Load up a video where your build fights a 3 wing of elite NPC's , not master or expert one's ...
@pgamingchannel4926 Well firstly the life support isn't reinforced. It's about the flimsiest you can put on a ship. D class and light weight. Because it's never likely to get used. As for the power plant, the only reason I go with Armoured isn't for the increased module health at all. It's because the mod gives you both an increase to power AND heat efficiency at the same time. As I said before, I don't like running hot power plants because they cause more problems than they solve, in my opinion. The one exception to that is on the Vulture, because the power plant is so undersized that it's practically a requirement to overcharge it no matter how you build the ship. For the vast majority of other cases, I prefer to go with a cooler plant so my weapons don't build up as much heat. I'm curious why you feel 0E shield boosters are "hideous". They work in your build because they're carrying proportionally more of the shield load. Replacing the ones in the build I posted gives you only 15% more shields for almost 20% increase in total power draw. For me that's too high a cost. But to each their own. :) I'm also not really talking about speed when I talk about agility. I'm talking about how sluggish the ship feels to fly. Inertia etc. However much nonsense you may think it is, it does make a difference in how the ship handles however big/small or fast/slow the ship is. Which is why I asked if you'd tested the build. If I were going to fight a wing of Elite NPCs, such as a Spec Ops wing in a Conflict Zone, I wouldn't use this build at all. That's not what it was designed for. I would change the loadout completely and probably the entire shield setup. This build was designed to giggle like a schoolgirl with a rain of hot lead. :) But hey, like I always say, if a build works for you, go with it and enjoy it. There's no one right way to build a ship, and no real point getting into arguments over it. :)
The Type 10 one of my favourite ships in the game. Hands down. She isn't graceful. She's a sledgehammer with a spoiler. And I make no bones about that, lol. She has more damage potential than any of the other Large ships if you use her the way she wants to be used.
This is great! Love me some Type 10. A couple of small beams with thermal vent might be nice for the over heating. But then that's less dakka, so maybe not. Haha.
Yeah, if I were being sensible that's what I actually prefer to do. But like you say, less dakka and less premium ammo hahahaha. But you're right, that is a very good option.
Short Range actually does more damage than Overcharged. 5% more. And considering that anything over 2km with multicannons is a crap shoot at the best of times... I never overcharge multicannons, ever. It's a waste of ammo. :)
@@AuricomXF using autoloader on overcharged multis gets round their inherent drawback in terms of ammo. But it ties your hands in terms of using more useful experimentals. Like Incendiary or Corrosive. I've done it and it works, but it doesn't add anything to the guns other than compensating for a weakness caused by the engineering. The only thing overcharged would have to its advantage in this case, is less thermal load. But the Type 10 is like a flying refridgerator. You'll notice I never actually overheated the ship with all 9 guns firing constantly. So even that isn't really an issue.
Holey moley - if **any** ship in the game has 'dakka' - it's this!! I almost feel sorry for those poor pirates.... :) I **GOTTA** get me one of these!! :)

