Sounds good to me. At 82 the life fire is still glowing here. Fermenting most of the stuff from the garden. Watching the diet as close as possible. Our world is being bombarded with so many contaminants and poisons from every direction we have a difficult time avoiding it. Living near farming we see the frequent application of herbicides and pesticides.

I will keep you in my prayers, dear friend. I believe our trauma sends us down of self destructive eating, thinking, and acting in a toxic way to cope with the circumstances. We are only just now recognizing what we have been doing to destroy our minds, bodies and spirituality. Now we know it is All connected. Still we are rebellious in that we don't want to do what we could to heal. I thank you so much for all of your information as it has been helping me feel and think better every day.❤😮

I formally had a bad case of psoriasis. I was eating an ice cream daily that used the thickener carrageenan as an ingredient. I read that it may be a gut irritant. I stopped consuming any food with carrageenan. It took about a month, but the vast majority of my psoriasis cleared up. So that is my suggestion for people suffering from psoriasis. Read labels before buying.

Meeee. Unfortunately. All my life. :/ That was like "you have to find out what food works for you". I do not have leaky gut, but have very sensitive stomach and gluten intolerance, even my antibodies were in normal range (no antibodies). When I get rid of gluten four months ago it improved a lot, but still I do not tolerate many foid. Personally I feel amazing when I eat raw vegan diet but it is not sustainable in a long term and for skinny people as me. I eat some organic food, organic eggs. I avoid lectins from most of legumes. I tolerate beans and cheakpeas. What I realised going gluten free my anxiety and skin issues disappeared 😮 Gluten is the worst.

I was training for a BJJ tournament and injured my neck. I was in Brazil at the time. I decided to take some anti-inflammatories and had a miscommunication and ended up overdosing on them. I ended up with terrible gastritis for months afterwards. My digestion slowed so much, that I was then diagnosed with Gastroperisis. After a year of eating a lot cleaner and drinking gallons of Kefir, my digestion is so much better. However i still suffer with functional dyspepsia flare ups, brain fog and fatigue AND CHRONIC allergis to every grass pollen around! I still have a long road ahead, but now I've completely cut out sugar and alcohol. Also coffee 😭 (my favourtie) and am drinking more herbal teas and eating less processed foods. I really hope I can feel as vital as I used to, one day 😪

So I know I have gut issues. Years of eating so called healthy foods screwed me over lol. Seriously though it’s pretty bad. I now believe I have histamine intolerance which is due to my gut issues. So the healing foods for leaky gut also set off my histamine response. I feel like I react to everything. I am just trying to fix it by consuming Glutamine + probiotics lately because dosage issues. Since I am not functional medicine doctor, I don't know the right dosage. For how long should I take it? Whether there will be side effects? From Dr. Natasha Campbell book, I know leaky gut could be passed down from mother to child. My son has specks of vitiligo on his back and arms. It is the same case in my cousin's son. But we postpone the treatment until their older because we do not have doctor supervision. But you were right, we should not just ignore it.. I'll make sure that my son will have a lot probiotic foods in his diet.

You can also look for deiticians. She was the one who diagnosed me with leaky gut. My primary doctor for 3 years ignored my symptoms(was when my search for doctors began, I went looking for people who could actually help me, was when found her. I went from 150 pds to 107 pds at age 26), my dietician is always asking me for symptoms and trys to help me heal with food. She changed my viewpoints on doctores, I am fascinated by nutrition and vegetables which is a topic which my primary doctores have never even mentioned in all my life (26years old). Only allergy pills and synthetic vitamins...(D2 instead of D3). I respect Dr hyman for what he does and totally agree with his perspective on autoimmune diseases. Something is not being taken seriously at this point in time when is most needed...
I pay $100 per online session with my dietician, but I noticed is a long term thing. So right off the bat could tell them how many sessions they can do for you. She is not a replacement for a doctor but someone who can supervise me and referral me to places if do need additional help. Just like you said.
Instead of glutamine supplements she recommended me to eat bone broth for a few weeks before started to eat Probotics. I eliminated gluten from my diet and started consuming more vegetables into my diet. No lugums nor lectins. What vegetables totally depends on each individual but a variety is better than only 1 vegetable.

