I have the 2019 FXLR in the Dark Cherry. 6000 mi so far with no problems. I put the 14" windshield on it, the rear rack, some soft adventure style bags, and rode it 3000+ miles from Alabama to Colorado and back comfortably with no issues. For me at 170lbs and 5'7'' it was way more comfortable than the Street Bob which was the other option in my price range.The stock seat is great. Cant recommend enough for a comfortable all around Softail from Harley.

Good honest review. I love this bike so much, I just purchased a 2019 Low Rider yesterday. Love the feel of the bike (seat, handlebars, controls, etc.) and probably the most comfortable riding position of any bikes I looked at purchasing. The Softail frame has really made this bike even better and what else can you say about the M8. Have been away from riding for some time, but felt very comfortable on this machine. It is not intimidating and a pure pleasure to ride.
I bought the white pearl and love it...fast just stock, put the slammer bars on and forward controls. Fun to ride

This was one of my choices but I ended up with a street bob. Good video!
I was looking at a Street Bob at the local dealer. I didn't like the mini apes & stock seat. When I asked the salesguy about the cost of changing the bars & seat, the cost was more than a stock Low Rider. I'm still yet to purchase a HD ... would like new, but need to keep saving.

Not to be stereotyping or anything, but does the Low Rider suffer from oil leakage problems?
Travis Haar it doesn’t. That was a stereotype from the older bikes. It’s an excellent machine

Would anyone recommend the Low Rider over an Iron 883 (or even the Low Rider S over the Iron 1200)?
Travis Haar I ride an 883 that’s been converted but the low riding is a larger bike with a six gear. It would be more versatile and can take longer rides than the Sportster comfortably
