I'm a street skater of 20 years and I skate daily pretty much everywhere I need to go. I've pulled off some insane recoveries, a couple almost as dramatic as 3:15 but I guarantee that man saw his life flash before his eyes. His skills prevented him getting hurt, injuring or scaring anyone else much it seems. Still, super reckless, at least he had a helmet but I never use one, just wrist guards. I'm considerate though and wouldn't endanger pedestrians like that, flexing for the camera can get people killed, especially street skating somewhere busy.

Yea, this stunt could have easily gone sideways. It shows that sometimes you have a goal in mind, but it doesn't always execute according to plan. Being a skater myself I am surprised about the amount of comments praising this skater. He didn't do anything extraordinary, simple moves really.

OMG that save @3:22, love it. I messed up my shoulder a few weeks back when I hit a tram line, can't wait to get back on 8 wheels (oh no damn I'm on 6 these days) after seeing this, great stuff. Also, i'm really quite impressed with the quality of the asphalt over there, I thought USA didn't really bother about potholes and stuff, but that's not the case for NYC then?

3:20 was the most scariest navigating and recovery I've seen from the stuttering skater!

This was the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while.
The thumbnail needs to be the skater going backwards or something, not too random people on city bikes.

Looked like the skater tried to drop you at first but when he couldn't do that he started hot dogging and luckily didn't go down while going backwards. I noticed you started following you own lines so you didn't get closed out later on. Really amazing footage and beautiful riding by the both of you.

I've always chosen bikes but I have a lot of respect for people shredding on skates. It's amazing how they flow through complex parts of cities with ease.
