So Kuririn/Krillin vs Bacterian and Nam(u) vs Lanfan/Ranfan are what we in the business like to call “gag matches”, where while it is high stakes, the fighters who generally end up losing have a sort of gimmick that’s played up for laughs or some other reaction, though sometimes they do have bits of exposition sprinkled in like Nam(u)’s motivation for entering the tournament being more noble than almost everyone else present. They serve to show off the prowess of the fighters who would go on to the Semi-finals where the fights get more serious (Yamcha vs Jackie Chun can be seen as a “gag match” but a little less so. It’s not gimmicky, but it’s also not taken very seriously and it’s also just kinda there in the plot, a stepping stone for Jackie to make it to the semis near effortlessly). You eventually develop a sense of who’s going to move on and who isn’t with Toriyama’s many tournament arcs as a result.
It’s a shame that you got spoiled about who Bulma ends up with, I hate people that spoil, I would have loved to see your blind reaction to that part, but anyways I love how much you are rooting for Yamcha and Namu

On the bright side... It does help with engagement. Every Dragon Ball reaction is going to have some of those comments no matter which person is watching or what version is being watched. I think telling people not to do something will have a worse effect than ignoring it though. They always wind up at the bottom of the comment section anyway

Before Jackie Chun comes out, Bulma wonders if he is cute, and then only cheers for Yamcha, her boyfriend, when she sees Jackie is an old man. She's such a great girlfriend right? Yamcha gets beaten easily by the "new" character Jackie Chun, just after Goku reminds us how awesome Yamcha is. It's actually a really smart and effective way to build up the new character as a threat. I see some people often point to this fight between Lanfan and Namu as an example of how Toriyama can't write female fighters but she is shown to have fighting ability, maybe not on the level of Goku or Kuririn, but surely above the average person, Lanfan did make it to the top 8 in all the world after all. I quite like this fight as it is between two characters we have never met before so we don't quite know what to expect from either of them. And to be fair, how is her stripping in attempt to win a fight any more ridiculous than anything Bacterian just did? Lanfan's name is a pun on lingerie and foundation. A quote from Toriyama; “When I was working in an advertising company, female underwear was called ‘Ran-Fan’. This comes from an abbreviation of ‘Lingerie and Foundation’. The character has that sort of image.”, yeah the name definitely fits. Namu's name pun comes from the Buddhist phrase “Namu-amida-butsu” which in English means "I entrust myself to the Buddha of Infinite Light and Life."

アニメは鳥山先生の原作を100%そのまま再現は出来ていませんし、鳥山先生が細かく描いた漫画を読む事で、更に彼の作品に惹かれる事でしょう。
ネタバレをする人達は、自分がネタバレされたらどんなに嫌かまで考える事が出来ない身勝手な存在ですね。
