I like the Pacifiers but I'm really not very good with them. It's hard for me to judge where the spread is hitting relative to the target reticle. Especially on the Chieftain. I tend to aim too high. They do what they do very well though. And although I'm not normally a fan of Screening Shell, it helps a lot if you can also have a corrosive secondary weapon on there to not mess up the reload times.

I was the same for ages. The first time I flew one was back in the Beta when it was released, before FDev "fixed" it, and it flew like a pig. Put me off for the longest time. I only tried it again relatively recently. I like its agility, and versatility. It's basically like flying a Vulture with 4 extra hardpoints. At first I wasn't keen on the 3 class 1s but now I prefer them simply because of what you can do with them. You can either put Cytos on them and hard hitting hull weapons everywhere else, or shield strippers on the class 3s and Cannons/Advanced Missile Racks in the class 1s to be a module assassin. She can be as tanky as the Krait Mk 2 while being faster, way more agile, and considerably less expensive.
In the end Rick, no one has to convince you at all. We all fly what we like. No one can convince me to eat Marmite as i don't like it, i will eat Peanut Butter! If you don't like it, sell it and use the ship you enjoy flying. Kaethena also loves the T10, i tried it, (following her build), I hated it, I sold it. Fly Safe Rick.
@@richardswede That's very true. If you don't like a ship, don't use it because someone else thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. We all fly differently. I don't like the FDL and no build in the world can convince me it's good, because it just doesn't suit my flying style. That's kind of the beauty of this game though - we choose ships based on what we enjoy, rather than what is "The Best". And long may that continue!
Nice, I have chieftain like this too, just a gimballed variant. Shot range inertial impact bursts and overcharged/screening shell frags.
Cytos and Pacifiers are my default close range set-up. Sweet :)
