Maybe we (perhaps unconsciously) seek out interactions with like minded people and any non like minded people we encounter in that environment are far more likely to be "triggered." Perhaps that's part of the phenomen. I genuinely try to expand my horizons, hence me being here.

Perhaps some form of confirmation bias.
Maybe we (perhaps unconsciously) seek out interactions with like minded people and any non like minded people we encounter in that environment are far more likely to be "triggered."
Perhaps that's part of the phenomen.
