What are the differences in the 2024 Traverse trims. In this video we take a look at the basic differences between the Chevy Traverse LS, LT, Z71, and RS trims. If you have product questions ask them in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them all.

I swear this guy is from another timeline or universe. I've never gone to a dealership where the salesman shows the car in this much detail.
Thank You 🙏
Nobody knows the product like Dave B.
@@doggy911 I think not knowing the product is the default stance and Dave is just an outlier
The guy is a genius
He's doing a default 6 position demo. Almost no customer would need this amount of thoroughness. Product knowledge is fundamental. The last thing we want is to look ignorant and stupid in front of the customer, but many do.
THIS video sets the new gold standard for Traverse reviews! All models, all nuances, so much easier to understand and see than the Chevy brand pages. Most important to me and my family, he demonstrated at 6’5”, sitting in each position, a first for all the YT videos and the key ingredient I was missing since the New York Auto Show had these behind the ropes. I’m going to wait until next year to pull the trigger, but this is now top of my list to replace my 2012 Suburban. Nicely done!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, you just answered everything I was questioning about the different Traverse models. Thank you for this video. The Goat!! Dave is the man!!
i need to watch at least 4 videos to get the information i got from just this one.
thank you for this amazing video!
@@ltsWaleed Thanks! Glad it was helpful
Had me at the LS. It has everything I would ever need in an SUV
This is the best way to sell a car all the trims levels are a great review 😊
Great video again from Dave, the best Chevy Salesperson. Just drove off the lot with a new Traverse and Trax. Dave is so friendly and patient. He has been our salesperson for years. Thank you for putting out these videos, couldn't find my answer in the user manual, but Dave covered it!!!!
I like these buyer guides on the different models. Keep up the good job!
Thanks, will do!
DB needs to work for Chevrolet corporate!
Excellent work comparing the different Traverse’s! We were looking at different make and models but you did such a great job at showing this model my wife and I decided to go with the Traverse!🙌🏽 Great job sir!
Awesome! You both will LOVE it!!
I have a Silverado 1500 2020. I was considering getting a Honda Trailsport SUV. But, after seeing the Traverse, yup, that's the one for me.
Just bought the 2024 Z71.. so far so good and we really like it
@@debbiewilliams4276 Awesome!! Congrats!
Does the Z71 have the driver memory seat feature??
@@sZe1-007 unfortunately no, mine does not. But I’m known the RS does
Just got the z71 as well and it’s awesome!
Love how u break down the difference in all trims keep it going 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I was researching on the Traverse and different trim levels as were looking into this car on our list to buy by the end of the year and this answered all my questions for what trim is best for us. Thank you good sir.
We ordered us a LT with the Midnight Package at Auto Nation here in Corpus Christi, Tx just waiting on it to come in. GREAT VIDEO
I really enjoyed the comparison video Dave, good job. Chevy should share this with all of the salesmen.
Another great video Dave I like these videos keep doing these on all the models and keep up the great work and have a good upcoming week with you and your wife and family.
Great video sir. I understand time restraints, but I really would enjoy all vehicles being done this way (with all trim levels and explaining the main differences). I see a lot of good content on youtube as far as car reviews, but I haven't ran across reviews done like this.
Wow, great review. No other reviewers of Traverse LS showed heated steering wheel (nice to have) and blind spot monitoring (great safety feature). I typically buy Toyotas but I will seriously take a look at this Traverse when the time comes. Great power and no complicated hybrid battery to cause problems in 5 years. Good job Chevrolet!
I also like no sunroof. I am 6’4” with a tall torso and do not like sunroofs at all, typically take 1.5 inches of headroom out of vehicle which I need.
I’d take the Z71 hands down. In my opinion it’s the best looking of all the trims. Dave I’d love to see a video on the benefits of leasing a vehicle over financing if one of your co-workers in the finance department has time to sit down with you and discuss it.
Great video, Dave!!
A trim comparison of the cars you're currently offering sounds like solid content ideas.
Best video and presentation of this suv and its trim levels! Thank you so much! If I was in Jersey I'd definitely buy from you! Now to decide if I want the LT with added features or the Z71
Thanks for watching! Happy to help!
Great video! This was exactly what I was looking for. Very informative.
He kills it
The only question is engine
Its sound ?
Torque ?
Vs Explorer 2.3 Ecoboost
I watch these just for the guy. He has a nice voice, it’s like relaxing.
Literally the best video ever I always want to see all the differences between all the trims 🖤🖤 (acknowledging the roof rails on the LT vs none on the ls literally earned my sub)
Great video! Very detailed. Thank you.
I love that blue on the RS.
Agreed!
My first question is "will it fit". I bring my tape measure with me when shopping as I DO NOT want to hear someone give me the cubic feet as a unit of measure. Height, including door vs interior to roof, width including wheel base to wheel base, and with seats down. Also second seat door to door. Once that passes, I then look at trim and options. I am no nonsense about it too.
Thank you very much for this complete review, honestly. I wish our content creators in my country be dedicated like you, man.
