dont think most thinks Tissot as an Entry Level.... rather Mid Tier, within the Swatch Group they are not seen as Highend, they have others for that such as Omega and Rado. though I would agree that they have great design and improved. but lets not forget Tissot has and still has a big issue with their T-Touch models and are not watches meant to last a lifetime (cuz they cant)

To be fair, Tissot doesn’t actually make watches. They outsource dials, movements, and cases and assemble them, in a “too far away” location. I’ve been a fan of Tissot, but this video just illustrates how far some Swiss brands have fallen. They have a “lottery” to see which model from their archive they’ll endeavor to reissue. There’s no refinery of the Valjoux movement, just placing a dial and case on it. Rolex too has been resting on their laurels, but they are their own laurels. Rolex has made small but definite refinements over the last 30 years that go mostly unnoticed in their iconic/old model designs. Only someone who owns a 19xx model will appreciate the refinements in the 20xx version of that watch.
You snobs Rolex guys should know that Rolex is a pirâmides Bussiness everyone have to earn money 💰 lots of it ! Plus Tissot, Longines where the best watches back in the XIX century not Rolex or Richard Mill that’s plastic toys for snobs pay million dollars for a horrible watch 🤑 pure Marketing! On the other side you have a company showing up “almost everything “ go and try that at Rolex? Do they make their Subs in Switzerland? 😆 they need more room because of the lack of stock asked Swatch Group to rent some space 😆 all the 20/15 thousand Subs would value € 2500 those were the prices in the 80’s for a Sub without discount!

The moment the "Most desired brands" attitude shines through, you know your "friends" are full of shit. They have appreciation only for the fancy, the show-off, the luxury, but not the craftsmanship. Loved it! I've been hoping and waiting to see this since I got my first Swiss watch, a Tissot, in the late 90s. This is even more amazing than I thought they were. The attention to detail, quality, design, professionalism etc is just perfect. Tissot is a highly overlooked Swiss brand by those who don't know much about them and they deserve all the love and attention they get from watch enthusiasts and buyers in general. Thank you so much for the video and sharing with us your lucky experience of being given a full tour of the headquarters along with their early watches in their vault. All this great content and in 4K too! Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks again.

Great content and thanks to Tissot for letting us take a tour! But I find it hard to believe that Teddy flew out to Switzerland just for one watch company. There must be more content coming from Switzerland, right?

Teddy & his team are probably the only watch reviewers that have ever been granted access to a Swiss Watch headquarters like this, it’s astounding. Am glad a Swiss giant like Tissot gave that opportunity to probably my favorite watch reviewer, I feel humbled as well as a witness. I’m putting on my Tissot Watch today to celebrate this video! Congrats Teddy & team! And thank you Sylvain Dolla! Appreciate you thinking of us as Teddy’s followers! I’ll be buying another Tissot soon..
The thing is that Tissot give to a lot of people the joy to wear amazing quality watches EVERYDAY! we don't have all the money to buy 10k watches every year!
People who look down on Tissot are just ignorant, in my opinion. Tissot has an amazing heritage and a catalog that appeals to a wide range of watch aficionados.
These are high end watches. It upsets those who paid hopelessly too much for their watches. That PRS in blue, PRX etc is every bit as good as some other popular brands at more than twice the price.
Wow!! Absolutely brilliant video, I have just bought my first Tissot, a Blue PRX Powermatic 80 with leather strap and seeing the Crono version being made makes me want to get one. The warehouse is stunning, I envy you being allowed in.
Kudos to Tissot for giving you this kind of access, so many brands of their size would never allow cameras to roll in the areas they allowed you to film. Seeing that watchmaker assemble the PRX Chrono was fantastic.
You just put the Telemeter on my potential to buy list. Also, please put out more content with Kevin! You guys have a great chemistry together and always end up looking at fantastic pieces.
How does Teddy do it? Amazing content awesome interviews and he shows us alternative watches at different price points really giving his subscribers quality content. Well done Teddy.
Tissot nailed it with all of these new models! What a trip this must’ve been! My collecting has progressed to where I am more comfortable now investing in what the industry would call “luxury” class eg Tudor, Breitling, etc even though you could consider any watch over $200 bucks luxury. But I’ve never owned a Tissot and always wanted to. I currently have an Oris and Alpina in this pre luxury mid-range. With this new PRX series I think I found the perfect piece to complement that category of my collection. Great video.
I think Tissot is one of the best and nicest looking watches which also offers the best value, no other Swiss brand can top Tissot in terms of value and price, Alpina is like 3x the price of most Tissot and I find it looks so ugly, Hamilton are also about 2x the price of a similar Tissot and also usually uglier.
No one else is doing it quite like Teddy is! Teddy you are leading the watch enthusiast UA-cam pack. I enjoy your videos so much, so much attention to detail!
Just because Tissot is affordable to middle income people like me, doesn't make them less prestige? look at their history? Because of them millions could afford to wear a Swiss watch. Looking at their craftsmanship is no different from those folks at Rolex? Many brands in my opinion are just inflated.
It is funny how us as enthusiasts may snob certain releases every now and then. However, it is amazing to see the amount of man power/hand work that goes into assembling an entry level time piece. Thanks for the work Teddy.
When you think of the difference between microbrands and a brand with extensive history, it's hard to watch this video and not place a great value - artificial or not - on such a incredible history in watch making.
@@AV84USA I didn't ask you what SHINOLA was, terrible name btw. I was making a comment about the weight and value history and reputation of a brand has. It is a value that a sapphire crystal, random ETA movement and generic design like shinola has - will never obtain unless it somehow becomes relevant for decades to come.
@@mad0uche Tissot is relegating itself to “microbrand” history when they slap a stock Valjoux movement into an outsourced case and press in the crystal. SHINOLA adds more refinement to their boxed ETA movements, ESPECIALLY with a display back. Tissot Digging up old designs to replicate only serve to remind people that they are no longer that company, although they have had a very rocky past as far as quality goes (my first Tissot was $50 at Kmart in the 90’s) SHINOLA is absolutely irrelevant as a watch brand, and yet it’s still out finishing Tissot, which is unfortunate.
I bought my wife a Tissot Powermatic 80 movement watch 4 years ago. It's been working FLAWLESSLY ever since, +/- 3 sec / day ever since! No maintenance, no issues. Paid 600€ brand new in their store, they threw in a FREE 1st maintenance visit!

