The silicon rounds are perfect in place of the parchment paper.
If you use your tortilla press regularly I found cutting a gallon zip lock bag apart and use it instead of parchment paper. It is reusable. Just wipe clean when your done. When they are dry just put them inside the press and store them together. I love watching you girls.

I love my tortilla press! I buy parchment circles and use them all the time. I have a silicone mat under my tortilla press so it doesn’t scratch my counter. I even use it to flatten a tube of sausage into rounds so they cook up in a flash. I make small pizza dough rounds for individual pizzas using flat head dough.

I love Mayra's newer keto tortilla made only with Psyllium and coconut flour. It makes a good amount of dough. So I keep leftover dough in the fridge for tortillas on demand. It also has the texture of corn tortillas but super satisfying, soft and the aroma 🌮mmmm.

I love those spinach wraps! I've been eating them all the time. They taste good, they hold up well, they're easy to make, each wrap basically has an egg in it, you get your veggies. They're practically a miracle.
Can you lose weight eating spinach wraps? Or at least will they not cause weight gain?
@@underated17 I noticed the scale started to move again for me once I started eating them regularly. It really depends on what you put it inside it, though. I would do a little cream cheese, mayo, mustard, sometimes cheese, black pepper, sliced turkey, and fresh baby spinach for crunch.
@@reppy Wow. Maybe the scale wouldn't move too much even if you at the wrap daily? I thought as long as you avoid sugar you should be okay.
@@underated17 Calories is the only thing that matters for weight loss. But id say the spinach wraps are better than normal wraps calorie wise. But as reppy said, its what you put inside the wrap and how many you eat that matter. I'd avoid mayo if your goal is to lose weight, go low fat Sour cream instead. Mayo has insane calorie count per gram. Quark if you have that in your country is even better (for calories & has good protein) it taste a bit like sour cream.
@@blodhevn2353 I heard that insulin is what causes weight gain hence why keto diet works so well for weight loss.

Hey ❤…. I love your channel. I just wanted to throw a flipping trick. I use two frying pans, and rather than trying to flip with a flipper, I just tip the contents right into an already preheated second frying pan. This method is especially great when mass producing thing like wraps or pancakes…. Hop this helps

Hi! I suggest learning to flip food in your skillet. I suggest starting with a cold skillet and dry beans. Practice tipping the pan away from you then give it a little flip. When you master that, you can use it when cooking vegetables. For tortillas or pancakes you give it a bigger flip into the air, high enough to flip over then catch in the pan. You could use a cold tortilla and pan to practice.

A "recipe" I enjoy for breakfast is frying 2 scrambled eggs, spinach, and 1 sliced banana in butter in the same pan. I add salt and pepper to the eggs. It's quick, filling, and tasty.

Just made and ate the ones from Low carb Love. Very good! I’m thinking enchiladas next. Easier than any other clean tortilla substitute I’ve tried!
I started making the Keto Focus tortillas and they really are good. The only frustration is that no matter what they always come out about that size and I wish I could get them to be bigger. But the flavor is great and they are so easy to make.
I just love that funny music you put in the background! It’s subtle but it always makes me smile, for some reason!!

I made this with no almond flour and 2/3 cup of Lupin flour. Very good.
Los tacos No. 1 in New York makes shells out of Monterey jack cheese high heat till crispy, flip and crisp up. I do this at home works great.
Mayrah's wraps are fantastic! I've made them for lunchvwith sandwich fixings and as breakfast burritos... equally if you made a cream sauce shrimp or chicken a la King filling..... you have a decadent supper option... topped with a sauce... oh my! Definitely going to try the second option wrap, looks amazing for Taco Tuesdays or mini pizzas!

I made a batch of those spinach tortillas and in half of batch I added Xanthan gum to see if it would be different and I think I liked better with Xanthan gum in it, it was fluffier! Got to try other recipe, love it!

First of all, thank you for your videos! I am in the middle of making the spinach-egg wraps, and they are incredibly easy to make and delicious. I added salt, black pepper, turmeric, onion powder and garlic powder, and they are very good. I can confirm that they do not taste eggy or earthy. They just taste GOOD! I will be leaving this comment on the Low Carb Love channel too.

Oh Sarah! You have a wicked streak in you! LOL These look really good. The last time I made tortillas, I used a low carb store bought and the next morning my inflammation was off the charts. These will definitely be in my meal rotation.
I'm very fond of the Stouffer spinach souffle, and I bet (based on its ingredients) adding a little parm (and the garlic powder) would make the wrap even better.

When making corn tortillas by hand you would normally cover them with a towel & let them sit for a few mins to soften up.
My husband loves the keto focus tortillas, I add a few drops of sweet corn extract to give it a lot more corn flavor. Great for Tacos, I'm going to try the spinach ones too.
What ingredients are in the corn flavoring? I have never heard of it. We're would you buy it?

Thanks for this. I'm going to make the spinach ones for sure. But I'll make them smaller. If you are looking for more recipes to try, you might try 3 Ingredient Chia Flour Tortillas by Cook with Mel. She grinds the chia seeds, but you can buy them already that way, and I would say definitely add some seasoning.

Love Maya's Low Carb Love. Months ago, I tried her spinach tortilla but must not have done it right because they didn't taste good (spices would help which is an easy fix), but the texture when eating it was not good at all. Maybe I just didn't make it right. I was so hopeful becauses I love making breakfast burritos.

You need to slide the tortilla off the pan onto a plate and then flip the whole thing back onto the other side in the pan. I use this technique for eggs all the time so I can cook both sides.
Haven’t tried the tortilla recipe, but the chicken salad recipe is good!
