I was searching how to remove air vents in Mondeo MK3,
becasuse this Mondeo has the same air vents like Transit MK7.
Fortunately I found it here ! - Thank you for the video.

That roller thing that turns the air on and off has gone totally loose in mine so the air is always pumping out

I fixed mine with a bit of stainless mig wire 1.2mm to replace the arm. First I heated a throw away bit of wire and pushed it through to make a hole each end of the broken arm socket. It is better and stronger than new

Do you mean the roller swith on the right that turns the air on and off or just the bits on the back of the thing the man removed, cos my switch is knackered, it's gone totally loose and does nothing, so the air is alway on and always pumping out when the heater is on

@@BillSikes. I mean the bit (plastic arm) that connects the roller to the inside rubber flap that turns the air on and off. I dumped the plastic and replaced it with wire with the method in my first post.
Later I also replaced the plastic arm that connects all the louvres but I did that differently. I got a large (fat) cable tie and cut a bit off it. Then I punched small holes along it at the space of each louver and with the small side cutters cut about 0.5 mm out of the bottom of each hole. Then I heated it to remove the distortion created by the punch. Then it snaps right in to the holes on each louver. Works like a charm. Note: To fix the roller arm on the middle of the dash is easy. The side roller arms are different for me and it requires (as far as I can tell) to remove the dash to get at it. My model is transit VM MK7 2008.

My on off dial on the right hand side of that exact air vent has stopped working. Would you know how to fix it or at the very least get into it? Kind regards

The main problem is not usually the vent ! It is the dial to the right that operates the inside on/off vent which becomes loose and fails to work. How do you fix this?
