You should go to 49th and 3rd, there's a sick grind spot and few stair sets. Also, go to 47th and 2nd, there is a cool open plaza as-well-as a reallyyy cool stair section with flat ground and grinds if you go inwards on 47th.

Fluffy there aren’t a ton on the upper west or east side but riverside park is good, they’re rebuilding a new skatepark on like 110th. There is also the monument on like 89-91ish. They’re both cool.

The Nature and the beautiful man built structures are nice, but the reality, the peace and tranquility is not as entertaining as a jumping city with things happening all over at the same time. It's also hard to deny the beauty of the architecture of NYC. Bottom line; NYC wins.

Hate cities...but the flip side is that country/rural areas have far fewer skate spots unless you find a parking lot (that is actually paved).

I'm a mix of both, I do like a city to visit, can't beat a skate trip to London, Paris or Barcelona. But where I live in the UK is quite rural. I don't know, there's just something so peaceful and relaxing about the tranquility of the countryside. But then again, in the UK. There's a city 20 miles out from me, so it's kinda nice to have that mix.

I've skated all those spots, Columbus circle is definitely one of my favorites.
I would say mid sized cities vs your opinion on large places like NY, LA, Chicago, Houson, Phili, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin VS Portland, Oregon. Fresno, Tucson, Mesa. Obviously you can't fly all willy nilly but I'm curious if you could provide insight to what you've seen over your travels of parks at general towns, mid cities, vs large cities.

I prefer cities. I live in Connecticut, and love going to New York. It's just a different vibe than suburbia. Although I definitely have love for where I live too. Best of both worlds via metro north railroad.

For me, it depends on the city. If it is a city with a lot of history, which many European capitals are, I enjoy them a lot. I also enjoy the countryside and beautiful nature, though. I've recently been to both Edinburgh and Amsterdam, and I really enjoyed both a lot, but also enjoyed the Scottish Highlands, so I think it's a tie for me, depending on the city of course.