The worst thing in X3 Reunion is that you can't use the most powerful anti pirate destroyer in "generic" population areas. Ion Disruptor mixed with Artillery Cannon can extend the Ion's range like crazy but it lands on ships which are the closest without "discrimination".
It is, but it's expensive to run if you want to synth premium ammo. I kind of always felt laser weaponry should have its own version of synthesis, because otherwise it's just not really viable unless you want to mindlessly farm kills in scenarios way below your skill level. (says the person melting mindless ne'er-do-wells in a hazres, lol). But you get my point.
Greetings fellow Commander in the family I own a ANDACONDA CLASS SHIP AND A TYPE 10 DEFENDER MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH MULTI CANNONS ISN'T THAT GOOD AMMUNATION IS A HUGE COST FACTOR I PREFER TO BE MORE SELF-SUSTAINING I RECOMMEND BURST LASERS AND ONE BEAM LASER I DO SEE THAT WORKING VERY GOOD ON MY ANACONDA
You can't use a laser setup on a type-10 with any degree of efficiency. The distributor just can't handle it. The Anaconda is a whole different beast. It has a class 8 Distributor. What works for that doesn't necessarily work for the Type-10. There is some crossover but a lot of loadouts will struggle making the jump.
I can't even get close to this measure. I've clocked 300 something hours and still don't know what I'm doing. At all. Couldn't even play an Ev zone two without my lag going crazy. I have an mk krait 2, and I am trying everything and anything just to get good. Engineering has me lost, but I'm starting to kinda understand stand it. But getting a meta alloy is like stabbing yourself in the foot. I'm running all multicannoms also. But heck, if I know how to engineer. I'm so lost, but I love this game so much much.
Don't try to "git gud". That's something people say to people when they want to feel superior. Find your own way and your own method of playing the game, hon. The Krait Mk 2 is a great ship. She will serve you well for a long time. Listen, you'll get there eventually. I was playing a long, LONG time. So don't think you have to do it all in one go, or understand it all in one go. Engineering is... okay, the premise is that you have a lot of different guys and gals who can do different things for your ship. But to get access to them you have to do a lot of different aspects of the game. Take it slowly. See what engineers you have, and what they can do for you. Often you'll discover more engineers by using the ones you have access to. It's like a path of progression. Once you use the ones you can enough, you'll get access to other ones.
@Kaethena you are right! I went on an engineering spree after I went on a mats gathering journey. And wholly heck the difference! I really love this game. It is crazy deep. Now that I got the thruster good ish and almost completely decked the multicannons out, I'm actually seeing some progress! Thank you, muchos for the support! I will keep getting it. I will also stop saying the git good also. You're right. That is something jerks say, lol
Lol, yeah you may be right. Although a few of the weapons were engineered in such a way as to pile on as much thermal load as a burst laser. Putting the "hot" in "hot lead", haha.
@@Kaethena Imagine if there was an experimental effect that added Thermal/heat damage to your bullets if your barrels ran hot enough (i.e you start to overheat).
Oh My Kaethena, are you trying to change my view of the T10? this does look good fun. I though an All MC Gunship was pure joy, but this build surpasses it brilliantly. Hmmm do i ditch my rabid hate of the T10 and build one????????
hi commander i got another question in terms of small fighters launched from ship in your opinnion wich one is the best the guardian models ? the taipan the condor or the gu 97
It depends on the level of your AI pilot, in my opinion. Lower ranked pilots, up to maybe Master, are better off in the Taipan. The extra defense will help them. Between Master and, say, Dangerous, they're decent in a Condor. Once they get to Deadly and Elite, though, I find the GU-97 to be the best. They can use the agility to avoid almost all damage they would otherwise face. I've only tested the Guardian SLFs a few times. I don't tend to use them. The weapons they have hit hard, but two of them have an ammo supply (meaning you have to bring the SLF in periodically to rearm) and they're EXTREMELY flimsy. Meaning no one but an Elite pilot would make much use of them without being destroyed in short order.
Hello Cmdr. I see you are a PC player, your colour scheme gives that away. Is your content from Odyssey? How many PvP fights do you have because so far, I only see PvE. Truth is, this T-10 is only as powerful as your engineering & I gave up with my Combat T-10 but it makes for a Magnificent Exploration Vessel. I cannot recommend using a T-10 for Exploration enough. 2 Fighter bays 1 Guardian Trident Fighter & 1 GU-97 F Fighter. 2 SRV bay & well, Huge Fuel Tank, 5A Fuel Scoope & a mixture of AX & Human weapons just incase not forgetting the Hounds within the mix. I have Sub & liked because I do love the T-10 & I know some of you can make it work in combat, I did but only in PvE, my T-10 was Brutal in PvE Combat but I got my arse kicked in PvP everytime. I am yet to see you fighting another human. No shame in PvE, I am no PvP Combat expert. Look forward to other videos from you. 07 Cmdr & stay safe out there.
No I stopped playing before Odyssey came out. The whole space legs thing doesn't appeal to me. Unless they do more with the actual space part of the "space sim" then I'm not sure I'll be going back. My interest is in ships and engineering them. Not really engineering space suits. As for PvP, I've done a few. But I'm not a PvP player predominantly. Not in Elite. I've done it in other games before but I don't really find it fun in Elite because the "Meta" (I hate that word) is more pronounced than in other games and it narrows your creativity with how you can build your ships. Not to mention there's a noticeable penalty for losing other than time, which there isn't in other games. And I don't want to subject other people to that, or be subjected to it myself. You kind of touch on my point. Some ships just don't work in PvP, even though you get outlier pilots that can make them work. I find that too limiting. I have other games to PvP in. Often ones that balance it better. Elite isn't one of them, unfortunately. :)
@@Kaethena I didnt care about odyssey... annoyed that it's a separate game mode anyway (dumb model to further divide the playerbase as spread thin as ours too)
@@caoticfox5101 It's not that. It's that the budget Star Citizen gameplay is what they're going to be focusing their attention on for the next 5 years. Console players got shafted. But then you already paid out the nose for everything so they made their money off you. They can't be creative with space opera so they just wanted to copy Star Citizen, in a very low rent way. And I'm about as enthusiastic for playing it as I am for getting root canal surgery. I've seen Odyssey and it looks like a bit of an asset flip. Not impressed. If I want to go play a first person shooter, I'll go play one of the Borderlands games. Or Fallout 4.

