My friend lost her dear son in Afghanistan and at his funeral, they played one of his favorite songs, Stairway to Heaven, and the winter clouds burst open at the cemetery and looked similar to this. I want to try to do it well enough to give it to her this fall. He died 3 days after his 20th birthday and he was my twin sons best friend.

I actually caught a picture of an actual stairway what looks like through clouds to Heaven. Of course there was not a dove flying around the top. I personally would have liked to see one dove. Not 3 but I know a painting needs balance as I paint as well. I don’t have a UA-cam or Facebook I just paint for the Joy of it. This is a great painting. I am very very impressed.
