Nice video. Would have loved to hear more about how your preparation worked out, Wim Hof method and such. Wife and I are planning to go next year and curious where to put our efforts
Thank you! I found the Wim Hof method helpful but between the diamox, the "hike high, sleep low" philosophy, and staying hydrated and well-fed, there were a lot of factors that helped with the climb also. i'd say getting plenty of training hikes in the months beforehand, keeping a decent diet, and keeping a good attitude were by far the most important factors in my preparation. Good luck to you guys!! its an amazing experience.
Another high quality video. Thank you for sharing it. I gotta ask: ~ are you going for the 7 Summits or just be-boppin’ around the globe on good coins? ~ what was the cost of Killi? You said Denali was $11k so I’m imagining Killi is less. And in all seriousness…are you independently wealthy or are you able to take all these trips just by saving? Thanks for another wonder edit.
Awesome video and great commentary! I am planning a trip to Kilimanjaro next summer and can’t wait! I was wondering how you were able to fly your drone since it says it’s illegal online. I’d love to bring mine but was unsure if I’d be able to use it.
Great video! Love the narration! Noticed your group was very small. How did you manage that? Was it a private tour or it was just luck that only those people showed up? Also, did you get a chance to walk over to the crater and the glacier?
Very nice video. This is the one and only route I’d choose to climb Kili (hopefully in the not so far future). I was wondering: how tedious was it to get the permit to fly your drone up there?
thank you!! It was definitely the biggest difficulty in the climb. some were more affected by others, but everyone in the group summited. With the Lemosho route, you have plenty of time to acclimate, but we all had our fare share of headaches, a bit of nausea, and having to stop and catch our breaths often haha.
Oof… between the expedition and flights (I live in Oregon US) it was nothing short of around $8000 but that’s before all the gear cost which I already had most of!
You have excellent quality videos. I wish you can continue to make more. Thanks
Music is stunning got the vibes of Masters of the Air
Thank you! You really captured the “feels” of it! Amazing!! My daughter is hiking Kilimanjaro this month. 🥰

Turn you cell phone to portrait.
Amazing hike! im planning it for 2025. Can you bring a drone on the hike? and tips of what youd do differently if you went again?
Thanks for sharing🎉😊

Awesome video, I loved the whole thing. But, did you really expect there to be toilet paper at a pit toilet halfway up a mountain?
great movie bud and well done!! when did you go? it looks empty which’s awesome
Nice

I'm curious as well...didn't know one needed a permit.
Love the video! How did the altitude affect your group?
