Great video Charlie. I enjoyed your thoughts on the different Rolex models. We have similar taste. Not big fan of white gold definitely yellow gold or rose gold for me. I have the GRNR, I think it’s one of the best looking GMT.🤔Charlie is 36mm too small for you to wear? I have the M126231-0023 it actually looks pretty good on my wrist.
Thanks for the support mate, glad to hear you’re enjoying the content, I really appreciate it 🙌🏻 For me the 36mm wears too small on my wrist, however, that’s just how my eye takes it! If it looks good on your wrist, then I advise wearing it and enjoying it 👌🏻💯
Another very informative video! I really like my meteorite gmt but don’t wear it very often. Wear my black dial Daytona 116500 and Batman instead. Also wear my Peter Blake and electric blue dial Omega.

Great video as always. I agree with you about GMT Master 2 white gold with meteorite dial. This watch is a sleeper. It’s not only the watch is made out of a precious metal, but it also has a very beautiful and rare dial. Sooner or later it will get discontinued either because of the bezel or because of the dial. I can’t believe that the price for GMT with meteorite dial dropped so much. It’s definitely a BUY, BUY, BUY for me.
Thanks for the support as always mate, I really appreciate it and I hope you’re doing well! 🙌🏻 You’re correct mate, it’s only a matter of time before it gets discontinued! Will prove such a collectible timepiece, it’s such a unique combination 👌🏻💯
I agree with you on the basic Explorer but I absolutely LOVE the Explorer II Polar Dial 226570 and am waiting on one from my AD as we speak. Big and rugged ...it speaks to my outdoor, wide open lifestyle.
It’s a stunning combination and a fantastic daily option, such a robust model! Hopefully you won’t be waiting much longer for the call, good luck with your purchase mate 🙌🏻💯
Finally meteorite gmt is featured and discussed . I think that piece has a huge potential Once discontinued. Its about long term game about that piece. Thanks for the video . Kkep up the great work
Have to agree about yellow gold, Charlie. I want my gold to look gold. And I think gold adds a special touch, which is why I'm partial to a two-tone watch and why I've got a Bluesey and a Wimbledon two-tone. I'd defo like to add a steel watch as a daily though because wearing gold watches make me nervous with how easy they are to scratch.
You’ve got two unbelievable timepieces mate, congratulations! Adding a steel would be a great addition, gold can scratch just from looking at it haha 🤣🙌🏻
Curious to see what you think about the dj41 fluted and jubilee with a white dial (non Roman dial) I saw one in person and I feel like no one talks about it but something about it was just so classy. I’m torn between that one and the mint green dial. What do you think?
That’s such a stunning combination mate, such a clean and subtle design, so effective! And you’re right about it feeling incredibly classy! Unfortunately, the white dial is considered an entry level combination, so it performs badly in the market - the mint is far more sought after and retains its price much better. However, if you’re buying to wear it and enjoy it the market value is irrelevant - you should always buy what you like 🙌🏻💯
Thanks for the support mate, I really appreciate it! I’ll be covering many more models in a future episode, so to see where I rank the Blue dial Sky-Dweller, stay tuned…🙌🏻💯
I've really taken to white gold recently. I used to think it was too similar to stainless, so why pay the premium. I added one to the collection earlier this year and now having spent time with it, can say with certainty that it really stands apart from SS. There is a warmth and richness to it. I also have rose and yellow pieces, so there is love for the whole gold range, but I would love to see more white gold. Especially nowadays where stealth wealth is becoming more sensible.
That’s exactly the reason so many of our clients enjoy white gold, it’s stealthy but also incredibly special! The weight on the wrist is also extremely desirable 🙌🏻👌🏻
Agreed! I got that with a silver dial. It's monochromatic and so beautifully simple. I tried on a fluted bezel, just not me, and I really like the Jubilee bracelet.

Opinion on the DD40 RG Slate Ombre dial? I know you mentioned you're not a RG kind of guy, and most people who are interested want the Olive.. but I have a feeling that variation is a sleeper hit and will bring the DD back into the forefront of Rolex's offerings. Haven't seen a lot of people jumping on to try to get one which surprises me.. because in person the dial is really phenomenal.

