@@fildybNot X86. ARM is a more advanced architrcture finally getting noticed by Microsoft. One day hopefully the systems will evolve into registry free architecture. I was hopefull when Microsoft implemented the instant update back during Windows 10.
Thank you for the review. It's a little annoying that Windows software manufacturers have been so slow to release ARM64 versions. It's clearly to do with economics, and it shows how having Apple's stranglehold on the OS, benefits users. My iPad Pro 5th Gen 12.9 1Tb Cellular which cost me £1800, needed the charge port replacing. Apple wanted £975 to replace it with a refurbished unit, apparently they can't be repaired. So I asked how they can refurbish if they can't repair? After that, I decided I was ditching the iPad Pro and buying a Surface Pro 11 X Elite. I use my SP11P mainly for work, because it's more portable than my work, Dell Laptop. I always said that if MacOS was on iPad it would be devastating for Surfaces. However, with the lack of repairability and Apple's greed will never see MacOS on iPad Pro.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your experience. Hopefully there are more compatible apps with the ARM surface pro and that the tablet version of windows continues to improve.
Did it crash too? My surface 7 15" laptop crashes everytime using premiere pro. DaVinci Studio runs smooth without any crash. Unfortunately no 32gb RAM available, only on the business version, which is around 2,5k...
You should tried psb ffile in Ps, you'll see what the diffrent between M series from Apple vs X Elite from SD. And also you wouldn't create video timeline in Ps. Even so you can from installer intel system, still you won't be able to play/edit it. But u can do it in just M1 with only 8 GB RAM but with lagging. This system still has to be fixed by Microsoft for better efisiensi menu, more simple like Apple did and also Adobe. I think Adobe after effect will also won't play well too in Arm SD. And yes i didn't strong recomended this system now, and stick to M series from Apple would be better.
It’s a solid detachable, but the real problem is that most of us don’t find much relevance in these designs because they compromise the laptop and tablet experience. So, for me, buying the best laptop and the best tablet for my needs easily surpasses a compromised device like the Surface Pro. However, it’s all subjective. If you can make it work and aren’t limited by Windows being a subpar tablet with limited apps and lacking quality iPadOS apps, then it might be acceptable.
Thank you for watching and sharing your experience. I hardly use the surface pro 11 in tablet mode so for me it's perfectly fine, I know the software could be better for windows in tablet mode. The iPad definitely has the upper hand, but for what I need it the surface pro 11 is good enough to be used as a tablet and laptop.
Hi, what tablet stand are you using?
Hello, It's from Benks but It looks like it's no longer available. This is pretty much the same one that I have. amzn.to/3CfRTeE
