- Checking out a small branch shop (Ippukushi watch shop) in the area of Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan. There are Rolex, Omega, Tudor, and Grand Seiko watches in this video. The higher price is with tax, the lower price is without (tourists don't have to pay taxes). Enjoy!
I think everyone in comment section is right - the first watch looks to be a Hulk and not a Kermit. That looks like a ceramic bezel after all.

It’s neither a Kermit nor Hulk.
It’s a Sub Date with a green bezel.
A Hulk would have had a green dial. This one looks black.
Looking again, green is just about visible, so my bad it is a Hulk!

Was in my AD last week and a guy was picking up a steel blue skydweller that had just come in on the latest Rolex delivery. He'd been waiting for 4 years! Great content as always. Love watch shopping in Japan.

There's only Burlington arcade and maybe Hatton gardens in London, but nothing to compete with Shinjuku or Nakano!

I'm weird, but my pick out of all of them would be the 39mm Explorer.
Really interesting how nondate preceramics are worth more than date ones; the 14060m in the vid without box or papers is worth more than the 16610 with box and papers. I guess purity and rarity wins in the long run. Awesome vid!

Wimbledon is great, and a hard find in the wild amongst the sea of Submariners and Daytonas. A very underrated model from Rolex.
Yea, I went to the Rolex boutique in Orlando and they had practically nothing but women’s datejusts and men’s 36 mm datejusts. But one of the 41mm datejusts that they had was the Wimbledon 2 tone, I was surprised cause it looked way more impressive in person than it does in pictures

@Austin: Ultraman only comes with leather and NATO. I bought a NOS older style Omega Speedmaster bracelet for mine and it looks quite nice.

Thanks, love these vids! It's always cool to see prices around the world. For me the one that stuck out was the vintage no date sub...about 11k and it looked clean, not bad. Other sport rolexes were priced as badly as the USA, but some deals mixed in for sure.
That was one of my favorites too...along with the 16760.
I was in the TWC store in Nakano back in February, just before the GMT all blacks were discontinued. A new one was about 1 100 000 yen. Wish I had known what would happen. They had like a dozen of them new and a few pre-owned.

If you pay those prices there is no shortage anywhere.
There are no shortages of any Rolex model at any large gray market dealer. Literally pages of each model.

Hi Austin, love the videos. Question, when shopping in Tokyo from non ADs, can you negotiate? Is it appropriate? If so, what kind of discount would you push for?
It's not really a bargaining culture, but I still always try. I've managed to get a few hundred dollars off some pieces. The last GMT that I got, they wouldn't budge because it was already priced pretty low. It really depends on the model. Rolex watches are hot, so they really don't need to go lower - they'll sell if you don't buy it. Other brands, you'll have more of a chance. But, again, I've never managed to get more than 200 USD off a price.

Why/How do Japanese stores seem to possess so much more Sports Rolex inventory compared to Stateside? I’ve been to multiple jewelry/watch shops in Chicago this summer and they have almost nothing. I saw one Coke bezel Sub last month but that was it.

They'll maybe knock off 200 USD, but you can't expect it...especially with Rolex.