Great purchase mate, congratulations! The BLRO is in such high demand and such little supply this year, you're not the only client it's not available to. As I say though, the BLNR is a stunning timepiece and you're incredibly fortunate! Wear it and enjoy it mate👌💯

The Rolex that I wear the most from my collection is the new Air-King. Yes! The new Air-king. Very comfortable case. Not popular at all. It completely flies under the radar, and that dial with the Rolex logo in color is beautiful. 🤷♂️
The Air-King makes a great daily option, a robust satin finished case with a subtle design! The dial is really unique and the reason a lot of clients love that model! Congratulations on owning one mate, so glad to hear you wear it and enjoy it 🙌🏻💯
Great vid. Love to hear on people's opinions on their favorite watches and so forth. But the Celebration? C'mon, man. That is rolex's idea of a joke.... "Hey, Hans. Let's put out a really silly looking dial and hype it just to prove people will buy anything we want them to." Absolutely love your videos and insight. But that one just caught me off guard, brah.
After collecting watches for over 30 years, I finally found my perfect daily - the new 42mm Polar Explorer II. Comfortable but still has wrist presence, functional, a little under the radar but still has some pizzazz with that white dial and bold handset. I love it!
I have the celebration and it’s not a safety queen. I daily the Cookie Monster but the celebration gets a lot of use on weekends. I don’t know how many times people have told me it looks so much better in-person. Also, women LOVE it.
You’re very fortunate to have two unbelievable timepieces mate, congratulations! The Celebration is such a special piece, really unique combination, and definitely agree it looks better in person - pictures don’t do this timepiece justice 🙌🏻👌🏻
The price appears a little high but regardless of that, we’d always advise clients to avoid watches that don’t come with the white swing tag as part of the full set, especially a piece as collectible as the Hulk! 🙌🏻💯
Charlie, I am sensing pent up anger from watch buyers at Rolex for making its steel watches mostly unobtainium while at the same time pricing its CPO watches above the gray market. Are you sensing the same anger expressed by the clients you talk to every day? The ADs are effectively Rolex museums.
So true about "Rolex museums". I've been waiting years but nothing coming my was despite follow ups. Give up at that AD as they are just a bunch of liars. Moved to another AD but I'm sure it'll be the same sob "demand is more than supply" story....
We’re certainly seeing a trend in our clients of a frustration with the AD. With grey market prices settling at an appetising level, so many enthusiasts are sick of the games and coming to the grey instead of doing the dance and waiting on a promise! 🙌🏻💯
@@TonyStark998 I picked one up from the AD last week and love it, I need to purchase another link though since the jubilee feels a little tight even with the adjustment out.
I get the feeling people that buy grey either haven’t even set foot in an actual AD before or are just too impatient to wait a bit for their watch. It’s really not that hard to get the Rolex watch you want, just see it as a journey and eventually they will give you anything you ask for. With a few exceptions of course. Getting the watch I want the official way is an amazing experience and it’s a feeling of accomplishment buying grey will never have.
May I know how long you had to wait before getting the call from the AD and what model was it? I've been waiting for 6yrs for a sea dweller until I gave up. Till today, I don't have a Rolex as I refuse to pay the premium at grey market. It's depressing to be honest. Thanks.
@@joonkt3483 - Datejust 36 jubilee, blue dial fluted bezel 2 months - Submariner no date 4 months - GMT Master II Batgirl 11 months It really depends on the AD though, some AD’s are very rude and some are honest and try to help out as much as possible. “Buy the seller” is really what it comes down to. The AD I go to only accepts a certain amount of requests per model per year. They do that to ensure the wait time won’t be longer than 1 year and risk a model getting discontinued. Had to deposit €1000 each time, but it’s a guaranteed spot on the so called “list”. If you struggle try this: - Get good at small talk, not all about watches. - Show up with a watch you bought at that AD and talk about it. If you did good last time they will talk about it themselves. - Try to make it memorable so the sales associate remembers you next time. - Try on different models and ask them for advice, they like explaining things. - Don’t tell them directly which one you want, wrap it in a conversation and then tell them which one you want and why. - Show them that you know a thing or to about the models and their movements - Show your appreciation for other brands and not always fixate on Rolex.