Anti Guardian stuff? If you're referring to the Shield Reinforcement, the reason for that is because the Type-10 has very low base shields. And unlike Shield Boosters which increase shield health as a percentage, the Shield Reinforcement increases shield health by a flat amount. Making it useful for ships with low base shields and lots of optional internal compartments. Although they're useful for really any ship you want to do combat with. They aren't just useful for AX operations. :)

@@bernardsaavedra675 No they aren't only used fighting against Thargoids, and no they don't provide protection against Caustic damage. It's what you make of it. I don't think you can say a game is the "Worst" for not being fun enough, when you consider most of the unfinished, unplayable crap that gets shovelled out and people get asked to pay through the nose for it. Elite Dangerous has been out for 10 years now. It's gone through a lot of changes. You make your own fun in the game. It's a giant sandbox. All the previous games were the same. It isn't geared for modern gamers, not really. People who need their hand held and a giant blazing path laid out for them, or equally rabid PvP psychopaths to try and kill. Although to their credit they've tried. You have to realise the whole premise of the game is based on something 40 years old at this point.

I'm also not really talking about speed when I talk about agility.
But hey, like I always say, if a build works for you, go with it and enjoy it. There's no one right way to build a ship, and no real point getting into arguments over it. :)
Wow you are amazing at this! Bravo!
i strongly believe there should be an optional internal slot for extra ammunition. basically an ammo rack
I've been trying to find a purpose for the Type 10 I bought right after they got released and never did anything with... this'll do nicely.
"Intensify forward firepower!"
I could only imagine how ruthless this thing would be if you overcharged and belt fed all of them
Short Range actually does more damage than Overcharged. 5% more. And considering that anything over 2km with multicannons is a crap shoot at the best of times... I never overcharge multicannons, ever. It's a waste of ammo. :)
@@Kaethena oh ok I'll take that into consideration
@@AuricomXF using autoloader on overcharged multis gets round their inherent drawback in terms of ammo. But it ties your hands in terms of using more useful experimentals. Like Incendiary or Corrosive. I've done it and it works, but it doesn't add anything to the guns other than compensating for a weakness caused by the engineering.
The only thing overcharged would have to its advantage in this case, is less thermal load. But the Type 10 is like a flying refridgerator. You'll notice I never actually overheated the ship with all 9 guns firing constantly. So even that isn't really an issue.
Nice Type10 build
Holey moley - if **any** ship in the game has 'dakka' - it's this!! I almost feel sorry for those poor pirates.... :)
I **GOTTA** get me one of these!! :)
Everyone needs one of these babies in their fleet, lol. The dakka is addictive. :D
pirates: Exist
Keathena: *"No."*
this ship this type of weaponry that kind of way of flying its like a killing machine if the space or the game has a kind of top gun school you commander kaethena has to be in it
by the way this kind of demostration of fliying and the other one commander sniper something (sorry i forgot his name) when he flying a chieftain took down 20 thargoids in 2 hours are impressive both
Haha the ships make me look better than I am, honestly. But thank you.
NICE, as usual. Who'll stop the rain? LOL A little CCR for Ya.
Hahaha thank you, Rick.
I have to try this out with the premium ammo. Deleting other ships looks fun
It is. :) Go for it.
The worst thing in X3 Reunion is that you can't use the most powerful anti pirate destroyer in "generic" population areas. Ion Disruptor mixed with Artillery Cannon can extend the Ion's range like crazy but it lands on ships which are the closest without "discrimination".
What an absolute beast!
Thank you. Yeah she's definitely a flying gun platform :D
