Ceruloplasmin-bound copper has its copper loaded by ATP7B, which requires retinoic acid and magnesium, or else Cp-Cu will not be fully functional. Can we have video on Mthfr and related nutrients deficiencies because of it and diseases cause by it. A book from Dr. Ben Lynch may help to understand mthfr and other polymorphism, it is titled Dirty Genes Also Dr. Carolyn Lewdosky has great information about it. It is not an insulated Gene polymorphism, there are several variants, and it is correlated with other enzymatic processes.

there no such thing as copper toxicity. Getting a test back that shows high copper, whether it is a hair mineral test, a blood test, a piss test, a poop test... All of them are not how you measure copper status. There is no method to properly test for it. The body mobilizes copper when you need the copper in a certain area of the body - and the 'tests' would show it is high.
If you have issues with vitamin d3 supplement and can't go outside to get vitamin d from sun, you can get a vitamin d lamp. Verti makes a sunlamp, but it is very expensive.

So I wouldn't call it a "science based" statement but it definitely seems to be in line with the experience of many practitioners. I'm on my 3rd round of elimination now and it's been the hardest and most intense - so hopefully this will be it. I added some vagus nerve exercises a few years ago and it really accelerated my promise by enabling me to calm my body down quickly as well as improve my sleep. Wish I known about that from the beginning. I started on Wilson's NB protocol, did his practitioner training and then have done my own tests/supps/diet since then. Ceruloplasmin is an acute phase protein so it rises anytime the immune system gets activated. If you were sick when the blood sample was taken this would be the explanation. If not, it simply might be your body compensating for your high copper. In that case, that's a good sign because most people don't make enough ceruloplasmin, so more copper lands in the tissue.

My guess is low vitamin E. There is a chance that the vitamin A messes with the other fat solluble vitamins and also the DHT levels. I would stop taking vitamin A in your case.
Well there is only 1 real vit A which is from the cod liver oil, as retinol. It seem that there is also vit A1 A2 A3. So most of the vit A like retinyl palmitate are synthetic. Beta cerotine is not vit A and dr Berg talked about it. Chk your vit A and try to get the real things. Typically they are lower dosage. On iherbs I cud only find a few types of vit A are real.
In your how to take copper video you said that vitamin c helps with ceruloplasmin production which is the copper transport protein. Essentially this is a way to increase bioavailable Copper. However when I go on google and look up the relationship between vitamin C and Copper, it says that Vitamin C depletes Copper and can even cause a deficiency in high doses. This to me is just confusing. Are the researchers getting confused and measuring lower levels of the harmful biounavailable Copper as a sign of a deficiency do you think? Also in a study on guinea pigs it said: "Under conditions of vitamin C deficiency, serum copper and ceruloplasmin were elevated along with liver copper" You are saying that vitamin C increases ceruloplasmin levels, but this study is saying that lower levels of vitamin C result in elevated levels of serum ceruloplasmin. That is the opposite isn't it?
Like I explain in the video, you have to distinguish between synthetic and whole food vitamin c. Synthetic vitamin c (ascorbic acid) lowers ceruloplasmin. Whole food vitamin c helps increase it.

I was taking pretty high levels of copper glycinate. Like 2mg-8mg a day. Yeah I know, dumb. Long story. Felt really good for like a month then ended up feeling a bit off. My copper levels dropped substantially when I started taking really high doses of silicic acid and monomethyltocotrieonal like half a bottle of living silcia everyday, was expensive. But that brought me back to normal along with taking some low dose iron kids gummies and buffered vitamin c with astaxanthin to avoid the oxidative stress with vitamins c and iron in the same day (FE daytime vitC night).

Whole food vitamin c doesn't have a lot of copper but it is high in the copper containing enzyme tyrosinase. This enzyme helps increase ceruloplasmin.

I think that citrate really lowers ceruplasmin, sometimes when I take lemon juice or high doses of potassium citrate I get the copper brain symtoms.

Natural Vitamin C from food has four parts, including copper and ascorbic acid.

I was taking pretty high levels of copper glycinate. Like 2mg-8mg a day. Yeah I know, dumb. Long story. Felt really good for like a month then ended up feeling a bit off. My copper levels dropped substantially when I started taking really high doses of silicic acid and monomethyltocotrieonal like half a bottle of living silcia everyday, was expensive. But that brought me back to normal along with taking some low dose iron kids gummies and buffered vitamin c with astaxanthin to avoid the oxidative stress with vitamins c and iron in the same day (FE daytime vitC night).
Is there any reference on the whole food vitamin C thing? I saw Morley Robbins talk about it on various places online. But he didn't mention any reference. I can't find any reliable source on this.
I believe he refers to this study when talking about the ceruloplasmin lowering effects of ascorbic acid: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3694287/
His reasoning for choosing whole food vit c is that is has tyrosinase, which is a copper carrying enzyme that actually helps build ceruloplasmin. Hope this helps :)

Vitamin C is okay. Whole Foods vitamin C is a new scam. Morley thinks he knows everything and I don’t agree with him. Like a frustrated guy who couldn’t get into medical school.

I could never tolerate ascorbic acid. Always upset my stomach. Whole food C never gives me any issues. It changed my life.
@@AmyB1961 I take 6 gms of ascorbic acid daily since 9-10 year now and I always do it well. Dr Richard Levy confirms this. Whole Foods vitamin C is a scam. I eat fruits and enjoy them.

LOL, everyone of his videos ends with work with a practicioner. SO why listen to him?
2 things. You don’t state what a normal Ceruloplasmin level is. Or an optimal level. 2nd. Morley Robins is a lay person with no scientific background. He’s not a biochemist, geneticist, etc. take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt.
So your sayingthatonlypeople with a degree in a specific field are the only ones qualified or capable of understanding this field? Or making accurate contributions to the body of knowledge. That no other intelligent people studying a topic should be listened to? Ridiculous!!

Understood. He doesn't have the creditials. However, plenty of ppl who have the degree and did pharmaceutical school, wait, I mean medical school have been leading us down a path of sickness so its worth listening to Morley with an open mind/heart. He studied a lot of scientific papers which is more than I can say for myself. His theory seems to give me a lot of "ah ha" moments.
