The best UA-cam videos I seen in a week. kilimanjaro seemed to have , the entire earth's atmosphere in one spot. I would not know that if, it was not due to your informative and educational videos. I just wanted to hug that ice glescio, before it all gone.

Thank you for showing us a part of the world few of us will ever see, and thank you for appreciating the way you do. Your love for our planet shows in every scene. Be well, Alex
Stunning video.... beautiful view left and right. Thank you for bringing this to us who unable to go there by ourselves. And those porters are super human.... Seriously....
You capture the spirit of Africa so well (aren't those guys something else?!) Excellent cinematography and narration. I've been on a number of stunning hikes in South Africa and so now I climbed Kilimanjaro vicariously thanks to you guys!
I noted, while you were in the tent commenting on your stomach problems and dehydration the porters were strategizing( in kishwahili) on how to get you some water !! They are grossly underpaid!!
They do that for a living and they know when to abandon whitey and when to help him. If you think they are underpaid you are welcome to chip in a few pounds.
Great video footage and edition, but what an awesome comment Mringi. It is not just that they are underpaid and overworked. These porters are part of a colonialist industry that takes advantage of their work and throws only crumbs at them. People like these bros make amazing videos and profit out of them, together with the owners of the tour operators that are mostly from western countries. In the meantime, porters don't have a decent salary or a humane place to sleep or proper food to eat. The maker of this video comes to a moment of realization where he seems to realize the meaning of life. However, that realization doesn't even touch on the awful way these porters are treated or his damn white privilege At least he had the courtesy to say thank you to those brave porters. The moment the porters become the center of these video adventures, both in practice and in theory, is the moment that the hiking industry becomes sustainable. In the meantime, keep using the porters for the nice footage.
Intense photography and video, paired with an intense respect for the Kili Warriors and the stunning natural surroundings made for a moving experience! Thank You