@@Kaethena indeed she is, also thank you for putting the build in the desc, definitely gonna try this baby out
@@oogabooga8689 Go for it. These videos are basically just test footage for ship builds. To show them in action. I love the Type-10. :)
Never tried a gatling only build. looks fun :3
ANACONDA turned to space DUSTTTT 😂😂🤣😂
we do a bit of cannoning
Uau!!! This is a total destruction! Great!
Yes!!! I Will build this Warmachine!
Jesus Christ, I’m guessing those multi cannons are engineered. They shredded
Yeah, they're VERY engineered, lol. The build is in the description. :)
@@Kaethena okie tank youuu
😮 Wow........It's a monster of Death. So that's why you don't like exploring......lol👍👍
LOL! Yep, that's why. I'd rather turn things into space dust hahahaha.
My god
When you start overheating with nothing but Multicannons... you know that you might've reached enough dakka. Maybe.
@@Ett.Gammalt.Bergtroll Yeah, like thermal conduit on lasers. But then you wouldn't need lasers, lol. :D
Whoa!
Oh My Kaethena, are you trying to change my view of the T10? this does look good fun. I though an All MC Gunship was pure joy, but this build surpasses it brilliantly. Hmmm do i ditch my rabid hate of the T10 and build one????????
It's great fun! There's something immensely satisfying about seeing a veritable hailstorm of lead coming out of the thing. Try it, you might like it!
Wow I love your build just got my t10 I call her the fat enforcer lol
Lol thank you! Yeah she kind of is a bit of a big girl. :D Enjoy your Enforcer!
so, in summary; bbrrrrrtttttt.
Lol, pretty much. Like the A-10 but with 8 more miniguns xD
I wonder how this performs on a cz, lol they don't even have enough time to react after you attack them!
Pretty well, honestly. I've tried it out in the past. But it's way more ammo intensive due to the nature of how buffed CZ ships are.
what engineeing and which kill warant scanner?
That HUD looks beautiful. Is it config edit or EDHM UI?
It's a config edit. The code is:
0.3, 0.05, 1.2
-0.15, 2, -0.5
1, -1.3, 0.7
that color scheme is super clean, can you share?

hi commander i got another question in terms of small fighters launched from ship in your opinnion wich one is the best the guardian models ? the taipan the condor or the gu 97
Meaning no one but an Elite pilot would make much use of them without being destroyed in short order.
how does one get the type 10 hurricane
Ship build is in the description. Buy a Type-10 and the stock modules, then do an obscene amount of engineering on them. :)
Did you just nearly overheat a T10 from just FIRING MULTICANNONS ??
Yeah it came close. I had several Incendiary leadspitters, which adds a lot of heat buildup, even on MC's.
You know I miss you, right? Lol!

Why all the anti guardian stuff when you don't need it here?
Anti Guardian stuff? If you're referring to the Shield Reinforcement, the reason for that is because the Type-10 has very low base shields. And unlike Shield Boosters which increase shield health as a percentage, the Shield Reinforcement increases shield health by a flat amount. Making it useful for ships with low base shields and lots of optional internal compartments. Although they're useful for really any ship you want to do combat with. They aren't just useful for AX operations. :)
@@Kaethena Again the question GUARDIAN Shield reinforcement package are only used fighting Thargoids because it gives you protection against Caustic Damage. If you are not fighting Thargoids, Engineered Hull reinforcement packages HEAVY DUTY/DEEP PLATING will gives you more protection
@@bernardsaavedra675 No they aren't only used fighting against Thargoids, and no they don't provide protection against Caustic damage. You're thinking of the Guardian Hull Reinforcement, which absolutely does. These are SHIELD Reinforcement packages. Totally different thing. They're used to increase shield health. Nothing to do with the ship's hull whatsoever.

Arguable. Class 4 multicannons aren't as good as people think they are. But to each their own. :)
Why is ED so funkin boring......worst game in 2024 hahahaha
