Nonsense. They tried it with big gs motors , z motors & even honda 4 pots . None of them made over 80 odd horsepower (at the wheel) without complicated unreliable & expensive forced induction & were hugely heavy & wide . Early busa motors (99) can easily make 200 horsepower reliably & a lot more once boosted . It only became a thing when early bikes got crashed & stripped about 15 years ago.
i'm always amazed at why motorbike engines aren't used more often in small cars. Even my Kwaka 600cc has 100hp. The new 1000cc is 173hp. Super reliable, with no bloody leaks, my bike cruises at 220kph. All day every day. The cheapest possible way to get a full on Formua1 spec engine cheaply. And even the parts are cheap (ish)
I tell you what... you have really got me thinking about the SR20 i have about to bolt into a 1200 Coupe. How do you go with gearing etc and the extra weight of the Coupe compared to bike? Where are you at?
@mimosasti If you look on the side of the engine/bike gearbox on the side that guy is leaning over, you can see the tailshaft bolted to it. Find out how many teeth the front and rear sprockets have on the Hyabusa, divide the number of teeth of the front sprocket by the number of teeth of the rear sprocket and that's roughly the ratio you'll need for your 510 diff. Are you in the US?
wow.. i love the sound. nice engine.. what tranny are u using? and what differential are u gonna use? are all the ratio match up? i own a 1600 bluebird, and in the process of restoring it.
Nice swap but you could've had much shorter fuel feed line then that 2 foot one on there. lol Looks like it could be a straight shot from the FPR to the rail with a little extra for engine movement. Just saying.
two years and still no transmission? I think its awesome that the engine fit but if you have to push it every where you go then that is not cool. just my $.02
This would make more sense on a cappuccino than anything. Still a Suzuki motor and it goes you three or four times the hp and twice thw torque and the cappuccino only weighs 750 kg stock. U can reduce it to 600 if u strip out some parts and swap them for carbon fiber
Ever since the '70's when big-bore bike engines started to be made, I've thought they should be swapped in to small cars. GOOD JOB!!!!
Nonsense.

That's one tough customer!! Gorgeous sound. Thanks for NOT putting ANY music to it. The motor sound is more than enough!!!
getdusty1
You kidding?
That is music!
Excellent idea, lad. Hayabusa engines deserve to be in all auto transmission compact cars such as Chevy Chevette's and Cavaliers.
Como se adapta a la transmisión
Cómo se adaptaría la trasmicion. Buen pregunta

They are .
There's loads of lightweight cars with bike motors getting hammered every weekend up & down the country.
Suzuki should make a stand alone Hayabusa style engine designed to be put in modified cars
stephen campbell there are V8 engines made in base of the Hayabusa. Super TC2000 cars run on it.
They do.
@@emrahcanbaydar proofs?
@David Orwell nice
@David Orwell They use a custom cast block and custom crankshaft the rest is bolt on Suzuki!
With that sweet sound who needs a sound system in a car.
what kind of gear box are u using?? ke tipo de transmision adaptaste el motor de hayabusa??
Certainly has good throttle response, looks like a blast to me!
Kind of Epic
Was this a Head conversion or is this the entire Suzuki engine? Would love to learn how this is possible.
What Drive train/ Transmission are you using?
Sounds like a wild tiger just been captured!
Dale Jenkins i
Dale Jenkins .....pshh my mom sounds like a wild tiger...
I tell you what... you have really got me thinking about the SR20 i have about to bolt into a 1200 Coupe. How do you go with gearing etc and the extra weight of the Coupe compared to bike? Where are you at?
How did you mate this with rear diff/transmission
La trasmicion. Que le adaptaron
it is the Hayabusa motor original/standard, or there is some kind of preparation? (turbo, nitro, etc...)
love how the engine turn with just one crank...awesome dude
WHAT GEARBOX??? AND WHAT ENGINE MANAGEMENT???
Thats a pretty crazy idea wonder how well it will move the car vs the bike?
love these inspirational videos.
Sounds like it's right on the money especially when you give it about half throttle sound sweet
I like it I'm thinking to install it in my Austin Healey wide body , how hard is to install the motor ?
How to you make that transmission with hayabusa engine? Use gear...?
Amazing....love the sound. Im planning on putting a Hayabusa in my buggy....
Why are people asking about the gearbox? It has a gearbox built into the casting from the Suzuki factory!
I’ll bet what they mean is what adapter is used to get it from chain driven into shaft driven. I’m curious myself.
what happened to the frame and running gear for the busa?
so clean looking and sounds awesome
I want to know How he adapted the toyota transmission
هعة
Adapter plate from sprocket to drives haft probably. There are loads of aftermarket parts for a hayabusa conversion like this.
On the stock transmission?
