- In this video I'll be going over the super simple recipe as well as showing you step by step how to make room + linen sprays for your business! Room Sprays have been decent sellers for me, they seem to do best at markets during the spring and summer months! (When people don't want to burn as many candles because it's 8 billion degrees outside.)

DISCLAIMER Always make sure to test your candles and never just use my (or any one else's) process without testing. Every wax, wick, and fragrance combo can and usually will change your entire candle!
Thank you for sharing this!! Do you think a magnetic stirrer would help would with cloudiness?
I've heard of people using them for that so it definitely might! I notice the more I stir sometimes it starts to clear up a bit more so that's definitely possible! I just haven't tested it out myself so I ca't say for sure. ❤
Thank you. ♥️
@ThekocholateJournalist Absolutely! Thanks for watching!! 😄
You’re welcome
You should try the Body and Room Spray Base from Northwood Candle Supply. Just one step, add your F.O. and bottle it. Big time saver for me.
Thank you Nick this was my next step after completing my first Candle line.
Absolutely! So glad I could help!! ❤

Absolutely!! Thanks for watching/subscribing! 😄
Great !!!!
Thank you for sharing. What would be the shelf life once made?
Absolutely! Thanks for watching! It's kinda hard to know for sure, but I still have some from over a year and a half ago that are still good! So I would say at the very least, a year! But I'm getting close to 2 years on a few and still no issues! It may be different with different fragrances though but I would say at least a year. 😀
Thank you!
@@sherri7542 Anytime! 🙂
Hello thank you for the formula
How long is shelf life ?
I don't know for sure but i've had some that we use for personal use for probably close to 2 years now and they still smell and work great!
I need to find a way to get labels that look nice and I really like how you did your room spray and suggestions
I use the “weatherproof vinyl” type labels from online labels! 😄
@@the1994candleco I’m interested in getting some so basically you had a graphic designer make your labels and you upload the png ?
Oh no, haha! I designed them myself in canva! 😄 I have been doing graphic design for over 10 years though (the last 5 years as part of my full time job) so I mean I guess you’re not totally off! 🤣
Absolutely love this video!!! Question... I see you didn't put a lot of fragrance oil is this a highly scented spray asking because I definitely want to try and make this but I love a highly scented room spray.
You want to look at IFRA statements for all fragrance to see how much is allowed in room spray! But yes 5% makes it very fragrant! Honestly sometimes you could easily do 3%-4% with stronger fragrances!
You do want to be careful, adding too much fragrance can also leave oil spots on fabric or furniture/floors etc.
@@the1994candleco I want to double the amount that you're making, is it just as simple as doubling the ingredients sizes??
Yes! 😄
Hi Nick! Thank you for the video :) would you know an alternate preservative? Or would sorbic acid in power form work too?
I haven’t personally tested any other preservatives so I’m not sure unfortunately! So sorry! You can definitely test it out, I would just maybe wait a couple weeks/months before selling and see if any mold etc begins to form in the bottle, that’s basically what the preservative does is make sure mold doesn’t form as you’re using water.
@@the1994candleco thank you so much🤍
Does the base help the scent last longer and can we use this for car fragrances as well?
You can spray these in cars but I don’t think it’s the same as a car diffuser if that’s what you mean?
How well does the spray last in a room spray
I don’t really have a way to measure it but I’ve always had good results and reviews! Just like with candles some scents are stronger and others are naturally lighter! 😄
Hello, thank you for sharing your video. I’m still a little confused about the formula. I have a one (8oz) spray bottle. How can plug does numbers in the 8oz bottle? And I’m also using essential oil instead of fragrance oil. I hope I can get some help
Hello! Here's the recipe that I used. (Also in the description box)
Makes 1 4oz bottle
3.68 oz water
.08 oz poly 20
.20 oz fragrance
.04 oz preservative
So you'd just want to double the recipe for an 8oz bottle. So instead of 3.68 ounces of distilled water you'd want 7.36 ounces and so on. Hope that makes sense! :)
@@the1994candleco thank you so much 😊
is 5% 5 grams?
Depends on how much you’re making! Here’s the formula: Makes 1 4oz bottle
3.68 oz water
.08 oz poly 20
.20 oz fragrance
.04 oz preservative
You’ll have to convert the ounces to grams if that’s what you’re using. 😄
