I did it, I did it, I bought a 18 Softail Deluxe with 1473 miles. Electric blue color. I’m so stoked!! Come on summer time.
Congrats! I'm thinking about buying a 17 FXDL with 4295 miles on it, two tone Bonneville Blue / Fathom Blue myself.
Congrats! Welcome to the party 🤙
Nice. How's it going two years later?
@@gregorycampbell1857 honestly I haven’t ridden it. You see I bought because I love that model so much but I’m in a wheelchair. I was hit on my bike back in 1980 and have been in a wheelchair ever since :(. No I won’t do a trike sorry. But I love to look at BLU and polish her. Couple buddies cone over and take her for ride to stretch her out. Ty
@@ronmarvicsin7709 Oh wow. Sorry to hear.

One of the best videos I’ve ever seen on bikes.
It's about time I have been looking for an explanation like that for a while
This is an incredibly well done video and very helpful, thank you for putting this together
I got a 2018 Fat Bob; still very happy with IT 👌🏼
I'm not an active nor adamant Harley rider, but out of all the bikes I've tested out from Harley, the Deluxe has got to be my favorite. It's classic looks are gorgeous and it is perfect for just cruising around. It's exactly what I want from a company like Harley.
What an awesome video. So glad i came across your channel. Love your work mate. Thank you.
Excellent rundown of the softails ... this new softail platform is extremely exciting and you nicely cleared up the line. Cheers
Great video with a lot of really good info! Wish I had seen it a week ago! I just bought a 2015 Deluxe. I was on a Street 750 (my first ever bike) which was a blast, but not great on longer rides. I bought the Deluxe bc I thought it would answer my craving for my developing love of longer rides. Being a new rider and new to the riding community, I had no idea about the street glide. Sorta wish I had tested one BUT....I LOVE my Classic so far🥰.
Tyvm for this. Was looking at picking up a Sportster and then fell in love with the Street Bob. Been riding for 50 years and this will be my first Harley.
I greatly appreciate the fact based approach you use here. Very informative and very useful.
This very informative video sold me on the Sport Glide. I purchased a 2020 and am super happy with everything about it.
I learned to ride two years ago. I bought a iron 1200 (2020) and it's a blast to ride around town on the weekend and riding it to work. When i get that itch for a longer run, I'd say at least a couple hours, my butts hurts after an hour and since it doesn't have cruise control, my throttle hand cramps, so I'm thinking about upgrading to a softail or a street glide. Great informative video. I knew I searched for a blockhead video about this for a reason.
Very precise very detailed ! Love the video ! All the best keep doing such videos.
Thanks mate! very informative in helping me learn about the various differences.
Amazing video 🙌🏽🏍 I’m trynna get myself a softail for next summer.
Thank you for the very informative video. Keep up the great work. And yes, please do a 2020 Touring video.
Great rundown on the differences. Thanks Blockhead!
I have a 2019 107 street Bob (1st bike). Just hit 1 yr/10k miles with it and I’m still in love!! Awesome beginner bike
I always wanted the Softail Slim S. Love the look and thought it was comfy when I took it for a test drive. It will be a bit before I can afford one but I think I'll do a few more test drives before I settle on that decision. Thanks for the video!
Fell in love with the Softail Slim myself!
I just bought a 2023 Softail Standard. Absolutely love it. Lots of power and a canvass to build it how i want it
I have the 2019 heritage blue and white . Love it
Excellent review. Very comprehensive!. Keep up the amazing work! You have a new subscriber!
This is a GREAT video. Nice work on the details!
Great video! I bought a Sport Glide and love it! Harley did a great job designing the Soft Tail chassis.
Great video! Thank you Seminole Harley Davidson!
Well explained on all differences on bikes, I got the 2021 Fat bob. lights, suspension, exhaust, like it!
I bought the new Fat Bob and I must says " What a different " . The monoshock suspension Is awesome and much better for my back. Performance is also much better . I am 1,90 M and fits perfect , didn't expect that before I made a test drive . Great video.
Great video. Learnt heaps. Thinking about getting a Harley. Super expensive here in Australia though.
I just got the street bob on the 3rd of this month at Orlando Harley. As a first time rider, it has a stupid amount of power and I love it. Pro tip put forward controls
MAN GREAT JOB!!! I LOVED THE VIDEO!!! VERY INFORMATIVE!!!👍🏽
Great review. I just got the sport glide. Almost impossible to find any negative views on it
Pretty bikes, congrats on 200k.Your channel has almost doubled since FLMM.
Hey man, great vid! How about the touring bikes?
I really am digging the softail platforms, man. They ride really good.
Insofar as factory bobbers go, I still have yet to see any company pull it off as well as victory with the highball. That is just on a different level.
My favorite harley is still the Lowrider S, though. Most beautiful and raw cruiser right out of the box.