This comment has a good person vibe to it 😊 nice of you to note and appreciate. I’ve had my Tissot for 22Y and it won’t leave my collection. Wish you well with your watches and health.
Staggering the amount of processes a watch goes through at TISSOT from conception to the final destination the customer. Great content Teddy.
That blue PRS516 looks amazing.
Enfin la PRX 35 avec le powermatic 80 !!! Je l’aime déjà 😍
Et quel plaisir de voir quelqu’un parler français dans la vidéo 🤩
As always, thank you for giving us these incredible videos Teddy!
Wow. I love tissot a lot more after watching this amazing video. Beautiful and affordable watches made with precision.
This was just outstanding - huge fan of the Tissot Heritage line and would love to see a sector dial rerelease. Well done, Teddy! 🇺🇸➡️🇨🇭
Just ordered the chrono . Can’t wait for it to arrive !
Great to see they are making prx 35mm in automatic. Wish they would make 40 or 38mm chronographs tho like the heritage 1948
As a fan of Tissot and a person who recently retired after 40+ years as a Supply Chain professional I found this video to be very interesting and informative. Good job Teddy!!!
👆👆Thanks for watching and Commenting send a direct message right away we got something special for you
Great content and thanks to Tissot for letting us take a tour! But I find it hard to believe that Teddy flew out to Switzerland just for one watch company. There must be more content coming from Switzerland, right?
The Gentleman Powermatic 80 was my first Swiss automatic. Also own a Visodate black dial for tuxedo wear. Really appreciate Tissot so warmly opening its doors to Teddy and his fans. Solidifies my appreciation for and loyalty to Tissot.
Love Tissot-one of my favorite watch brands. Great quality watches for affordable prices. Currently wearing the Tissot Gentleman while watching this!
Me too man haha black one with the date on it silver bracelet , Swiss matic
great watch for the price I agree
Oh gosh this is getting me hyped. Can't wait for the full variations on that 35mm automatic PRX...
Those look just like high end watches, i dont know how people look down on Tissot. Love them 👌🏽.
People who look down on Tissot are just ignorant, in my opinion. Tissot has an amazing heritage and a catalog that appeals to a wide range of watch aficionados.
@@jessem_i31 i agree brother 👌🏽❤️
These are high end watches. It upsets those who paid hopelessly too much for their watches. That PRS in blue, PRX etc is every bit as good as some other popular brands at more than twice the price.
Wow!! Absolutely brilliant video, I have just bought my first Tissot, a Blue PRX Powermatic 80 with leather strap and seeing the Crono version being made makes me want to get one.
The warehouse is stunning, I envy you being allowed in.
This was fantastic Teddy .Loved the experience..Thanks for sharing ..I wish you could go to every Swiss made watch building..
One the important reasons for me collecting watches is the level of hand craftsmanship still involved. I marvel at the watchmakers’ patience and skill
Fantastic content! I love when brands are involved like this. Hope to see more from Tissot this year!
👆👆Thanks for watching and Commenting send a direct message right away we got something special for you
Kudos to Tissot for giving you this kind of access, so many brands of their size would never allow cameras to roll in the areas they allowed you to film.
Seeing that watchmaker assemble the PRX Chrono was fantastic.
You just put the Telemeter on my potential to buy list. Also, please put out more content with Kevin! You guys have a great chemistry together and always end up looking at fantastic pieces.
As a watch enthusiast, knowing about the history of a company is one of the many aspects I love about this pursuit. Thanks Teddy. Cleveland rocks.
That was awesome Teddy! Crazy organization in there and love to see the passion in all of the workers🙌❤
The black Telemeter looks amazing!
How does Teddy do it? Amazing content awesome interviews and he shows us alternative watches at different price points really giving his subscribers quality content. Well done Teddy.
My dad got a Tissot for his 21st birthday, back in 1950. I have that watch now, and it still runs.
TISSOT!! Fusion of cutting edge Technology, History, Economics and Human resources blended with Passion! ....KEEP IT UP , GOOD LUCK !
Excellent video, really enjoyed it. Thanks Teddy. For what it's worth I'd like to see behind the scenes at the Oris HQ.
We can do more in the future! With things opening up it will be easier to pull off.
