Oh, thanks. I suppose it is a labor of love, because I do love the place. Even though it's made me sweat and ache so much! 😂 I'm glad you're enjoying the series, I never even dreamed I would be making this many videos over so many days 😊
I've made a start 😅 it's on tonight's video. I hope you enjoy it 🤞 Spoiler alert, I've opened up a can of worms 😅 it's going to take me ages to rescue the woodland.
Nope, the house is empty now. The old owner passed away. The house will probably be sold at some point in the future. I hope it takes a while to sell, as I've got loads to do! 😅😂
@@martinthegardenguy And we want to watch you clean it up! If it does sell, maybe the new owner will want you to continue (and actually pay you!) I hope so because it would be interesting to see the evolution of the property.
Well, Martin progress is being made! The skip will be gone and your gardener’s entry is now usable. 👏 It will be rewarding for you to chip the clipped branches into mulch and start clearing the woodland. I look forward to the day when you get to work the flower beds! 😊 Have a good week!
Haha, I've now realized I've got to scrape all the soil off the gardeners driveway as well now 😅 I'm adding it to my list. I don't want to get my van dirty 😂
I was thinking when you zipped up that jacket you don't need it done up or even on if the weather is like a spring day. I love watching garden transformation videos because they are weirdly relaxing. Seeing something messy getting cut back and neatened up is so satisfying. 🙂
Indeed, it is very rewarding 😊 although I don't generally notice until I'm editing the videos later on in the day 😂 I have my head down and am normally in autopilot mode when working 😁 Thanks for the comment 👍
I'm not sure. It could be months until it sells, maybe even a year. Although in all likelihood, I'd struggle to fit this in with my paid work anyway. It's a pretty big place 😅
@@martinthegardenguy good to hear your dance card is full. Tho I would expect you to get paid if you were kept on. Doing it for free right now out of the goodness of your heart ❤️ (MD gardening takes care of a number of estates paid)

Yippee! I love this series & its never ending path & garden. Wow - a gardener's entrance - the original owners must have been really well off. I'm sure there must be former servant's quarters too. I'm so happy you've found old photos of the garden - I can't wait to see all of them! BTW, I've named your little remote "Moe" (LOL).
Fingers crossed, it'll be ready tonight 🤞😅 or Saturday if my energy levels can't hold up 😂 I'm glad you are enjoying them, it makes it all worthwhile. Thanks ☺️
And again a satisfying episode of Martin's neverending gardenstory! The road wasn't as wide then and the flowers along the barn were lovely. But boy, quite a promotion, your very own entrance 🤩
They were far heavier than they looked 😅 They certainly don't make them like that anymore. I'll try and get them in one of the upcoming videos. Maybe I'll try and get some plants in them and pop them on either side of the driveway 🤞
Hi Martin! So glad the skip will be outta there soon and you can move on to the next section! I selfishly want your videos longer, hey a 2-hour episode would be crazy pants! 😉Ok Ok, wishful thinkin I know. Martín! I just finished painting my wrought iron fence. It took 30+ hours over the last three weeks. It was overwhelming at first, but I did it in sections, just like you. Your task is much larger, but you are showing so much progress. I’m looking forward to you opening up the woodland. Great job. ❤
Oh wow, 30 hours total 😅 I feel your pain. I've had to paint similar iron fences myself. The particular intricate detail ones are the worst! 😂 well done, a very smart way to tackle such a job.
I would say you've already had a good nibble around the edges of that elephant! Please can you remove the glass bottle from the spouting on the road side of the black building. I imagined those 2 heavy planters full of yellow primroses, one either side of the closed gate, on the inside. Well done again.
Just to let you know, in service there are only two times when the hired staff use the front entrance; the first time you arrive and the last time you leave. Glad you know your place. 😅 Also glad you took care of the vegetation over hanging the verge. I hate it, as a pedestrian, having to step into the road because a householder is too lazy to take care of a privet hedge or whatever properly.
I do hope so, it won't be long before we find out. Normally, they last 3-4 years, but they do self propagate underground. So there is a good chance that some are still there 😊🤞

Anyway, take care and God bless you and your sweet family. Sincerely, Diane from Missouri. 😊😊
Haha, if you get one, Diane, don't do what I do and spend most of my time just driving it around instead of actually mowing grass! 😂 They are quite expensive, though, so don't be surprised if your husband runs off in shock 😂
