Sad that they were stuck up there forever. I was wondering how they got down but since it ended I assume they didn't. RIP to this brave guy! Seems a little much for a hobby though. To each his own. 🧐

Really cool; I don't see how the guide is protecting the fall, if you fell, there's no anchor; he's just short roping you and hoping you don't fall? It seems if you fall, he'd fall..

There should be no ladders or ropes on this mountain ....

The Matterhorn is not the most beautiful mountain in the world. That would be Mt. Fuji.

Amazing hike! im planning it for 2025. Can you bring a drone on the hike? and tips of what youd do differently if you went again?

Really well done. I climbed this on 3 August and had to crampon up at the Solvay hut. Spicy. Great video.

Leave out the intrusive music. It's ridiculous. Pathetic fake drama. I'm here for information not music. Shame, you spoiled a good video of stunning scenery

And he exaggerates the difficulty of the climb. The Eiger North face is way more dangerous, also the Mont Blanc.

I can imagine climbing up, but the downclimb has to be wicked hard and much more dangerous.

I would assume making it back down to the bottom is what counts the most... because if you don't make it back down, you can't tell anyone you climbed it, because you're dead.

Absolutely brilliant video. Congrats on the successful ascent! I would say that the Alps' most dangerous mountain is by far the Eiger. No fixed ropes or ladders there :) (with the exception of the Hinterstoisser traverse)

Uh, like, an interesting c o n t r a s t to e.g. Honnold and a humble free solo up El Cap. Highest respect is due since it's more tricky for sure than just taking the cable car to Monte Rosa. Really! Much better!! Seriously!!! And all before breakfast with no long years of prep needed. So good and clever thank you!

As someone who is still fit at 55, but not a trained mountaneer, I would love to climb the Matterhorn. Realistically, I think reaching the Hornlihutte is about what I would want to attempt next time I'm in Zermatt. Any thoughts on what a person needs to consider when attempting this peak?

Epic video and climb. Well done. I love hiking in the mountains but I'd get vertigo climbling something like the Matterhorn. Would love to do it but seeing this I realise what a challenge it must be.

As an avid moutain adventurer myself, this is best video about moutain climbing I have ever watched. The music and narrative voice, tone, and climbing footage are supreme. This is period the best, way better than any other professional mountain documentary. Keep it up with good work. Stay safe!

I lived in Switzerland a bit in my early 20s and visited many times thereafter. Took me 20 years just to SEE the Matterhorn as I always got bad weather. Nearly cried when I finally saw it aged 45. This video was beautiful and brought back some nice memories. It also gave me anxiety watching you wander across that knife edge at the summit! Great production and presentation of that amazing mountain. Congrats.

I planned to do the North Face of this mountain over a 3 year programme following the Troll Wall and the Eiger North Face from 1984 - 1986... Unfortunately, I didn't make the last face but hey ho, that's Mountaineering... Lost a mate on this Face also... RIP Al McCleod 🙁🙁