You're better off going through an AD rather than through grey market sharks as they don't know whether a watch is lost or stolen. Only rolex can give that guarantee
You can sell an old man a young man’s car, but you can’t sell an old man’s car to a young man. I’m getting older, but I wouldn’t be seen in a DJ 36 for example, it’s screams old boomer who wears socks with sandles.
I understand that this is HIS list, but I think it’s in poor taste to sh!t on the lower end watches - which are still incredibly expensive for most people.

@@KeepingWatchUK No, obviously not. These are tacky watches. I prefer vintage Rolex to separate from nouveaux riches like rappers and footballers with these watches.

It’s a great daily option mate, robust and reliable and also a unique combination! Wear it and enjoy it mate 👌🏻💯
Where does the Sprite fall?
I’ll be covering loads more models in a future episode mate, so stay tuned… 🙌🏻
I have the celebration and it’s not a safety queen. I daily the Cookie Monster but the celebration gets a lot of use on weekends. I don’t know how many times people have told me it looks so much better in-person. Also, women LOVE it.
You’re very fortunate to have two unbelievable timepieces mate, congratulations! The Celebration is such a special piece, really unique combination, and definitely agree it looks better in person - pictures don’t do this timepiece justice 🙌🏻👌🏻
@@thehonestwatchdealer thanks!
€15,000 for a 2011 hulk. Used but very good condition. Box and papers (excluding the white swing tag). Is that a fair price??
Hell no
The price appears a little high but regardless of that, we’d always advise clients to avoid watches that don’t come with the white swing tag as part of the full set, especially a piece as collectible as the Hulk! 🙌🏻💯
@@thehonestwatchdealer thank you for your advice 😊😌
GMT BATMAN WATCH FOR COLLECTION
Something about that rainbow Daytona which I absolutely love, but many people actually don't like that model.
It’s such a special combination isn’t it mate, so incredibly unique 🤩
Not sure why the 126718 grnr gets no mention, what a watch.
Such a stunning configuration! I’ll be covering many more models in a future episode; to see where I rank the 126717GRNR, stay tuned mate 🙌🏻💯
It's not just you. I don't see much on this configuration anywhere.
I own it and love it but yea not much talk about it
@@TonyStark998 I picked one up from the AD last week and love it, I need to purchase another link though since the jubilee feels a little tight even with the adjustment out.
How about Sky Dwellers?
I'll be covering many more models in future uploads mate, so please stay tuned... 🙌
I think Rolex white gold is beautiful. It has a lovely lustre which even Patek cannot match. Their white gold does look like stainless steel.
It makes for such a stunning combination doesn’t it! Rolex have done a phenomenal job manufacturing it 👌🏻💯
I get the feeling people that buy grey either haven’t even set foot in an actual AD before or are just too impatient to wait a bit for their watch.
Thanks.

It really depends on the AD though, some AD’s are very rude and some are honest and try to help out as much as possible.
If you struggle try this:
- Get good at small talk, not all about watches.
- Show them that you know a thing or to about the models and their movements
- Show your appreciation for other brands and not always fixate on Rolex.
@@joonkt3483that’s a shame, any possibility to go to another AD? It really comes down to “buying the seller”

If you’re struggling try another AD or just go the long route. I bought Tudor’s first because I like them and it was a perfect way to start about buying my first Rolex.
We’ll get off the list Nigel bit savage your comment
Dailying a John Mayer? Come on
Why not? John Mayer wears it to many of his concerts🙂
😂😂😂😂😂
There's something thrilling about dailying a gold piece. I ain't mad at him for suggesting it.
A video about someone’s personal preferences on watches 🤔 I’m wondering how this would guide or advise anyone…
Daily a GMT TT but not a Batman? Jubiliee is way too flashy for daily use
I want that celebration to wear
Such a stunning configuration isn’t it mate, would make a great daily option 🙌🏻
What does "Daily the hell out of it" mean? Sounds like something one of the lads says about the girl working at my local.
Great ! 👏.
Glad you liked this one mate! 👍
You forgot the skydweller
I'll be covering many more models in future episodes mate, so to hear where I rank some of the sky-dweller configurations, please stay tuned... 🙌
You're better off going through an AD rather than through grey market sharks as they don't know whether a watch is lost or stolen. Only rolex can give that guarantee
Love the tier lists Charlie!
Thanks mate appreciate that! 👌🏻
Interesting take, but I still love my Datejust! 😊
Everyone has their own tastes!

