Point is Arc a bit experimental and temperamental so this could struggle more with older games & older APIs.

One thing that's off about the non-Steam deck PC handhelds is that their screens are way too good for what the devices can do. Valve, the company who did maybe 5 hardware devices in their lifetime did that from the first try and then everyone is like no, our devices have to show that they are MEANT FOR GAMERS.
the good thing is the design and plastic is not as cheap looking as the Legion Go, the bad thing is that i can't ignore the thought of it copying the design of the Ally since the button shape (especially the start/select and duo shortcut key on the bottom of it) is so similar at least from the front
I just got a legion go and the build quality is top notch. I held an ROG Ally and I could no justify paying 700 for it. But once again I don’t know anything about VRR so I ended up with the go based on build quality.

cooler boost for over clocking..... or if you want to play any game on the gs66 stealth.... love how thin and light it is and it has a lot of power (2070 max Q) but the thermals are not good. never had a game crash with it on but even dead cells will make the computer shut down. Edit: its also possible my unit is "defective" the fans will not turn onto "max" without hitting the cooler boost button. aside from that it has served me well for the last few years.
I have a steam deck and the Lenovo legion go its going to see how well the legion go compares to the steam deck and how well Windows holds compared other hand held I originally had the Logitech g cloud. I might just sell my steam deck because now I have full access to more than just Stan store I can natively play Xbox and other games via other stores

The fan ill on the top of the claw was a monster, I wish Dava talk abit more about AI function mode as to the generic wattage mode (Silent, Perfomance and Full power mode) and the ultra fan boost
The most sad thing is that for some reason everyone in pc handhelds market besides valve, ayaneo and gpd embrace this GAMERS aesthetics.
Like, i understand, there's a number of people who enjoy bright led lights, shiny black glossy devices, ok ok there's a market for that. But can you also make a device for everyone else? Valve, the company who did maybe 5 hardware devices in their lifetime did that from the first try and then everyone is like no, our devices have to show that they are MEANT FOR GAMERS.
Great to see the improvement about battery life. Looking forward the performance testing result.
Dave's accent is pronounced when he says "Button" i love it
the good thing is the design and plastic is not as cheap looking as the Legion Go, the bad thing is that i can't ignore the thought of it copying the design of the Ally since the button shape (especially the start/select and duo shortcut key on the bottom of it) is so similar at least from the front
The Legion Go does not have a cheap look to it at all. But the MSI Claw does have a more expensive look to it than the Rog Ally.
I just got a legion go and the build quality is top notch. I held an ROG Ally and I could no justify paying 700 for it. But once again I don’t know anything about VRR so I ended up with the go based on build quality.
The Legion Go is currently the best gaming PC Handheld
The legion go is a metal case. It's by far the most expensive looking PC handheld, although not the most ergonomic.
@@cheerful_crop_circle not according to those vrr fanboys out there
I would definitely opt for the Dragon logo, which best represents performance.
If Msi and the rog would have been release same time I would buy the msi claw I like how it looks more the msi I had to buy a case because the white plastic was showing signs of wear where you grab with yours hands. I feel they kind late to the game and they dint brings anything different to change device.
Rog Ally is literally in my cart, the competition is high I think we need to wait another 6 months for complete handheld PC
Asus confirmed a new model later this year, so I would definitely hold off unless you really want it now
i think the cooler boost options if for users in tropical countries. where temps can reach to 30c inside their homes.
Im an old school gamer. Never gotten used to the extra trigger buttons on controllers cant see me using it on the handheld devices either.....
I’m so glad this market has become competitive.
Folding phones, gaming handhelds, record players, boom box, can we make sd cards come back for the phones? I wonder what else is gonna come back next
holy moly, i thought this was gonna be a video of speculation and guesses, never thought bro would pull one out🤣dats so goated
I can't believe the market is that big as for so many competitors...
The smaller back batttttooonn! 🧐😅 Love how he pronounces it! 5:58
All Gabe did was give us a handheld gaming device for our steam library and now we have a whole handheld gaming console war imagine that
Steam Deck is the only handheld worth getting. Amazing support from Valve and community, runs Linux, optimized and frequent update, great screen, great price, great control with community control profile, best emulation machine.
I'm guessing the cooler boost is so in the future you can use the thunderbolt input for an external GPU.
50% plus more! The battery life matters a lot in a handheld device! Also, when you hold it on hand for a couple of hours, I guess that ergonomic feel will help.
Man what a time to be a handheld gamer. We are so spoilt for choice!
Ruhoh, the sd card slot is positioned exactly how the rog ally is. Hope they don't have the same issue
cooler boost for over clocking..... or if you want to play any game on the gs66 stealth.... love how thin and light it is and it has a lot of power (2070 max Q) but the thermals are not good. never had a game crash with it on but even dead cells will make the computer shut down.
What were the devs thinking? Don't they Listen to customer requests after the current handheld experiences? Large border around the screen, hence screen could be bigger, no OLED, no touchpad...
Almost all AMD based chip capped at 30-35, and this at 45...I can't imagine the battery life in full blast...i hope the power use is scaled well with team red, at least 1:1 performance at 30 watt below...
this is bs and almost all AMD handhelds are much faster than this. Besides, Intel GPU drivers are the worst and you cannot even run many games, while the rest have issues and glitches...
That's the perfect hairdo for some early 80's italodisco.
Cooler boost is for desktop mode
That finish on the casing of the MSI is already wearing off wow.
That turbo fan mode will be for the boost algorithms and thermal throttling... or to prevent throttling
Crazy to see MSI steamdeck....excited to see gameplay in a handheld other than laptop!
having a pure windows gaming handheld windows gaming os would be gameover
fingers crossed for MSI