Tanks! Since ApriI 2024 I only eat fatty meats & vegetables (now, very few eggs). I had to eliminate all sugars & starches because I was addicted to them & couldn't control my weight or blood sugar. I also had to cut down my egg intake because I ate nothing but eggs the 1st three months of my diet which started me into a Lupus symptom "Scleritis" of my eye, in particular. After some reasearch I realized the massive egg intake is what started the inflammatory response. So. I cut eggs off totally for a couple months. The scleritis is resolved & I've have no other issues with inflamation since. I'm much better & this is my permanent diet for the rest of my life. My meals are seasoned, delicious, quick & very easy to make (& 100% homemade, nothing prepackaged or factory-made). I also eat animal fats too, avacado oil & olive oil & am trying to totally eliminate all seed oils. Only have a bit more weight I'd like to lose & all is well. Hey, Doc do you suggest that I cut all egg from my diet? The opthamologist I went to didn't want to hear anything about diet/my diet or what I'd been eating (he cut me off) because "he said: he doesn't believe in diets", so I couldn't ask him any questions about it & I had to do a self-education on diet by reading published research papers etc... posted on the internet to find out how this happened. I'd never had Lupus symptoms before I had the painful schleritis in my eye (after I went on a 3 month egg-diet, from my own laziness; I didn't want to think about food, cooking & meal planning). So, should I cut eggs out of my diet 100% now? I didn't have bowel issues, but perhaps I had some leaky gut that began the inflammatory response? I read a research paper which stated this was something they observed in some people within their study.

Ya gut issues are rampant in 1st world countries and it's no surprise when we explore the pure crap we're almost forced to consume for food when coupled with our high stress lifestyles. I was/still am afflicted with GERD for decades, made worse by Covid(possibly the vaccine ironically) and was prescribed the usual PPI over years and took them on and off but a lot more lately.
It was only when I was prescribed double the dosage of PPI did I notice a correlation between a higher dose, and worse GERD symptoms, to the point of being utterly insufferable... ruining my life! So very recently I gave PPI's the boot. Thing is, I had ALREADY made all those lifestyle changes and in some cases for years. Stopped smoking 14 years ago(never a heavy smoker), stopped most all of the trigger foods and lived a good clean life, stopped drinking alcohol during Covid lockdown and never looked back(Not that I drank heavily or often) and more recently I gave caffeine the boot too(though had reduced my caffeine to the occasional one-shot latte).
So I'm really hoping for good results obviously. It's avoiding the crap they stuff into foods is now the hard part for me and anyone tbh. If you look at almost everything on the shelf of your typical franchise grocery store, they're all packed with sugars or artificial sweeteners, stabilizers, preservatives etc etc, foods grown with heavy use of pesticides, meat grown with steroid type of boosters, all of which we consume, we really haven't a chance and this can be squarely blamed at government level imho! This should never have been allowed happen! If you want to know why our gut health is gone to crap, IT'S THAT! THE ADDITIVES AND GROWING METHODS! We consume all that, what the hell do we think is going to happen?
Now, we can't all be farmers, we don't have time for much in our busy lives and this makes matters worse as we quickly grab some low nutritional muck packed with artificial additives and a sack of sugar on top. We then drink some terrible drink that again, shouldn't even legally be approved for consumption. It's only credit to the human body for being so resilient that we don't drop dead tbh, but everything has limits right? and the consequences for consuming all that crap that we don't have much alternative too is health issues by the ton and of course, this all suits pharmaceutical companies massively to state the obvious.
Make steps towards changing your life for the better today, no matter how small and make a promise to yourself to commit to it. New things need adjusting too but then it becomes the "new norm", becomes far easier and practical to live by, and you'll wonder why you didn't do it years ago. Find your local organic food stores, talk to people working there, there's a lot of great people out there and I wish you all the best in your life and I know for a fact making these changes will improve your life. I don't know by how much, but it will 100% improve your life! Good luck!