I bought a 2003 Heritage Classic Softtail, the bike is amazing and handles like a dream! Harley 4-Ever🤘🏻🤘🏻
Have an 06 took off bags and windshield love the look get a lot of complaints with white walls tires and spokes 🇺🇸🤙
Great Vid again. I've converted to HD for cruisers. I love the look of the Fat Bob, I may trade it in for the FXDR next year but for now, it's an absolute joy to ride and look at. LEAVE THE LIGHTS! lol
Great job on this video. Lots of info to take in.
Excellent video, thumbs up, subbed!
My favorite Harley line is the Solftail.
My faves, based in my riding style, are in this order:
Sport Glide
Heritage Classic
Fatboy (my fave but less practical for me)
Breakout (sexy as hell)
Breakout
Fatbob
FXDR (last but not least)
Used to hate the new fatbob... now I'm liking the look of it more and more
I really wanna see the Low Rider with mini apes on it. I wasn’t a fan of the T-Bars on it until I rode it. However I think I want the Street Bob with mag wheels. Although I also love the bigger fuel capacity on the Low Rider. Too tough to choose.
My favorite is the Sport Glide. Thanks 👍
Go test ride it. It is a fun bike to ride. Awesome bike.
@@mojomanmurph1925 I'm not allowed to in Australia... still on a restriction for CCs
@@turtle19dad I think the dyna is no more.
November 2017 I bought my 18 Heritage. I love it more and more with all of it's 11k miles
Thank you soo much. This had been the most helpful for me.
Thanks for the thorough video 👍🏻 I just bought a very low (~340 miles) mileage 19’ FXDR, wanted a Fatboy or a Fatbob but no luck. I like it so far, but would love to have your feedback regarding any issues or recommended mods. Best regards,,
Another thing about softail is the engine is hard mounted unlike the touring which are still rubber mounted. also some come with the cruise control which is super great. great video.
I just bought my first Harley (best decision I ever made) and I find your videos the best, most informative and enjoyable, thanks, keep it up!
Congratulations
What exactly you got?
Thank you for the exact info. , Verbal and visual , that I wanted to receive. 👍🏼🍻
Awesome review Loved it very detailed!
I test rode the FXDR last weekend, it is a fun bike to ride. Only thing negative i could say is the breather causes your right leg to sit out a bit so you cant hug the gas tank with your knees.
Softail slim here ;
Love the traditional old school look - floorboards -
Low & beefy-
Yeah definitely Softail Slim! Coolest bike from Harley in a long time with 2500.00 in upgrades to exhaust and air cleaner, you have a badass bike that looks great and runs like mf’er! HD forever!
@@j.n.jacksonjr.170 getting older now and choppers will be out cause of rake . I am liking floorboards now also . So I ride my 2003 softail standard with 33.5 degrees rake . I bit harder to hold up a stop ; front wants to twist .
I ride wife’s 2007 streetbob with 29 degrees rake and much easier to ride and hold up at stop .
No bagger for me . Older ya get shoulders go and less weight all the better . Pulling that thing over !!!-
Well ; keep your knees in the breeze - ✊🏻👍👌🙏
I hear ya Brother, just turned 59 myself, my 76 shovel with rake and extended front end and highway pegs is nostalgic but not suited for me or my age. Just test rode a 2018 Softail Slim and absolutely love the bike, old school style with great handling and power! Floorboards are very comfortable. Stay up Bro! HD forever!
@@j.n.jacksonjr.170 yup ; amen ta that -
Turned 60 here . Gal I know at HD dealer said : “ you ride one them new ones and you will love the ride and power.” She preferred the fat boy . I also have a shovelhead 74 - 1974 fxe in atlas softail frame . S&s cyls, std heads , Jim s 5speed , Dave mackie head job and cam . Mega bucks -
Kids want it and prefer it and sound over Twinkie.
Keep anti trading and buying straight out save from taking it in rear and have garage full now . ✊🏻👍👌🙏
Rode the 2019 Fat Bob 114. That's the ride man, that's the ride. You can blast through the two lane blacktop corners with ease. You can grab the throttle on the last 1/3 of the curve coming out and then you're off, blasting down the road. Pricing is a bit steep but this bike H.D. got right. Love the Red and the White.
Bought me a 2018 low rider softail. Absolutely loving it.
Very informative video man. 👍🏻👍🏻
I just bought the same heritage shown in the video. My first bike and i love it.
Awesome video Blockhead ... Thanks for taking the time to make the video brother .. Love the Fat Bob , a nice bike and the seat is very comfortable, but definitely not a fan of the headlight design ..
Thank you for video . I just got a sport glide .
I love the diversity in the soft tail line up. The streetbob is my dream bike and I love it the way it is. The rest are also absolutely amazing in their own way too like the deluxe.
I recommend anyone thinking of buying a new Harley to watch this video first before watching any other videos. Nice job Block Head!
Just traded my Roadster for a Low Rider, (I only went to the dealer to book in for a service) just fell in love with it in twisted cherry
I have a Lowrider also, I love it except it is hard to turn in turn around.
Good reviews thanks Blockhead!!!
Bought a 2019 Low rider, best running best handling Harley I've ever had
Timely video; I've been strongly considering a softail for my vertically challenged self. The Street Bob and Low Rider are contenders due to their mid-controls. Thanks for another thorough review.
