instead of getting a bison, I saved myself 5k by just ordering a zr2 and adding the packages and accessories that i know i'll actually use.

Trail Boss is almost the perfect value choice except no heated seats. Was -15F the other day in Illinois. I have had many vehicles without heated seats in my life but once you have them its hard to go back. Can't get the oem lift in the z71 which has heated seats. ZR2 misses out on the higher tow capacity of the lower trims. Chevy kinda screwed up here. Canyon AT4 gets you a good combo of everything but the price is inflated and no where near the availability of the chev.y For someone wanting a tow vehicle with some off road goodies the AT4 is the most rounded choice.
Notice how few shots of the tailgate are used here. It sort of bubbles out on the 2023/2024 models. Strange design choice..
The flat tailgate (2021-2022) with the sunken letters looks stronger.

Bison for sure. Wish they had a diesel option though.
Stowflex comes standard on z71 too I believe. I just ordered my 2024 z71 about a month ago and I don't remember that being an extra cost but I know I have it.

@@tresamccormick6 Not yet, I'm still patiently waiting. They did warn me to expect about 10-12 weeks on average wait time.

ZR2 is the answer.
I like the ZR2 but the MPG is horrible.

Why doesn't GM build a Colorado hybrid pickup? These standard ones are gas hogs and way too expensive. Please pass my comment to the GM President.
Because they aren't that expensive when compared to the competition. I think only the Frontier is cheaper and not that much cheaper. And if you want something that's good on gas don't get a truck
A hybrid won’t help too much, unfortunately. Pickups have large frontal areas, terrible aerodynamics, and large tires with a lot of rolling resistance.
I'm sure the CEO will call you right away.
Because hybrids are g a y and nobody buys them. That's why.
Compared to the new Tacoma, the Colorado looks like a bargain. New Trail Boss can be found for under $40k.
What I would like to see is a Chevrolet Colorado 2 door and 4 door five seated SUV in two packages, a two wheel drive and 4x4... Same with the GMC Canyon... NOW THAT I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY ONE!!!
that's a good idea. in person the back row of seats on the colorado is definitely small. so a colorado thats not a crew cab would look much better.
