Tissot builds affordable watches at great prices that are AVAILABLE! The Tissot PRX is my daily watch! Let Rolex, AP, and Patek continue to shun new customers.

    I, like you, purchased the blue version when it came out and I love it! It is one of my favorite watches and I get a ton of complements on it whenever I wear it. I have watches that are a lot more expensive but this one feels just as nice and is a no brainer for the price and how nicely it is finished. I love this configuration as well and have considered buying it. I also really love the white/silver and rose gold accent version and have strongly consider that one as well. I don’t think anyone can go wrong with a PRX, Chrono or otherwise. I personally love the Chronos the most because the look and the size. Great video as always Bruce!

    Great vid. The case shape and bracelet remind me a lot of my Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton

    I’ve had the blue model and this one shown in the video. Sold both as it just wore thick.
    If this made this thinner like 13.5mm or 40/41mm I’d pick one up. Solid watch!
    FYI wrist is 7.25 and I still felt it wore a tad big

    I haven't been able to get along with a PRX just yet. I think I need to try the Powermatic version next time around.

      I really want to try the all gold tone 40mm powermatic

    • @SuLu_B
      @SuLu_B 10 місяців тому +1

      The Powermatic is nice but I think it's charm can wear off a bit. My PRX isn't very accurate and of course it's the exact same case and bracelet as the $300 quartz variant -- I already own a mechanical variant, but if I could do it again I would probably get the quartz variant and have a watchmaker remove the seconds hand (they are often misaligned with the dial marks anyways) for a cleaner look.

    I just got this and a 40mm ice blue powermatic 80 and love them both. it's hard to wear the 3 hand over this one xD I do wish there was a microadjust on bracelet. i am learning my wrist swells and shrinks, and i've not tried to resize it myself, I don't want to drive it down to my AD every summer/winter for a resizing so hopefully I can learn it or where they have it will work all year. it was pretty loose (finger under) at first a couple days ago, and today was very tight, zero movement. Which, I actually liked more because its so heavy. I did get a great deal for both, so I am very happy. One thing I am not happy with though, the lume on these is pretty bad. I dont' want to have to charge it ..and just regular use in the day it doesn't seem to gather any at all. Maybe in summer, with short sleeves, but I would bet not really...

    I like everything about this watch except for the butterfly clasp. I've never been able to get a good fit on a butterfly clasp most of the time.

    Nice video thanks. You forgot to speak about the way to change date and how hard it is to wind it because the button is too small(that’s my feeling of course)

    • @BruceWilliams
      @BruceWilliams  10 місяців тому +1

      You are right. Tissot gives you a small tool to press the date pusher at the 10 on the case.

    This might sound dumb, or impossible. But, I have the 35mm MOP PRX. If they make this in a 35mm, im buying it asap. Just like I did my 35mm prx mop.

    Not sure why you said the clasp isn't milled, it certainly isn't pressed steel. Butterfly style, yes.

    I mean I think the regular panda is better. It's got that vintage thing and that makes it work with more formal wear too. The blue ones are far more modern and less versatile.

    Tissot is the kind of watch you find in a mall kiosk and something a millennial would buy with his first paycheck after moving out of mommy's basement.
