Great session mate! looked like a lot of fun
That was great thanks mate. Subscribed.
Killer episode mate. One of your best (my fave has got to be the spearfishing one at that spot). Keep it up!
Thanks legend! Will definitely be more!
Good post on the subject, your enthusiasm is contagious.... will be eging fishing tomorrow. My favorite colors are also white and gold, but sometimes dark is good, black or brown when nothing else works. My suggestion is to take out the squid, cut them to length and hang them up to dry. In Asia, dried squid are a popular snack.
Good job on the squid, good job with the video and and can’t wait for some more snapper videos to come out🤙
Thanks! There will definitely be snapper eps coming! 💪
So Good!
Great stuff bud!

#fishingvictoria keep up the squiding vids👍
#fishingvictoria squiding vids are the best
I'm new to fishing (pre 5 lockdown) and frustrated Icannot get out as i want.
Gear for target fishing is useful to me and much appreciated along with how to use it efficiently. Cleaning and filleting is also useful.
Aside from that, getting it into an interesting video format is another skill and you are doing it very well without being over the top. Much appreciated.
Progressive information in future videos relating to tides and weather will be helpful to others like me as opposed to pros thinking everyone already knows that.
Does moon phases make a difference too?
Regards, keep the videos coming.

Great session James what time of the day were you fishing?
great stuff man! What a feed and great bait too. Even the audio is great! Is that just off the cam or a wireless mic? Cheers
Thanks mate! I run a few different audio and have wind proof mics. 👍

Nice video mate! Where is this beautiful place?
Thanks! This is Portsea pier
Pretty good day for you. nice.
Is the float fixed if so at what depth from the jig ?!?
Thanks
Generally 2 metres off the bottom
Thanks for this video. Do you keep the baited jig just a few cm under the float? how shallow was the water? do you have to adjust the distance based on depth?
Generally 1-2m off the bottom! Thanks for watching
What pier is that
What app are you using mate?
Está claro que los calamares que tenéis por esa zona,no son los que tenemos por Galicia, aquí nos lo tenemos que currar mucho para pescarlos
Yes the squid are different and have to work very hard here too! This is just a very good session! 👍
@@JamesFishingAdventures Saludos desde Galicia,España🐙🐙😎
what is that prong sticking out from the other side of your reel's turning handle. Is that a mod? for what reason?
Its a reel stand ✌️

Good vid mate just dunno about your striking technique though 😅
What striking technique? Been doing that for 15+ years with great success
@@JamesFishingAdventures if they're barely hooked say just by the candle you'll more than likely lose it when you strike.. also the squid are more aware once they have been stung losing a bit of their tentacle and are less likely to come back for your jig.
So even if they're barely hooked you can still have a chance at landing them with light drag and a slow wind no strike.
@@lukeburkill7767 correct however the strike sets the hook, there is no right or wrong however Ive rarely lost squid from this.