I'm really thinking of getting this or the Acadia. They're the same vehicle, though, so it's back to personal taste, I believe.
The best vehicle description video I ever watched. great job!
@@toddschultzandkaysar3530 Thanks 👍
I’m going to snag the 2025 version when it drops. I hope the interior has more color options instead of the red trim 🙏🏻🤣
Only thing I didn't hear you mention is that Z71 has more ground clearance (7.8") than other models (6.8"). Great breakdown of the trims!
Great presentation, my guy! Very informative.
Thanks!
That Z71 though! I think that’s gonna be a big seller for you guys.
Thank you for the model comparison. Very informative.
Dave, a very good job on the different models, good explanation on them,I am not a 4 banger turbo guy, but you going threw the standard equipment on these vehicles is quite impressive what a customer will get if he chooses the base model, keep up the excellent podcasts.😎
Great video as always Dave!
Good to know! My adult sons are 6’5” and 6’6”. I’m looking to get out of my 23 Yukon Denali.
If I’m in the market for a Chevrolet I would definitely buy from Dave.
This is a great, informative review. Now I know the difference between the trims. It’s hard to see the differences on a computer. I hope you do this same review for the 2025 Tahoe.
Be thankful you can even get them, GM won't even lets us build one/order one yet. Just recently got a Z06.
This video should play automatically on the cars display anytime a customer sits in a car while it's on the lot. Then, you push a help button on the display for human assistance. Chevy can put Dave B in charge of video production and send him across the country where every dealership can tape their Sales Manager along side Dave in a personalized video.
so many people never know about the car seat feature in the 2nd row tilt and slide.... huge feature for many that's never talked about...nice job
Except with most forward facing car seats if not all you will have to unlatch the seatbelt to get in…. Unless that gives you enough slack… so the would be a pain
@@Tenfamlearn yes this only works for the latch system
@@stevec8791 I wish they would make one side like our Honda Odyssey minivan, where the seatbelt is on the seat itself
My RS is only for me but I did have 4 full size adults front and back and everyone was comfortable. I didn’t have to raise my front seat up and the back passengers didn’t wanna get out because they loved that roof with that view.
Hey Dave, the way you detailed the new traverse knocking my heart to buy it immediately as I was planning to buy one. I like the Z71 trim, but can I get an optional bench row in the middle?
No, bench seat is only standard in LS and optional in LT.... not available in Z71 or RS
@@DaveBsellsChevy thanks for your quick and prompt response ☺️
Great video. Would be awesome to see other model trim comparisons
Best review I have seen and I have watched a ton! Thank you!!! 😊
@@victoriaf.7286 👍
Thanks, I own a 2011 Traverse LT and wondered what the difference was before I traded her in
👍
Thanks Dave this was very helpful!
I love a trim explainer. Keep it up. I keep wondering if Chevy will ever make the Traverse and EV.
Can you please do the 2025 version of this video? I'd like to see the comparison of the High Country trim.
I will once we get them in. Right now nothing in the factory pipeline as of yet
Forgot to mention on the LT it’s optional trailering package which adds enhanced cooling that alone is basically worth the upgrade from the LS
Congratulations Chevrolet, this design looks much better than the Traverse of a few years ago
So there is no option for a 2nd row bench seat for the RS and Z71? That sounds like my ideal setup
Great review. Really needs to be the standard
If GM just offered the 2rd row bench seat on the higher trims....
AMAZING review. arguably, the best one on youtube period. liked and subscribed.
@@dofuswiki-en sweet! Thanks for the sub 👍
Awesome job! Thank you!
Piano black scratches by just looking at it. They did a really good job on the rest of the vehicle
Yea, I agree.. it's funny I have been leaving all the little piano black storage doors open so no one accidently scratches them on test drives
I have a lot of piano black in my BMW X7 and have no scratches. Maybe they finished it differently?
Thanks for a great review. I am torn between getting the Traverse RS or GMC Denali. The main thing for me is how quite are they. Does the Traverse have acoustic glass? Have you been in a Denali and how do they compare?
This video was very informative. I currently own a 2020 and had to change the transmission this year!!! How is the transmission on the 2024 RS? Also is there a difference with the ones labeled Premier?
wow I have a 2017 Acura RDX maybe time to check the Traverse looks nice...
Very helpful!!
I love the sterling grey metallic. With black trim wheels ect looks sick . I wanna get the 25 equinox
I love these including the RS with Super Cruise but I don't need a vehicle that large (just me) so do any other Chevy's have similar trim options including Super Cruise in a smaller size? Thanks Dave !
How well do the headlights work at night, without any bumper/fog lights? I saw one video where the lighting seemed too dim.
Great review and information !! 👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
I hate that they got rid of the premier/high country. I like a good luxury trim, especially with a lighter color or brown interior colors. They probably believe buyers would go to the GMC Acadia though. I love the new dash display, the LS seems well equipped for the price.
yeah, seems like they’re starting to go more towards the sporty theme for the newer cars
HC/premier coming back for '25 or '26 MY...
