    Minerals are all interconnected. Iron can be decreased by increasing either zinc or copper. Copper is down regulated by silver, sulfur, cadmium, zinc and microwaves. So the best thing to do is to try to get all the minerals you can and avoid stress which also reduces minerals.

      @@GutHealthGurus I always refer to the human mineral wheel. During covid everyone was pounding down zinc, not realizing that they were becoming deficient in copper, sulfur, phosphorus, iron and calcium which are required for the production of collagen, and nearly every other protein synthesis in the body. This deficiency is the cause of severe dental collapse as well as even worse systematic conditions. Yet governments continue to push false narratives that support their population control agendas and the world struggles to find both truth and minerals in the modern foods.

      Is there a list or order of which minerals come first that then activate with the next mineral. I've been looking online a lot for something like this. I am only finding the individual minerals and what activates it. Like Calcium needs Magnesium and potassium... I feel like there is something more than the Kreb cycle that is a list of what mineral is needed in a long list of activations. If one or more minerals are depleted, then the list would be helpful to find where to start supplementing correctly to build it back up.
      Is there a list/order I can study somewhere? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! ❤

    An interesting thing is as a general rule ,growing plant food uses far more glyphosate than growing meat ,but ironicaly the fattening of animals on feedlots uses indirectly some of the same foods grown using glyphosate.
    I live in southern Western Australia. each country and region practises of agriculture should be analysed individualy.
    We can educate ourselves by growing our own vegetables and procuring clean meat if possible.
    Our learning comes best through forming good relationships with organic farmers who understand your region.
    Dont fall into the trap of the allusion of being self sufficient, this is not how humans thrive on any level. ❤

      This needs to be rectified. What can consumers do other than boycott and self-ban all these foods? It's a shame anyone has leverage over food to outright poison it when other countries have stopped all use of glyphosates. We should look into Europe's actions and how they got Monsanto and glyphosates banned and proceed in a similar action.❤

      Yes, the microbiome is missing from our soils and this is caused by over farming and not replacing the nutrients to the soil. The industrial farming technique sprays only the leaves of the plant with nutrients so the plants look healthy, but inside the plant it is deficient of any nutrients whatsoever - our bodies see this as waste and we end up with Gull Bladder removal as well as a myriad of other poisonings to organs.
      This alone should be enough evidence to sue these industrial ill-intendeds...
      ❤There was a study of some kind of amazing substance that when put a small amount into soil it recovers very quickly and adjoining soils benefit from it too. It was a super dense nutrient found in living soil, just can't remember what it is called. A female environmental speaker from India has been talking about this for over a decade.

    Why do they feel better?

    • @GutHealthGurus
      @GutHealthGurus  6 місяців тому +3

      Thanks for bringing up this question! It's interesting to explore why people feel better after taking iron supplements despite it not being a long-term solution for low iron levels. Perhaps we can discuss with Morley in our next interview.

    • @emilykelly2815
      @emilykelly2815 24 дні тому

      The studies indicate a possible reason is that there is a approximate 6 week window after taking an iron supplement when it can artificially raise the blood levels temporarily. This can contribute to short term "feeling good" but at what cost? The oxidative stress rises from the unbound iron and the body has to push harder to try to mitigate it. Eventually organs and systems are so overwhelmed with the continuous amount of oxidative stress that symptoms start to show up.

      @@calikeisha365 I know, right? I was so shocked. My ferritin was third world level, my hemoglobin was like 40% under what it should be. Severely anemic. It's mostly down to hypothyroidism. It causes malabsorption, so I wasn't producing enough stomach acid or bile to break down my food properly and extract the nutrients. Also, I was addicted to strong black coffee, I was kind of using it to mask the fatigue and weakness of the anemia. There's compounds in coffee that bind to iron if you take it close to a meal and stop you absorbing it as you should. It's not so much the caffeine, it's the chlorogenic acid. Tea is even worse for stealing iron! Also, something I didn't know until too late - I knew to avoid calcium alongside iron, as it binds to it and stops you absorbing it, but I didn't know that eggs did the same thing. I'd have eggs with most meals, and always have them with liver because I found it very intense to eat on its own. The thing is, the phosvitin in one egg will bind to 28% of the iron in whatever meal you have it with. And I was having four or five eggs most days.
      So. Perfect storm. I do think carnivore can be great for treating autoimmune conditions, so if your hypothyroidism is Hashimoto's, it might help lower inflammation in your body, but mine is just primary hypothyroidism, so low carb just didn't leave me with enough insulin to make thyroid hormones. Currently following Paul Saladino's approach and have reintroduced a lot of fruit and honey. Eating clean, no processed carbs, but plenty of natural sugars. To be honest, though, my health didn't start to improve until I conceded defeat on trying to heal myself with food, and started taking T3 and T4 hormones. Sometimes you just gotta take the damn pills.

    If we have that much iron in our system, that means our stools must be as black as tar , right? Im 85 years old and my stools are brown, so , what does that mean?

    • @GutHealthGurus
      @GutHealthGurus  5 місяців тому +1

      It's great that you're curious about this! Stool color can vary based on many factors, including diet and medications.

      I heard our bodies don’t have good methods to remove iron, except for removing blood (menstruating, donating blood, etc.)
      If that’s true then we shouldn’t be excreting a lot of iron in our stools, unless it’s from food that was not digested.

      @@patrycja2696I think too that it is based on how ones body, ancestral locations, and blood type deal with the meat that can be great for one person while not working as good for others. A blood types do not have enough stomach acid to digest meat everyday. Plain and simple. So they would require more hydrochloric acid and maybe a couple other things like Bromelain and fulvic acid.
