When I was a kid we would take leftover pizza and reheat it by putting it cheese side down first, crisping it up like this then frying the crust in the cheese grease....
I make these all the time! I put cheddar and parmesan on the skillet first before the mozzarella because they get crispier faster. As soon as they melt over medium high heat, I put the toppings on (including more mozzarella) and cover for 2 minutes or so until everything is hot and melty. The bottom is nice and crispy in less than 5 minutes. Less than 5 carbs for the whole thing.

Most of us don't bother with them, but they're used primarily at fancier dinner parties, and usually by servers far more skilled than most of us. and I use to spend a lot of time making it from scratch.
Now, I just mix a small can of tomato paste with a can of Rotel.......

Made this all the time as a kid (just the "crust" though), and then when I started keto as an adult I discovered that I could throw sauce/pepperoni/parmesan/pepper flakes on it and call it pizza. So great, and only a non-stick pan and a spatula to clean up.

I make my own pizza sauce. 1/2 cup crushed tomato (it's called pasata) add some water to thin it out and add some crushed garlic, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, olive oil red pepper flakes mix it up and spread on pizza. You could cook the sauce a bit to get the raw tomato taste out if you like. Cost $0.50

Yes! I've also bought tomato paste when it's on sale 49 cents a can, and make sauce and freeze it in a muffin tin then pop into a zip bag and keep in the freezer for a perfect amount any time, that thaws in the micro fast.

I made this just now. I used a 10-inch pan but made a smaller version (probably 6 inches) for 1 serving. I was worried about the cheese spreading, but it didn't! It held its shape. Holy crap, where has this recipe been all my life? I've been low-carbing for 4 years now, and I'd given up on an easy pizza. Glass of red wine, heaven. This is 90% of the experience of eating "normal" pizza to me, so I feel no need to ever cheat in this department.

Anyone watching this video now who’s scared to make it: DON’T BE. Get yourself a pan, keep the heat at just below medium, you can spray a little bit of olive oil spray if you’re afraid of sticking. Put the cheese in, just as it starts to bubble around the edges add your toppings. LEAVE IT until you turn the edge up and see that it’s clearly dark golden brown to black if you’re brave enough. I poured out some of the excess oil before putting the ‘pizza’ into a paper towel lined plate. Dark brown was enough for me to get a CRUNCH!! Really tasted just like a thin crust pizza!!

I could buy a bottle of vodka for that, they're out of their minds! ohhhh another one that's really good is the coconut la croix with rum, I even add this liquid water enhancer that I found at Kroger called stur. It's all natural and sweetened with stevia and the one I add is the coconut water and pineapple flavor....so great for the summer!

Yes... So many of the stores carry the Rao's Marinara but this is the first store I found that actually carries the pizza sauce. Finding any low carb products in my area which is quite rural is very difficult. I have to order so many of the items. I was very pleased that I was able to find Bob's Red Mill Superfine Almond Flour 3 Pound Bag for just $13.98 at Sams Club yesterday. For example you can't find Erythritol anywhere around here... it has to be mail ordered.

I finally tried this for dinner last night. Wow! Amazing pizza! I will definitely be making this again. I did not have pizza sauce so I took two tablespoons of tomato paste, added some water to thin it out some, and Italian seasoning for my sauce. My favorite toppings are pepperoni, sausage, and hot peppers. Sometimes mushrooms and olives. Thanks so much for walking me through that because I would have taken it off the stove too soon if not for your encouragement to leave it on the stove just a little longer.

Thanks for this recipe, Wesley . When I first started dieting, I used the LA Tortilla whole wheat tortillas, they have like 3 net carbs for the small ones. Then I joined a keto group on Facebook and they all screamed "that's not keto!" At my post because it had wheat. I've been suffering pizza withdrawals ever since. Did I mention that I live around the corner from Domino's? And that their drivers pass my house a hundred times a day? Yes, the struggle is real!