@Swissguard Were you able to confirm?
Think its awesome that Teddy can actually sit down meet and talk with the CEO of TIssot.
Amazing video! More content like this would be great. Maybe some independent brands in the future if possible!! Keep up the amazing content
No one else is doing it quite like Teddy is! Teddy you are leading the watch enthusiast UA-cam pack. I enjoy your videos so much, so much attention to detail!
I hate that I’m at work right now and can’t peep this till later
Have a good day at work, my friend!
@@TeddyBaldassarre Hey, thanks!
More content like this. The tour of Tissot's facilities was fabulous. Good work!
Tissot is an excellent value for money brand! The new watches look great but we need a 39mm or 40mm Seastar… Tissot, let’s make this happen! :)
What a wonderful insight into all aspects of Tissot. Their archive gave me goosebumps, and their CEO was a charming chap with broad knowledge.
Really? I don’t see Tissot doing even as much as Shinola does on their watch and case packing, and they are 100% hype.
@@AV84USA Not sure what your comment is relevant to, you mentioned Tissot then the rest is nonsense.
@@mad0uche Shinola is a much hyped microbrand that does more with their outsourced components before stamping their logo on them than Tissot does.
Tissot Digging up old designs to replicate only serve to remind people that they are no longer that company, although they have had a very rocky past as far as quality goes (my first Tissot was $50 at Kmart in the 90’s)
SHINOLA is absolutely irrelevant as a watch brand, and yet it’s still out finishing Tissot, which is unfortunate.
Very interesting video. I am the proud owner off a PR 50 Chrono Nascar since december 2007. Your slogan "Gold value at silver price" is certainly right!! One day I will visit Le Locle and off course the Tissot headquarters!
He is so happy during the tour, like a small boy :D It really made my day, I love this video
I don't know where to start off ! I have no words to describe how happy I'm to see someone like Teddy to interview and tour Tissot's Facility. I felt I was taking a trip to Disney World of Watches. Thus, I'm excited to see the new upcoming pieces on the market that are about to be released.
Thank you for sharing this tour at Tissot in Le Locle, Teddy.
Best regards.
I have my first Tissot arriving in a couple weeks. This is making me all the more excited. I'm really JDM focused but Tissot is one of the only Swiss manufacturers that has caught and kept my eye - SO stoked, this video could not have come at a better time!!
Simply impressive! When the small PRX was displayed by the CEO, you could hear Courtney squeal. And Teddy smiled.
My very first Swiss watch was a Tissot. I also gifted one to a close friend. Great quality and designs. A powerhouse in the watch making industry.
its amazing, they dont make pretentious products. They treate each time piece with so much respect even the ones in archive. The histroy is enticing. Well done
I bought my first Tissot in Switzerland after climbing one the Swiss Alps. I realize I needed a watch that can tell Altitude because the no Rolex can do it I had to rely on a Tissot T Touch and I loved it! It had so much info everything I need now is in my hands. I respect Tissot more nowdays.
Purchased the PRX Chrono / panda with you guys, this video is just the icing on top!
Love it!
I have to respect the professionalism of the employees of Tissot. That prx 35 is a gem.
I actually think you should more of this journalistic interviews. It's great for the industry. I love Tissot, and it's the first time when I saw how they are built, and got me closer to the brand.
I live in Switzerland now and I'm thinking to do them a visit. :)
Breathtaking…Can’t wait to order my 1st Tissot!
Worth watching for the 35mm PRX mechanical alone.
Nobody has said it but the last lady doing the tour around the warehouse is freaking gorgeous wow! Awesome video Teddy!
Congrats to this video ! I’m a Tissot fan since the 80’s when I was working for ETA in Grenchen and working as an apprentice on the first Swatch assembly line. The ETA plant could be by the way a very interesting place for a video like this seeing how they fabricate the movements.
Dude…this is fantastic!!!!! Thank you Teddy for treating us with this tour! Would be incredible if you could do a Nomos Glasshuette tour next, perhaps?
What a great experience and thank you for inviting your community to join you on what looked like a great day of discovery and interest.
