My personal opinion is I think that's the beauty in carbon fiber it doesn't have to line up if it's not on the same panel each panel could be laid differently I guess if you got like a windshield in the center of it

The way you manipulated that rap was so freaking awesome man you really are good at what you do I love how you did that you totally taught me something I know you can use heat but use it sparingly in it's all in your eye watching all that rap changes right before your eyes is unbelievable but I get it I get it a lot of people wouldn't get how that works but I get it
Thanks! I did make it harder on myself by setting the piece up that way just to line up the stitching on the pattern. If the roof wasn’t longer than 5 feet i woulda been able to use a bigger piece on the hood. It’s tricky but with practice you can do a progressive even stretch over the whole piece and not distort the pattern.

I did buy a 5D realistic CF style wrap too. It looks pretty realistic in person. But after 2 to 3 weeks it started melting. Moral of the story get a better quality ones. And also in my country its hot as hell.

Use a socket a little smaller then the clips on the nozzle. As you push from the bottom of the hood side, the clips will press together evenly and pop out the nozzle

I just wrapped my hood, and am having issues with it bubbling up in the corners of the hood scoop. Any suggestions to help fix that issue? It was fine the first day, and this morning it was just small minor bubbles right at the creases.

A have a question if you don’t mind.. I ordered some eBay wrap, I’m looking to do a very small piece. I’m going to wrap the bezel of my lower grill in a 3D carbon, my question is do you think 2k clear would have any bad effect on the wrap? Dissolve the adhesive maybe? I wanted to add multiple coats, then wet sand and polish to get it as close as possible to a real CF piece. Thanks for any advice.

I enjoy your videos man keep it up! Friendly pointers for you (I do this for a living as well,) try not to apply heat than pop up the film or stretch the film while heating. Pop it up and hold it loosely, apply heat, than do what you need to, it will help with adhesive lines. Also, roll up those sleeves, I cringed seeing that sweater under the film. All with love, peace
I’m only touching it with the tips of my fingers. It just looks like the sweater is touching from that angle. And yeah I let it relax after heating to prevent glue lines. Thanks for the tip
