This bike is such an aspiration for me. It is so perfect that I would not change a thing to it. I hear Elvis singing and smell of pancakes and coffee when I look at it.

I bought a 18 electric blue deluxe. I fell in love with just the way it is. Yes I bought different mufflers, passenger pegs and engine guard.
Very good review. Not to much talking, good information without putting us to sleep. You sound like you know your bikes. I bought my 18 last Xmas and I just can’t stop looking at her. One point, not all of us want to put new parts on our bikes. I feel in love with the Deluxe the way it looked stock. I have different pipes, engine guard and passenger pegs.
I fell in love with her Father's day weekend. I'll take my riding course this Friday🥰

Nice bike bought one early 2020 the first thing I did was put on a Solo Spring Seat and added Cruise Control then put on Freedom Exhaust with turnouts and quiet baffles tuned by Power Vision and Target Tuner with Wide Band O2 Sensors.
@Romack Davidson mine runs like an ape after getting and enema.

@@theinfinitryda Yes but it is a work in progress. Added a windshield, fender bib, and changing pipes next week to Rineharts.
You almost stole my own words. Over many years the Deluxe slowly went from "not my style" to just growing on me a little more every time I saw it. I may very well pick one up as my next harley and just rip the bags and bars off a Heritage. After buying a 2020 Sport Glide I am kind of spoiled. Don't want to go full size bagger yet but don't ever want to give up mid size bags ever again lol
Hey IR, the bike is major cool, the one change I'd have to make is the 2-tone color from Red/Black to Red/Midnight Crimson then add cruise control and the windshield and saddle-bags. It's "fly" at that point. Now it'd be "pimp-tacular" to the core! Doug 🏍️🤓🦁🐻👍🏍️😁

Other pipes in same style, change indicators, off with the auxilery light, maybe a Seat with a little more back support and snap of sidebags in leather.
No high bars or Airride for me - its close to perfect.

Looks just like my wife’s Deluxe. I have only ridden hers once. I’m 6’4”, have my RK setup for a tall rider. I find it very uncomfortable for a tall rider. It looks amazing though!

Btw, the subtle differences between the deluxe and the heritage push me toward the deluxe, however, the slim (blacked out with decent apes) is right in my wheelhouse.

Love the way they look. I'm an absolute beginner but I'm a pretty big guy 6'1" 225lbs. I've sat on a few and the slim, heritage and deluxe are the most comfortable to me. Which of the 3 would you recommend for a beginner rider? I'm taking my MSF at the end of the month and hope to buy one of these models in the very near future. I've heard a million times to NOT buy a Harley as my first bike, and I've also heard a million times that I should learn to ride the bike I want. Dealers and salespeople have been helpful, but I hope to gain as many perspectives as possible. Thanks in advance, Mr. Ryda!

Thanks for the video. I've had an Indian Scout since 2016. It was my first bike. Now I'm ready for a change. I like the weight and height of the Scout. But I need more comfort and quiet. They talked me into getting RC Exaust pipes. They are sooo loud. I also want something a little bigge rwith bags and a windshield. Would the Softail Deluxe be an option for me? Or would it be too big?
It would but the just discontinued them so you might want to grab one quick as those are very popular
Tonya, I'm currently trying to decide between the scout and the softail deluxe. I have both dealerships near me. They know me well. I have been going back and forth trying to decide for months. They have both been pretty good in not pressuring me about deciding.
Just 2 complaints..no cruise ( which is completly stupid) and there should be more paint options. This is a good video..no damn head banging music....that's Fantastic..btw...oh ok then.....ride on

It sucks the Deluxe along with Breakout & FXDR have been discontinued for '21
mark tatum that’s true. It does suck but they should be bringing new bikes to take their place hopefully
I'm thinking that is just one (3) of the cost cutting measures in an attempt to get the Motor Company back into the black.

(not quality) will kickstart sales, only time will tell. The Deluxe will be missed by alot of people.