Did u buy one?
@@julianvaldiviezo1904 I did; used 2016 FLSS in late 2019. I swapped out the seat for a Le Pera Solo Forward and am working on my 2nd season now.
Thanks for this video finally. Haha, though I'm still annoyingly torn between a few options
Great job as usual!! I think I might have you narrate my funeral when the day come. 😂 Your stats and facts were spot on!
Good video! Facts presented well and clear.
Thanks, awesome viewing of the bikes. I appreciate that.
Love the heritage classic 114! Fat boy, fat bob too! I’ll take em all lol. It’s a motorcycle ! Keep up the good work blockhead. Great detailed video !
Right when I heard that bell sound I was waiting for Hells Bells to start playing by AC/DC..lol
my dads got a 2002 Harley Davidson Softail Fatboy that he bought about 9 years ago, he's loved the bike ever since.
By far the best video I've ever seen well done.
Loving the street bob! Of course amsoil in it always!
This was very informative! Thank you! Been watching you for awhile! I'm from Fresno California and the cholo style has been around for along time. Would be awesome if you did that in Florida and did your own thing on a Chicano style Harley. Much love brother!
Between the FXDR and another sporty cruiser I'd have to go with the XDiavel. I have my Springer classic for cruising but yeah, for a sport cruiser I think HD needs to update a bit more.
Best explanation of the Softail line I've found 👍👍
Daaamn.. thats a lot of infomation.. Thanks dude.. I learned a lot. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you You gave me much info for my not too distant purchase
I absolutely love my 2019 FXFB.. I test road all the other Softails and the fatbob was perfect for me. Being a tall guy the controls just fit me great.
How tall are you?
@@ffstretch 3’7.25”
@@ffstretch 57cm
thanks buddy. Just what I needed!
nice. thanks, i will stay with my 2013 softail slim.
I don’t know if you still do test rides but I would love to see your full thoughts on the softail slim
I have a 2014 Breakout I bought last month 8/2020 with only 3K miles on it. It looked showroom perfect. it has the 103 though.(I wanted the 114 M-8. but the price was too good to pass on) but that bike still hauls ass and the torque is unreal. I put Vance & Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 chrome pipes on it, as well as all Kuryakyn Zombie Skull foot pegs, brake pad and gear shifter. with chrome turn signal lens covers. this bike is a show stopper. I am constantly being complimented on how badass it looks. and those pipes give it that get the FU^^ out of my way rumble. I will ride this for years. I am very happy with it. only close call was the Fat-Boy. but the breakout wins for me.
Great video…I enjoyed and Mrs. Gunz will be watching it as we are in the market for her.
Fantastic video. Thank you.
thank you for ur video, it is a very imformative and so clear, more video sir!!!
Great review! Love the Heritage Softail! Oh and Fatboy!
That Deluxe is lookin mighty fine omg
Beautifully explained. 👍🏻
Bell yeah!! Thats the best I've seen out all the youtube creators!! It's so catchy!! Touché!
Compared to any other person promoting or explaining these Harleys you make me want any of those I do have a favorite
Blockhead,
I’m 6’0” about 210lbs, athletic build, I’ve had people tell me I need a 1200CC bike and I’ve had others say a 650CC bike would suffice, looking to buy a cruiser for my first motorcycle. Do you have a specific video going over how to choose the right size motorcycle? I don’t want to look like a clown on the bike. Thanks man, loved watching your learning to ride videos!
Prior to my current bike, I had a 2018 Street Bob. I miss that bike on the daily. And for those that miss the Dyna, you may be high on nostalgia... If I could do a second bike, I'd have another in a second.
I own a deuce. Think it's the coolest softail ever. Looks awesome with radical paint and custom parts. Love the rake wider tire. A ness lowering kit . Still love it.
I also am the deuce 2004 Screaming Eagle love that bike
I have a 2014 softail slim fls, great bike!
Very well done and educational.
Nice job on this one Block, they’re all beautiful bikes, for me I like the Fat Bob & Heritage, both are super comfy & handle really well, unfortunately they’re all out of my price range but I’m still content on my Sportster.
I like the Softail Slim!
Cool vid. I own the Street Bob and I’m ssstill waiting for someone to make an aftermarket back fender. I hate the way the back fender sits. Almost like it belongs to a different model. I’d love a duck tail softail fender.
I thought I would miss the mid-controls on my previous ride, but a few miles later on my 2018 Sport Glide, brought me into another realm....HD R&D dept. nailed it.....however, did go with mini apes, and stage 1...lol...GOD is GOOD....ride safe and often....live2ride2live....arhoooooo arhoooooo arhoooooo
Bought the Deluxe, sure rides nice. With the 12 inch apes, fits me just fine.
I bought myself a 2018 Anniversary Edition Fatboy 114 & I’m just a show stopper on the road with that Badass Fatboy 👍
The bikes the showstopper not you 😉
Next bike I get will be a street bob or low rider awesome video
