Love the variety of angles, some of them looked pretty difficult to achieve but definitely worth it! Setbacks and mistakes happen but its all part of the creative process!
If you’re trying to remove paint entirely, a range from 80 to 100 grit is best! I’m pretty sure I started with 100 then went up to 320 and finished with 400 before priming. The idea is that the more aggressive the grit is, the easier the paint will come off and you just need to smooth any of the deep scratches you make by slowly moving up to 400 grit before primer. It really depends on what you’re painting.
Thank you! I got it from Scratch Wizard. You can find their products on eBay. But I don’t recommend them. They are difficult to work with. I really recommend GrimmSpeed Omni Pak paint. You can find it anywhere.
That crack was predictable, you should have V grooved the crack and glued it with flexible parts sandable 2 part epoxy. No body fill needed, you can sand and skim with the epoxy
Those spray painting scenes are very satisfying!
They are! It’s fun to see the colors getting added

You really gotta drill a hole at the end of the crack to spread out the stress. Especially on old plastic.