Hi ... that transmission is used ? I'm interested in the system used for reverse
Flintstone reverse
Does that car move!?? Or simply keep screeming?
Hey guys great build if you have a build thread or more pics of the build process let us know as very keen to see how you put it all together
Nice , I like it , sounds crisp and strong ...
Awesome enginerring fellas! Just when you think a bikes coming, there goes a Datto. Brrrrrrooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww.
What kind of transmission did you use
will you bore it to 1200cc too?
What gearbox do you use
What engine you adapted and carbs
That engine and its stock forum butts up probably three times more horsepower than the original engine. It should be a real screamer on the highway!
I mean to drive the shaft to rear wheels?
Very cool.. time for a turbo????
Show de bola ronco magnífico resposta imediata
Uno de mis swap favoritos. Buen trabajo
respect... mad max shit
What trans conversion did you use?
There is no conversion for the gearbox. It is straight out of a Motorbike with a drive shaft where the sprocket was!
Can it fit on my Datsun 1200 pickup?
@mimosasti If you look on the side of the engine/bike gearbox on the side that guy is leaning over, you can see the tailshaft bolted to it. Find out how many teeth the front and rear sprockets have on the Hyabusa, divide the number of teeth of the front sprocket by the number of teeth of the rear sprocket and that's roughly the ratio you'll need for your 510 diff. You just crushed my dreams with your brutal dose of reality.., You are soooo right, maybe they utilized a different trans.
Which transmotion you guys use.
How is the transmission installed in this car??
I believe it used bike motor trans with a drive shaft to the rear axle
But what car is it in ?????
how did you get a transmission for this?
What about with the transmission? An adpater plate maybe??
No it's the stock Suzuki transmission.
What about altenator and ac compressor?
Reverse gear ?
i love it ! ! ! ! ! !s amazing is fantastic is magic ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Datsun(nissan) con suzuki sera combinación moto auto?
Awesome video. ...
que transmision tiene?
I wonder how he did the drivetrain coupling?
"I wonder how he did the drivetrain coupling?" exactly. any1 can mount an engine in an engine bay. Its getting the car driving thats difficult.
A car with motorcycle engine so what it is the idea ?
@therealracer135 i live in Indonesia. I love datsun and nissan. and building few of them.. so this datsun is using hayabusa tranny?
Where is the battery?
Sound is amazing 😨👌👌👌😘
160-170hp for older engines. The 1300 from 2013 busa has 190 I think.
OMG! That's the sound I want for my car...
wow.. i love the sound. nice engine.. what tranny are u using? and what differential are u gonna use? are all the ratio match up?
i own a 1600 bluebird, and in the process of restoring it.
How did you attach motor to trans?
El Lopez The Hayabusa engine the transmission is one piece like all Mc engines
If if was 170 + hp , you were looking for a Nissan sr20vvl or sr 16 would have been good choices , nice conversion though .
Damn! Vicious little cuss!!!👍👍👍
Is it FWD or RWD?
What is the trany ?
Cant help but to smile :)
i wanna see this thing in action
Nice swap but you could've had much shorter fuel feed line then that 2 foot one on there. lol Looks like it could be a straight shot from the FPR to the rail with a little extra for engine movement. Just saying.
@juan battiste : Think you have your manufacturers mixed up, "smartcar" made by Mercedes-Benz ... Datsuns 1200 are old nissans
Can you show the transmission coupling?
Must be some kind of a spacer in the tranny
wow that actually sounds really good....
two years and still no transmission? I think its awesome that the engine fit but if you have to push it every where you go then that is not cool. just my $.02
one of these days...................
Great sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍sounds awsome!
Damn! How do you do this??:o
Ive never looked back once I stuck a CA Turbo in mine.
+Peter Kames always thought the CA18 would be perfect for these little pickups
this engine is not allowed in USA correct?
its in the bike i don't see why it wouldn't be.
a bike? motorcycle?
yea
transmission?
Any luck?
thats what i was wondering
Stock trans and use elite racing mx200 diff with build in reverse. So 6 gear forward and 6 gear reverse. Lol
Njiir...mantaaap bg...
his gearbox wear what yah?
Eksoz mcmane bos bunyi terbaik
How can you not like this nasty little stinker hahaha... I may be a die-hard Mopar V8 guy... But this thing is awesome :-)
thats a bad ass sound.
If the hayabusi can make engine in my vlog they rock in future
and the car is a Datsun 1200
Amazing! For me the best soltion is take out all the heavy parts of this car. And replace for alloy, plastic or carbon fiber. less weigh better..!
This would make more sense on a cappuccino than anything. Still a Suzuki motor and it goes you three or four times the hp and twice thw torque and the cappuccino only weighs 750 kg stock. U can reduce it to 600 if u strip out some parts and swap them for carbon fiber
Dreaming doesnt cost you shit
very nice sounding