I’ve read of people who bake homemade breads using organic, unbleached flour and have no problem. Apparently a lot of the supposed gluten issues are actually due to the glyphosate (Roundup) that is sprayed on the wheat before harvest.

Dr after the lockdown in 2020 I came down with sudden egg allergy. Then I was tested and got high IgE values. I have to take anti histamines when I feel allergy coming on. However I can't eat things I had from childhood and I am having malabsorption issues for iron, b12 etc. My teeth are having a lot of cavity issues now and the old amalgam fillings have eroded. The large intestine also has a lot of problems with pain, gas, constipation and/or diarrhoea. Also have a lot of burping.
Not sure why histamines get triggered and are they not breaking down in the body.
    Any ideas?

Parasite cleansing with RAW deep leafy greens cilantro and root vegetables JUICES (no fibre) to clear all out, no gluten, grains, sugar, and dairy, no industrialised foods that feeds parasites, no even meat wile you doing detox. Eat organic non artificially fertilised veggies rich in BORON from healthy soils and most important TOTAL removal of the amalgam fillings, those are the main culprit for heavy metal toxicity and parasites creating IBS and many other symptoms showing in your skin and even depression. The removal of the amalgam fillings needs doing safely by a trained dentist as this is a dangerous procedure for your health and then you must do a serious careful detox supported with probiotics Dr MH mention.

@jonathannielsen_utah Hawaiin spirulina and chlorella combined flush the body of heavy metals. You are correct about the amalgam fillings of course. I've been speaking to my dentist about getting the one I have replaced. The problem is that the replacement fillings also break down and are made of plastic by none other than the company making headlines for their toxic products.
I'm a former dental assistant. You can only imagine the looks I got from my heavily brainwashed coworkers and bosses (the drs) when I'd share these things with them.

What’s the difference between dysbiosis n leaky gut???

    • @rebeccaconn389
      @rebeccaconn389 10 місяців тому

Dysbiosis is when the gut bacteria are out of balance … more bad bacteria than good.
Leaky gut is when the junctions that keep food inside the intestinal tract become loose … and food particles leak out into the bloodstream. Then the immune system is activated because it sees the food particles as invaders.

Smoothies doesn't cure leaky gut, you are missing the essentials. Mark literally said you need to clear away the bad bugs, this is done with probotics. Vegetables is to feed your microbiom. I am not saying to not eat smoothies anymore but consider trying Probotics for 2 months. Rebalance the good and bad bacteria (leaky gut is when there is an imbalance of the good and bad bacteria, antibiotics kills both however bad bacteria tend to multiply faster than the good bacteria so you get leaky gut which takes many many months to happen. Is not a short term issue) to fix leaky gut you need to
      1. Repair the gut lining due to damage by misuse of antibiotics (or many other factors), preferably with bone broth rather than L-glutamine supplements.
      2. Take Probotics, make sure you do research to branding as this is important. You can use seed Probotics brand and compare theirs with other brands. Your immune system is the microbiom (80% of immune system) so a problem here leads to many other problems including autoimmune, food allergies... People take antiviral supplements for long covid (me for 1 whole year, aka another name for antibiotics) now I too have leaky gut and food intolerances and more things... Fermented foods are also good but Probotics are recommended for leaky gut. Just do your own research to branding
      3. Dietary changes. Adding vegetables into your diet. Smoothies are great.
      4. Don't ignore symptoms, supervision would be recommended for additional tests and work along for anyone doing these things. Maybe a nutritionist or dietician would be a good start. It was them who diagnosed me with leaky gut.

Fat soluble vitamin K may help for anything calcified. (Not the type of K from leafy greens.) If you're taking Vit D, it's probably not a good idea because it calcifies soft tissues. The vitamin K is what directs it to the bone. Grass fed butter has Vitamin K if you don't want to deal with supplements.
      I hope you feel better.