Great video!! Love the comparison of vehicles.
What type of floor mats come in the RS compared to the other vehicles? Thanks in advance.
Best Traverse video to date
Absolutely Amazing well thought out video! Great Job; learned so much. One question i have is; if you buy an LT with midnight package could you put those 22 inch blacked out wheels on the LT instead of the 20’s? (Is that an option or even possible)? Ty in advance!
It looks like GM offers a 22" black accessory wheel that could be added through the parts department. Different style than the RS though
Great presentation. Love the RS and Z71. The RS IS sporty. Is there such a trim like RS and Z71 together? Let me know, please 🙏 😊
so have we droped the high country from the traverse like up?
btw new to selling cars and your videos have been a huge help in understanding the trim levels and what is standard on them, thank you
I would choose the Traverse Z71 trim with Lakeshore Blue Metallic color the only drawback is its 4 cylinder turbo engine when it comes to long term reliability.
Good job!! Best review!! 🎉
My wife has this vehicle a 2024 . i was thinking of getting one for myself but i really like the chevy tahoe 2025. I have an older chevy tahoe and an older gmc yukon
Small correction. The seating in the RS isn't Evotex; it's leather.
I think he said leather
Great video Dave. You explain things very well. We have a 2020 High Country Traverse and I would like to up grade to the RS model. My wife loves her V6. How does the new turbo compare to her V6? Once again a great video.
On paper the Turbo4 out performs the V6... Hits peak torque at lower rpm. I think if you are happy with the V6 you'd be happy with the turbo
I have the rs and the motor does just fine And I love the trim .
I love this Vehicle it has always been my favorite suv
are there no second row window shades for the kids?
I WAS looking for one. Had high hopes. Fell in love with the Z71....then I saw all the reviews where it struggles hard going up tiny trails cuz of it's "all-new" anemic 4 cyl.
Oh well.
Whoever is saying these things couldn’t be more off! I live in Arizona and we have had our z71 for 4 months and taken it off road into the mountain trails quite a few times and it has 0 struggle going small hills and climbs. We had the previous version with the 6 cylinder and I have to say the new turbo is vastly superior to the 6 in every way. More power better fuel efficiency etc…. This is an amazing vehicle 🙂👍🏼🇺🇸
@@silverlionblades Well I'm glad you like it. It looks amazing. But. Just as an example, go see the TFL offroad review. It couldn't climb one of the smallest obstacles.
Thanks for this very informative video. Glad I subscribed!
Thanks for the sub! Hopefully one day I hit that 100K!!
Question: If you don't mind, all categories have auto park feature??
Great video comparing the models! I am looking at trading in my Ford Explorer XLT to a Traverse RS
@@amandaherperger3471 Go for it! You'll love the RS
Great coverage Dave…Love your videos…
Great car... they give you a lot for the money. My only complaint is why didn't they put the rear wiper under the spoiler? I understand it costs extra but maybe on the Z71 & RS?
It does clean up the back end nicely when that wiper is hidden... not to mention no snow/ice build up
Did you mention anything about the drive modes? No one seems to know much about this topic. Wondering how a FWD traverse would do in snow when in a different drive mode.
Great review !! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Not bad Dave B 🇺🇸👍🏻💯
I have the Z71 without all the options. What I think is unfortunate is that there is not a light colored interior. I'd like to see gray and tan interiors on all models. I have a feeling GM kept the light interiors with the Acadia.
Really helpful thanks
So according to this video, the only trim level that has memory seats is the highest trim level? If that’s the case, then that really sucks because the base model literally has everything I would want except it doesn’t have the memory seats which I think would be so handy for our families since my husband and I switch off who is the primary driver of our family car…
Do you feel like it's enough leg room in the driver seat? Especially on that left leg rest.
Great video explaining everything. Sometimes it’s hard to see what’s different between them. That Z71 is lookin good to me. But can you get the BOSE system without getting the super cruise??
No.. the Bose is part of the enhanced driving package so you'd have to spend to get the super cruise if you want Bose
@@DaveBsellsChevy Welp they just lost a sale with that nonsense. Thats ridiculous. Also you need a subscription to use the Navigation you said at 5:18?
I would like to know if sun roof is standard in the RS because I don't like sun roof
Dave B you are one impressive dude! Say, can you give me the MRSP (ballpark estimate) for the Z and RS trims? thanks much --Jim Tasker Montana
The traverse is one generation away from replacing the Tahoe as the smaller suburban 😂🔥
Dave do you have any traverse lease deals? I noticed Chevy USA has a lease deal for the traverse LT but its at participating dealers I am wondering if your place is participating/ This is a serious question because im looking get a lease but having a hard time finding any dealer offering the deal and im willing to fly across the country
Yes, we honor all programs that are offered
We got the z71 and it’s great!
Awesome! Enjoy!
GM vehicles are one of the best in comfort and safety. Excellent family vehicle.Owned 2015 Traverse and had zero issues in 6 years except for headlights and breaks. Change oil religiously and they will go forever.
