Any idea where to look whe the fan works but the heat changes doesn't?? No acc, no power windows and no heat changer.
No power to the ac button. The ac clutch works
    Heat to the cabin
No voltage over the fuse to power windows.
    Any suggestions??

Thanks for that. I am surprised they don't put the resistor pack behind the speed selection switch, given its Ford like reliability. But I will carefully cut my way in as per your suggestion.

Were you able to access it by cutting?

    Hi Alex
I have done everything you suggest
But I’ll be buggered if I can see the old resistor, let alone get in there with a torx drive!
You really need to take that RH vent out, but can’t see it’s possible with the dash in the way!

Hi Steve. Have you managed to swap the resistor please? I'm going through the same nightmare. To remove dash seem to be impossible, unless you are willing to remove airbags, steering wheel and dash included all wiring harness and I don't know what else as aircon pipes are going in to engine bay. What a stup... design.

Do not do this , it can be easily changed without removing dash or cutting , just remove trim below steering wheel, remove one heater duct and flex the other one back , the resistor can be easily reached , my hands are like shovels and there is plenty of room

Which side is your steering wheel at?

Thank you, I think that is the easiest way to replace this part. I did it yesterday, removing the duct is a bit tricky but it's better than cutting some holes or removing the whole dashboard. Steering wheel left side.

Don't do this, take the time and remove it properly

Honestly I would suggest doing it properly as well. It's my mate in the video. He wanted me to upload it.

Agree. David have you come a cross a video or tutorial how to remove dashboard? I think I saw all youtube vids. I'm half way through but can't immagine to remove the whole top...

David please tell me how? Is it even possible to remove it without taking out also steering wheel and without damaging aircon and pipes that going to engine bay? I have removed 4 bolts on sides, 4 under both under the both top storage compartments, 2 under the shifter and still barely moved the dash. I ve searched everything possible without any results or answers. Please help me and others in the same situation. Year 2006-2012 is different to previous model. Plastic dash is riveted to steel frame.

@@luke_cowis You have to drill out the rivets and remove other parts like heater control etc out the way, drop the steering down and pull dash out dosent need removing fully as you can access it without fully removing

@@luke_cowis Luke just take your time and slowly remove it all, its not a quick fix but yoj won't burst wires or parts if you just go slow. Drill the riveted and then replace with tex screws when building back together