What’s wrong with being an older gentleman, we tend to have more style and can afford to have more style to boot, quite an offensive comment
Nothing wrong. With that said, the watches for old era persons isn't appealing to younger generations sometimes.
lol and then you turn around and insult the younger generation in your comment
You can sell an old man a young man’s car, but you can’t sell an old man’s car to a young man. I’m getting older, but I wouldn’t be seen in a DJ 36 for example, it’s screams old boomer who wears socks with sandles.
Take a chill pill. Why are you so easily offended 😂
Still laughing . I own one and I’m no spring chicken. 😂 it’s cool and flies under the radar.
Buy'em to wear 'em for goodness sakes.
Great video as usual Charlie, it’s nice to hear your views on the big players , Thank you and hope to see you soon mate 💥💥👍🏻
Thanks Paul glad you liked this one 👍
Hope you’re keeping well and see you soon 🙏
I understand that this is HIS list, but I think it’s in poor taste to sh!t on the lower end watches - which are still incredibly expensive for most people.
Curious about your thoughts on the 126655, the Yacht Master 40 in rose gold with the full diamond pave dial on oysterflex? I think that watch is an absolute stunner!
Such a special configuration! I’ll be covering many more models in a future episode, so to see where I rank that particular timepiece, stay tuned mate 🙌🏻💯
Great vid fella. The celebration OP , belongs in the "throw it to your dog to play with category" I love Rolex, but they can never be grail watches.
Milgauss GV an ‘older’ gents watch…? most ridiculous comment I’ve heard in a while, and you make a few. But each their own 😀
Taste can't be bought or acquired.
Get off my lawn! Now back to admiring my Milgauss…
Fantastic video. This channel deserves more subs and views. ✅ I sold my zombie only due to the fitment on my wrist. Going with an oyster flex next. 👌🏼 (most likely Daytona ghost or Pikachu)
Thanks Ivan really appreciate the feedback!
Ah yes either the Ghost or Pikachu are great ones to aim for, you won’t be disappointed 👌🏻
lost me at pass on the batnman haha
Yeah, I think I will eventually get the celebration dial.. it’s just fun and quirky
Great choice mate, yes it is something different, go for it! 👌🏻
Every Rolex looks fake on those ridiculous tattoo sleeves. Rolex would never employ you
Totally agree
Older gentleman, what a dumb comment especially when you’re selling watches.
Explorer must be 36mm.
Not always. For men 40mm works best.
@@KeepingWatchUK No. Looks out of place. 40mm should be reserved for sports watches with numeral bezels.
@@rudimussrodelnyou don’t like the OP41, DJ or DD models, then!?
@@KeepingWatchUK No, obviously not. These are tacky watches. I prefer vintage Rolex to separate from nouveaux riches like rappers and footballers with these watches.
What are u talking about
The milgaus a old man’s watch
More of a young man’s watch
I’m 20 yrs old and I would wear that no problem
You’re wearing a Daytona Pikachu dial 40 mm that wear more like a 39 and then have the nerves to say that you wouldn’t wear the yacht master with the same size in the same configuration which is precious metal on an oysterflex!!! You don’t make sense not to mention you’re just following hype. I don’t know how you can call yourself the honest watch dealer. Someone who puts the word honest in his title makes me suspicious from the get go.
tasteless
Again another video same as all your other ones. Need to mix it up as you are repeating a lot of the information in other videos.
No 5 digit content? 😢
the smooth bezel dj is classic and isn't blingy and ghetto. fluted bezel makes the watch too feminine imo. but if you like feminine watches then that's your prerogative
What's the point of this video ?
John Mayer is a crack head 😂
